Enchanted AU DinLuke

Luke Skywalker is a wizard(?) Prince, who's destiny is destroy his own father, the Dark Knight-Wizard, Darth Vader. Everyone told him (and sing, they sing) how he is their last hope to defeat the Evil Emperor. He is very naive, and have this view of justice and love.

Before the fight, he is near a "magic" well, and he wishes that he can do something to bring his father back. But he was pushed for the disguised Emperor, who knows that Luke is the weakness of Vader and he could defeat him. But Artoo, the animal friend of Luke (who speaks) watched what happens, and he goes to tell Princess Leia (Luke's sister) and Sir Han Solo (the Princess's beloved and Luke's friend).

Meanwhile, Luke travel to another world. One 'without' magic, animals that could talk, princess and knights, etc. He feels helpless, until he think he finds a "castle" (a bilboard) and tries to ask for help.

Meanwhile, the single father, Din Djarin, is dealing with the problems with Bo-Katan, a heiress, because for a misunderstood he becomes the owner of "Mandalore Enterprise". But he is a really simple man, who loves his adopted son, Grogu, a little baby child who doesn't know how to talk, just make noises and some words. He only has the help of his friends, Cara, Greef, Fennec, Cobb and Boba (who is really strange in some point[spoiler: he is other person who travels from this fairytale world, a hunter]).

Until the day when he meet the strange (and really, really, cute) blonde guy in a bilboard who looks like a fairytale prince. Grogu runs to the strange man, who almost fall, if Din hadn't reacted and saved him. At Grogu's insistence, Din brings the boy to his department. He said his name is Luke Skywalker (ok), and he is a prince(what) and a wizard (...what?), and he needs to go back with his friends to defeat an Evil Bad guy (...he get lost in the middle of that, again, what?). He would have to send the boy to an Asylum, but Grogu likes him (and if Grogu has "good feelings" with someone they don't know...well, that feelings were leading them to a good way).

Luke lives with them, but Din's friends thinks Luke is his boyfriend (Cobb said he is a "special twink friend" and Boba almost punched him). Grogu wants him to stay, but he believes in what he says about save his friends and family, specially his father. Din doesn't believe in fairytales, but something in this young boy, innocent, sweet, and pure blue eyes, makes his heart beat really fast. And Luke, who is not comfortable with the view of "real world", feels okay when he is with Din. But, he is the Chosen One, in what part of the prophecy is written that he could feel "something" for this man (and his baby)?.

Nothing is easy for Luke. Specially because Darth Vader finds out where he is and thinks he could defeat Luke (coughcoughPalpsorderscoughcough) and convinced him to join the Dark Army.

The bad Guys wants Luke. The Rebellion wants Luke. Din and Grogu wants Luke.

If somebody tell you that Fairytales are really easy, you have to pay more attention to this one.

- likes flavored water, and it’s the only way he can drink it now

- most candles are too strong for him

- builds lego in his spare time

- uses the fact he built an ikea desk by himself as an icebreaker

- has spotify playlists for different moods

a little reminder since we're in the midst of the holidays, please be kind, please be thoughtful, reach out to your friends and mutuals, check on each other.

for alot of people, this isn't a happy time, they're either reminded of the family they don't have/talk to, dealing with trauma anniversaries or the holidays are just not for them.

and if you're one of those people, listen when I say : I'm proud of you. I know it's hard when we're reminded of the people we've lost, and the hardships we've been through. you're strong, you're smart and you're doing your best and that's okay. you don't have to be doing what everyone else is doing for it to be your best. please remember your body deserves food and water, take care of it even if you don't like it or want to. there are people who care about you, even if you feel alone there will always be someone who cares. if you don't have that right now, than I'm that person. I love you, I'm proud of you, and in spirit I'm giving you a hug.

luke and din sharing their scars with one another. din is covered in scars, ranging from blaster bolt hits, stabbings, to even strangulation on his neck. luke asks for the story of each one, and din tells it only a tad hesitantly. he has never shared this much with anyone before, but luke is focused on every word he says, eyes gazing over his many scars. luke shows his next, and din is shocked to see that the jedi is covered in scars, too. he'd seemed so untouchable for as long as din had known him, so to see him badically etched with lightning like lines burned into his skin was horrifying. they were everywhere, too. spreading from the bottom of his neck to the tips of his toes and fingers, dancing across his skin like that of a cruel and jagged pencil line. he starts to trace them without even realizing it, finding a few more, hidden scars around them. there is a small one from a droid malfunctioning and the part stabbing him in his side on the farm. that one is from not watching his step on hoth and slipping on the ice, slicing his arm open on a nasty icicle. there are the ones from the wampa attack, and bite marks from a considerably large womp rat. and then luke reveals his worst scar- how could it be worse than the lightning? his hand had been cut clean from his wrist, replaced with one made of metal. there are small jagged marks not from the lightning strikes sticking out from the bottom of the mechanical hand, showing the wear and damage having a piece of metal connected to your wrist could cause. din and luke hate the stories behind the scars, but the way some of them made the other look? who could deny it didn't attract them.

I don't know how to draw, but someone had to do it.🤷🏻‍♀️

i read an article a little while ago on mlm ships involving men of color, and i really love how the dinlukes ive interacted with and seen art and writing from havent played into the stereotypes that were mentioned in it, like making din overly masculine and making luke dainty

they’re both kickass dudes, just because you ship luke with another homie doesn’t mean he loses that part of him

i also love seeing subversions in hcs, like din getting flustered over things luke says to him, that’s cute and men of color usually don’t get to have that moment in ships

His child is alive. Sidious lied. The Jedi took his son from him. They will all pay. So here is what would happen if Vader sensed, found and raised Luke.
