Hekatombaia
Hekatombaia were festivities in honor of Apollo, God of Sun, in which were executed an enormous sacrifice of 100 bulls (here the name hekatombaia, in Italian "ecatombe"). Along with the bulls, also sheep and poultry were sacrificed and offered to people for feasting in God's bless. During the day also were performed musicals and poetics competitions.
Here is Ludwig von Schlegel. I choose this surname because I made this Saint Seiya original character in the meanwhile I was studying for German Philology exam.
He’s a specter from the two goddess sisters Makarie and Melinoë, both daughters of Hades (in the myth).
He was born in North Germany from a Greek father and a German mother, and trained in Greece to become silver saint - his name was Vulpecula. But as he became silver saint, some Athena’s enemies, as revenge, killed his parents - Athena showed no interest in that situation. So, Ludwig started left slowly her side ‘cause of the pain he suffered and the disinterest for his mourning and miasma he was living.
So, he started to live alone near Eleusis, where in the cave where Nameless Gods statues stood, met two old sisters who he chatted for a while with. They talked about mercy, respect and during the months Ludwig lived there, always visited them. The two old women introduced Hades’ daughters as mercy and respectable goddess, towards which Ludwig got more and more close.
At the end, he would left Athena’s side as silver saint to rebirth as terrestrial mercy star on the side of the two old women, whom will reveal as the two goddess self.

Yesterday (19/20) was in July the second celebration of God Adonis, the first was in March.
During this day one untied the procession in which sacred pictures of God Adonis and Goddess Aphrodite were magnified through the streets of the city. All were surrounded by flowers and fruits; plus, “Adonis’ Gardens” were carried during the processions, i.e. terracotta vases with little plants to thrown overboard as offering.
July parties, as opposed to funerals in March, celebrated the Passional Love between Goddess Aphrodite and God Adonis.

OMG, Japanese ebook sites like Cmoa and Renta started to publish the webtoon Ennead and it’s soooooo good! It’s about the Horus-Seth conflict from Egyptian mythology but with BL (well the original myth also has versions where they became sexual, so…). The art is great and the webtoon is very stylish with great visual ideas. Anyone interested should wait for the English release though, it should be out on Tappytoon, I think, and it will be much cheaper than the Japanese edition. The series will be long as usual, up to 63 chapters currently, so it’s not the same if you pay 66 yen for a chapter or 36 yen (converted).
(Just checked if there’s a book version out already in Korea, and while there’s none, they do have goods! Oh my…)
