Gaia is the creator and destroyer of man.
Every human being (who may or may not be half human) automatically belongs to her. They remain hers until the human being decides whether or not to submit to another God/ Goddess.
She is a chaotic neutral. She desires that humans adapt to everything and outperform everyone else. She despises it when her "children" come second to anything. It makes no difference whether they enjoy it or not.
Humans are considered her because she created them by ripping skin and using her own blood. When she realized that wasn't going to be enough to make the alive , she tore tiny pieces of her soul and stuffed them into Human bodies in order for them to become sentient.
The gods and goddesses are whispering that she did this to use humans as a weapon. Some believe she made them adaptable in hopes that when they have children, they will be stronger than their forefathers. As a result, humans can produce children with nonhumans.
Once a human begins to completely worship her, there is no turning back. For her, either you worship her or you will eventually.
The tests she subjects humans to are grueling. Most people will not be able to get past the tutorials of the trials she has put them through, but that is the point. They must devise strategies to get through those difficulties without her or outside assistance
Even if they fail, they can try again. She says, and I quote "It makes no difference what my children do; if they believe they are ready, they are. They cannot turn their backs when it becomes too difficult. They will not be a coward because I am not one."
Once they have passed her trials, their job is to ensure that other humans come to her because "after all, mother hates it when her child calls someone else mother." Their job also entails ensuring that they have children so that they can study under her and only her. She teaches them not to bow their heads to anyone. Especially not her.
She teaches her children that they are gods, and that they do not need to bow their heads to any other God but themselves, and that anyone who says otherwise deserves to be killed, including the gods.
Even with those small murmurs of her using humans as weapons for some unknown purpose, some gods believe there is a place with billions of humans. On a world that even the darkest of dark gods will not make nor enter, where the humans she obviously loves ripped themselves apart for her fav-love. I ment love. When they die, they end up at her house, where she rebuilds them and sends them back. To fortunately or unfortunately repeat the cycle. (Ps this is my first story so let me know how it is.đ„č)

The thing about humans is that they do not consider themselves a hive mind. However, by the mosr acceptable definitions, they are one. Humans must be kept together, either physically or virtually with each other. They must know about their ânewsâ, about âwhat is happeningâ. And, much to the Greederâs fears, they must know about âideasâ.
Those things are like one of the Great Universal Plagues to a Greeder! No ideas shall pass to humans. They have developed guides for that, even. âHow to Contain an Earthlingâ. The authors of such guides studied Human History as much as they could, learning with their ancestors on the art of lies and dismay.
What Greeders failed to understand is that they would have been the richest of the Galaxy if they truly knew how to contain an earthling.
At first, aliens didnât know what safe work conditions were for the species that punched each other for sport. Most of the ships then developed new safety measures, following human guidance. Some did not.
Greeders are stubborn. They took one look at the weekâs newly discovered âhorrific beast beyond imaginationâ and did not think about said beastâs wrath. They heard the tales of the humans working together, singing, even, while fixing dangerous things using simple safety measures, and thought they could be easily fooled. âOf course we have safe work conditionsâ, they lied to some of them, never bothering to be more than looks.
There are three universal rules between species. Never assume the other is like you, always ask before doing something you never did before, and donât mess with a member of a hive mind
But the foolish small beasts that behaved like little gremlins, those armed with weird and gross âhandsâ capable of doing anything they wanted, those who would jump deep into engines and cover themselves with dirt to do their job, never saw themselves as a hive mind, and everyone else was too terrified of what a hive mind made of terrifying horrors buried within Earth itself would behave like.
But when the first humans started to be hurt and the Greeders did everything they could to pretend they did not saw it, the historians of the Earthly Hive remembered. They told the engineers. The healers were angry. The idea appeared.
The idea spread.
The idea took over.
They demanded sympathy from the Greeders, knowing well it would be denied.
They left the ships. The idea was pulsing, much like a heart.
They did not have to re-remember how to fight.
The Earthly Hive appeared as a small group, less than ten thousand, agrouped in a small multitude of  a hundred ships. The machines buzzed, identical to the ones they had to give their blood to fix.
They sang in unison. They made noise. And, at the end of the act, they

âGive us safetyâ, shown in yellow, as images flashed in the background. âOr you will be the nextâ.
The invention of the guillotine was something that fascinated other alien workers.
The Greeders were too terrified to look at it a second time.
Alien: My human won't talk to me. They just act mad at me.
Councillor hologram: Can you think of anything you may have done which could have annoyed the human?
Alien: Nothing. We've been getting along very well for as long as we've known each other.
Councillor hologram: Perhaps you did something without meaning to. Talk me through the events which occurred prior to the human being angry. Maybe I will be able to detect where a possible mistake occurred.
Alien: everything was normal. I woke up, prepared breakfast. My human awoke, we talked, and suddenly they seemed angry at me.
Councillor hologram: perhaps it was something that was said. What did you talk about?
Alien *shrugging*: I didn't say much, they were the ones doing most of the talking. They were telling me about an unusual REM induced vision they experienced.
Councillor: humans call them "dreams."
Alien*nods*: Yeah, that's the word. Well, apparently, they dreamt that the two of us were getting prepared for a space-walk. Then the version of me in the dream told them something like, "I'm breaking up with you." And then proceeded to push them out of the airlock before they could put in their EVA suit.
Councillor hologram: Apologise!
Alien: For what?
Councillor hologram: for what you did.
Alien *shocked*: but I didn't do anything.
Councillor hologram: but your human dreamed that you did. You need to apologise for it. Bring some of their favourite human treats. They will forgive you, in time. They will accept it was a dream, eventually. But first, you need to apologise.
Alien: but that doesn't make any logical sense.
Councillor *nods*: is that not the definition of "human behaviour?"
