I just know that Badeea's parents lived like muggles during the wizarding war, that her mother was concerned about how poorly wizards were adapting to the modern world, and that she insisted on Badeea having more of a practical career so she could survive if something like this happens again. Positive character is from Russia (that won't give up its imperialistic ambitions and admit its war crimes for the last three centuries) - ✔️, he's nostalgic about USSR ("prison of nations" that literally killed tens of millions of its own citizens) - ✔️, wears "z" on his chest (I explained above) - ✔️✔️✔️
And I know they didn't mean it. I know it's most likely not some evil plot to brainwash people into supporting Russia. They added it because they didn't know. They didn't care about thousands killed civilians enough to check some history and change some details.

I want to understand the whole thing going on with Ben X Ismelda and what was that moment that just made you go “Yeah, I ship it”
It was mostly cuz I thought it'd be funny. I don't have the screenshots in question, but it started back when Year 6 first came out.
Ben's personality did an entire 180 and he was taking regular trips to Knockturn and threaten the locals to prove how strong he became.
For Ismelda, her dialogue was based on a side quest where she mentioned that her dating type would be someone that would bathe in the blood of their enemies.
The idea clicked for me almost immediately. She'd totally fall for New!Ben.
The biggest motivators for me were cuz I found it funny, and because I don't think anyone else shipped them as far as I knew, even at the fandom's peak. I figured I'd commit by having the two sort their stuff out so they'd balance off each other better, have them get married, and give them kids.

Reina and Rowan aren't against the two dating. It's the fact that it took Ben a while for it to even click.

At the same time, representatives of the US government travel to russia, communicate amicably with the war criminals, and lie about russia's desire for peace. This is more than outrageous. There isn't yet a word for it.

This is my Gryffindor MC - Rosy Cantor. I have other MC's for every house at Hogwarts, but this is the one I use in the game and she has the most lore.
Her mother ran away from her father when she was just born, frequently moved around and often pretended to have no children to throw him off the track. She casted numerous protective spells, including disillusionment charm, on Jacob and Rosy to ensure their safety, and bought a specifically trained kneazle Meowphistopheles to alert them in case of danger.
It was fun at first to explore new places with Jacob, while being invisible and having no responsibility for her actions, but after he went to Hogwarts, she couldn't go out on her own. Since then she mostly sat at home alone, playing with Meowphistopheles and reading, which was extremely boring but gave her enough vocabulary for her future friendship with Rowan.
After Voldemort was defeated, her mother started letting her out and tried to socialize her as much as she could, which wasn't hard because Rosy would rather anything than be alone. However, in less than a year, after Jacob was expelled, their family once again became outcasts of wizarding world, and no one who knew about them ( which thanks to daily prophet was everyone) wouldn't dare to spend any more time around them then it took to shout something about being cursed and dangerous to the society. Rosy quickly learned to defend herself from whoever was attacking her, but at this point she was willing to die and come back from hell without dying for anyone who was remotely kind to her.
