When you are writing a character with trauma keep it balanced. Let's be honest, the plot were the characters parents die in a car accident is kinda boring. On the other hand, a character whos parents got struck by a lightning is just utterly stupid (unless you are writing fantasy and that incident is somehow related to someones super powers).
ALSO trauma is not only "dead parents" or "abusive alcoholic dad/mom". There are lots of different things that may form your characters the way they are right now. You can make a big issue and future trauma out of almost every situation.
Remember: don't give all your characters the same trauma. This is just impossible to happen in real life. (Unless all of them knew each other back then and all witnessed/were personally affected by that incident. Like in OMORI lol).
its finals season baby!
when cellbit said that ricardo was feeling like a beast and that the moon was calling him, this is what I thought was going to happen
Make a list of ways people express irritation. Gestures, verbal tics, indirect responses are all fair game. Here's a few to get you started:
A barbed comment such as "I see you got dressed in a rush this morning"
Not leaving enough space as you walk past someone
Moving an object of theirs and putting one of yours in its place
Slamming a door
