"Mom? Dad? Where are you?!"

I, Croissant Cookie... well, to be honest, was a lonely kid when I was younger. Which means, ha, I had to live by myself.

Many people told me not to take what I don't own... but of course, I did. Mainly things I needed to keep myself alive. I was getting pretty good at it. Honestly I'm surprised I wasn't arrested at least once.

Though, there was this guy, Phantom Bleu.

They were my idol. I read the news about them in the herald, and wow, were they just like me. However they were even more than just a thief. They were a phantom thief. Unlike me, instead of stealing things like food just to survive, they stole relics. Jewels, especially. Without leaving a trace. Disappearing before the targets knew what hit them.

Rubies, the symbol of strength. These jewels are what inspired me to keep moving... and I even got to see one at a museum, too.

But that time when I did, a heist was in set, and I got to witness their calling card--

Phantom Bleu... they were just as amazing as I thought! So dapper, stealthy as well... mon dieu, their disguise really seemed to perplex me! They had their eye on me! Somehow, just, somehow, Bleu knew I had a keen eye for relics such as these... But for all I know, during this heist, the police were caught onto me! I didn't do anything wrong, was being I too suspicious?!

"Get the girl! She could be part of their plan, too!"

I was scared, I didn't do anything wrong. Surely this was the end of me, I thought! Bon, ben...

Suddenly! Phantom Bleu swept me off my feet, I could not believe my eyes! They faced the police, so brave and confident! "This sweet girl is none of my business! She is merely but an innocent, do not frame her for my own doings."

They were holding me, and I haven't really felt this much safe before despite the fact they were a thief.

"Au revoir, gentlemen!", they exclaimed before taking me to someplace safe. It was the city alleyway, the cops couldn't see where we were.

"Are you hurt?" Bleu asked, worringly.

I didn't... really expect this from them, non. I expected them to be some actual rogue, but they seemed really sweet... so I replied, "I... I have nowhere to go to..."

"Oh mon dieu, not even your parents? You do not even know your way back? You poor thing..." Bleu sweetly said. It was... oddly comforting. My eyes were on that jewel they were holding... the same ruby they were locked on during my visit...

"I will take you for now, petite rubis. Rest assured, you will be safe."

My eyes gleamed in awe... the great Phantom Bleu... I've become their protege... and they were what they are now... my guardian! Was I too old for this? Oui, but... I didn't realize how much I needed this until now! Especially because Phantom Bleu was my idol... but I now then came to know their real name,

Roguefort Cookie. They taught me many things. And as much as they hesitated, they passed on even their own skills to me.

And so, here I am. Phantom Ruby. The next thing galleries around the city were fearing for. I am now Bleu's pupil... and I won't let these cops get my guard down. Not a chance!

REAPER is obviously a time - travelling grim reaper, collecting souls for the afterlife and using their timeweaver scythe as a form of chronokinesis. they're very mysterious yet respectful.

CHORDS on the other hand-- based on the very popular voice synthesizing program, VOCALOID, is a vocal synthesizer who only exists within the confines of the digital world. their design is based on gramophones.
