omg- i have over 24,000 words on my TV Peaky Blinder's inspired AceSabo au- and i only have two more chapters left- which at the pace i'm going will prob be at LEAST 5k words each- i'm so fucking excited to post this AHHH- so, in the meantime- despite the fact that i said i'd upload the colored version of my 20's Ace sketch when i started uploading the fic- here's the drawing early as i have a better one to be posted when i start posting the fic itself- so- please enjoy this rendered/colored Peaky Blinder's Ace

AceSabo Superhero Soulmate AU

Summary-

The Jester blinked at him, before he sighed and slipped his glove off. Raising his hand to grab the others, “okay, then. It’s a deal-” as soon as their skin met, both froze. The shock seemingly forcing Jester’s words to fall silent on his lips.

Like his hand had been burnt, Ace snapped it away. Eyes wide and brow furrowed as he stared at the villain in a new light.

Impossible!

It was impossible!

There was no way that could be right-

The villain just stared at him with a gaping mouth, “...what?”

Ace couldn’t help but agree, “fuck.”

The Jester then stared at him with a furrowed brow, “you-” he then lifted his gaze back to Ace’s, “you’re my soulmate?”

When Ace started working under the Whitebeard Hero Agency, he thought the biggest secret he'd have to keep would be his- illegal- nightly activities as a defender of his district... not that he was the soulmate to the number two villain in the whole city... maybe it wasn't too late to see if McDonalds was still hiring.

i've never seen anything more accurate in my life- i'll be sitting there writing, trying to cover up every plot-hole, smooth out every detail i can find, make everything make sense to my picky brain all while trying to fight the demons of the world building past what i can control, thinking that 'does this make sense to the reader? oh no- this will be so confusing to them-' meanwhile said lovely reader- chilling while reading it all the way through accepting every flaw they see and not giving a fuck if it makes sense because 'my favorite's are once again going through shit and i now must read all of it'

...sometimes i forget what's it's like to be a reader when writing... XD

Sad AceSabo thoughts

this was based on a convo i remember having with one of my friends- idk how this convo started, or if it was based on something as i had found it buried in my docs on one of the fics i'm working on. but just-

Ace a year after Sabo's 'death'. After the pain of Sabo's death refuses to leave him, asks Makino why it hurts him so much. And Makino asks Ace how he viewed Sabo, who Sabo was to him, and after Ace explained that Sabo was pretty much everything to him before Luffy, and hell even after Luffy, Makino told him he loved him. Which years later Ace starts realizing wasn't the same love he thought she was talking about, the same love he had for Luffy and her, and instead it was different, so adult Ace had to come to terms that he met the love of his life when he was a child, but lost him before he realized. Sabo, on the other hand, would realize the days after he remembers, the days he's mourning and thinks back on all he was forced to forget, and realizes that he too met the love of his life, and just lost him before he realized as well. All because they were too young to realize the differences in love. And both had to come to terms that the other was well and truly gone, and no matter what they weren't coming back… and hell, maybe Sabo getting Aces fruit felt a little like getting Ace back.

Sad AcBo thoughts my friends, a fic like this would probably have me crying like a baby, ngl

an AcBo fic where the ending isn't what it seems? confusing, i know- but really i just wanted to write a fic where the whole fic was one thing and the ending was another... kinda...

essentially- this is an AcBo fic where Sabo is helping someone while also not helping someone, Ace is a mafia/crime boss, and Smoker and Tashigi are the cops trying to take Ace and the Whitebeard's down.

although- it doesn't go to plan, as not everyone is on the same side, and some have motives they don't intend to share.

also- this may not seem like it, but it has a happy ending, well, i think it is at least. and i love AcBo, so honestly i'd take my word for it XD

ZoLu Gods/Goddesses au fanfiction

this is an older series of mine, i will admit. i wrote this months ago but i've only recently gotten onto Tumblr so i thought i'd share it XD

Zoro is the god of Death and War, and Luffy is the mortal he fell in love with.

two books in the series- with a few oneshots as well- both finished completely.

Me and my friend had come up with an AceSabo Peaky Blinders au loosely based on Tommy and Grace's love story- it's in the works rn but no chapters are out yet- and I was having a hard time trying to figure out what Ace would look like as a Peaky Blinder, so I drew him

It's rough and not colored- the colored one will get posted when I finish the fic and start posting that- so sorry about that😅 I just needed to visualize him so I thought I'd share.

Also- he has freckles- I just realized they were hard to see after, so sorry about that😭😅

Random thought- but just- Modern au Ace pretending to not be able to open a jar- and so he goes to Sabo- who I'm picturing has an at home desk job, right?- who's currently on call in some sort of meeting- like catching up or some shit, nothing too important, which Ace 100% knew when deciding this- and just hands him the jar while Sabos talking to his co-workers and Sabo, not thinking and honestly more focused on what he's talking about, just absentmindedly grabs the jar and opens it-

now, just cause Ace could've done it himself does not mean that that jar was easy to open- so now Sabos blinking at his boyfriend while Ace is laughing and honestly a little stunned and his co-workers- like- Dragon, Koala, etc- are just blinking at the fact that a hand just popped onto the screen, gave Sabo a jar of like pickles or something, and without missing a beat Sabo opened it and handed it back like it was nothing

Ik it's random- but it just popped into my head randomly so I had to share-

I love how in just about any Ace and Sabo reunion fic/fanart/fancomic that I've seen of those two reuniting that Ace will 100% punch Sabo no hesitation. It's pretty much Canon at this point. Like- all of Ace's suppressed childhood gremlin anger WILL be unleashed the moment he lays eyes on the blonde bastard who showed him how to love and care and be loved and cared for.
