I saw a Fairy Tail AU, and thought “Wow, I can make that hurt a lot,” so here’s my own version.

Celestial Mage Tubbo has been pretty much raised by Celestial Spirit Wilbur and is best friends with Celestial Spirit Tommy. The two are the closest thing to a family he has.

(The Zodiac Spirits are replaced by the Chinese Zodiac, for reasons. Wilbur is the rabbit, Tommy is the dragon, Techno the pig, Schlatt the goat, ect)

At some point, he finds himself invited to the widely known Esempi Guild, run by Guild master Dream, which has a bit of a disaster-prone reputation, but eh. He’s always been the type to give out chances. So he goes.

Anyway, what this basically amounts to is the scene where Lucy has to break Aquarius’ key to summon the Spirit King, but it’s Tubbo with Wilbur’s key, forced to sacrifice the only parental figure he’s ever known to summon Philza, the equivalent of the Spirit King, knowing he’ll never get to see him again.

Extra angst in the option of him later trying to make Tommy made enough to leave him, because he knows that the other Spirit is torn between going back and finding his brother, and staying with his best friend, and decides it’ll be an easy decision to make if Tommy hates him-it’s not like it’d be undeserved, since he just destroyed Wilbur’s key.

What about a httyd au? Phil is the chief and Tommy is the youngest kid who’s tired of being looked down on compared to his dad and famous brothers who are all legendary dragon slayers, so he tries to capture a dragon himself and ends up with the equal parts friendly and terrifying night fury!Tubbo. Cue friendship! (Bonus if Tubbo can temporarily shapeshift into human form when his bond with Tommy is strong enough.)

God what if he and Tubbo fight side by side. Holy shit that would be cool. Tubbo shapeshifting back and forth between a human and dragon. Oh god.

Also Techno, we can have him have Carl, the Dragon he has adopted shortly after Tommy made friends with Tubbo.

Hmmmm but we got to figure out the shapeshifting thing part out. Maybe Tubbo is like one of those enchanted dragons or something? Like he definitely won’t let Tommy “capture him”. Maybe he just wanted friends and Tommy was so bad at capturing that he accidentally made friends with this human who is about his age.

Anyways, found family is pog and I like to think that Quackity, Schlatt, are shapeshifter and oh god there is so many god damn possibilities with this au.

Fundy being one of those Dragon shapeshifters and finding out when he was young and freaking out about it because his dad is a dragon slayer...

They say odd things always happen more on a full moon-for the young of the Smp, this has unfortunately made itself true, as they begin waking up in strange places with no memory of the night before, and with a growing abundance of strange instincts they don’t know how to sate. 

Or, after a blood moon, Tubbo, Tommy, Ranboo, Purpled, and Fundy all get their more…inhuman heritage triggered. The issue is, none of them are aware of said heritage, and while it’s typically slow to emerge, full moons send all that heritage racing to the surface, shoving anything human deep under until morning. 

You can imagine how this causes some problems, right?

Tubbo is a siren, and his residence in Snowchester has effected his siren biology, turning his hair pale blond and light grey, and giving him a tail that spends in with the ice and snow surrounding the sea. 

Purpled is either a werewolf or a selkie, I’m unsure. Werewolf would mean he could run around with his dog army, but Selkie would mean he goes in the water with Tubbo, so. I kind of like kelpie for him too…

Tommy, I’m going for Tanuki. It’s a raccoon known for mischief, which, y’know. Raccoon boy.

Fundy is a kitsune, like his mother. 

And Ranboo, jersey devil, grimm, or dragon.

Both Fundy and Tommy keep getting stuck in places that are either really small, or have small entrances-because, well. Their more feral selves keep shapeshifting to get where they want to, and unfortunately, they’re more aware selves don’t know how to do that. 

Purpled starts hanging the group more, and feels very weird about leaving. Both wolves and seals are group-oriented creatures, so he’s associating the other creatures similar to him as his group, and will get defensive of them. 

Tubbo gets weird urges to sing and hum more, and when Techno was looking through Snowchester, he had the sudden urge to drown him-it randomly just came out of nowhere, and he had to stop himself from shoving the piglin into the lake, or hissing at him.

Ranboo is probably very territorial over a place, no matter what he is, all things considered. 

Basically just Fundy and the minors being really confused, but not nearly as much as the rest of the Smp when they have the misfortune to run into these guys on a full moon, because that’s equally bewildering and terrifying, depending on who they meet.
