Everyone is born with a tattoo somewhere on the body which tells of your superpower. Most of the time it’s obvious, like a flame for fire control. You were born with no visible mark and were enrolled into the Vague Society, a help club for people with really unclear marks. Tell your (and their) stories from the help club.

Human: Deal.

Fey: Very well. When you return home tonight, your mother will be in pristine health again. It will be like she never fell ill at all. Even the memory of her suffering will fade…

Human: Thank you so much. She means everything to me.

Fey: I know, I know. Let’s hope the price wasn’t too much for you after all… Only time will tell.

Human: So, when do we start?

Fey: …If I may ask you to elaborate?

Human: You said you wanted my firstborn.

Fey: Yes? And you agreed?

Human: Yeah, so, when do we start?

Fey:

Stepping Out: Laetoli Footprints

In 1976, Yale University paleoanthropologist Andrew Hill was working with Mary Leakey’s research group on the excavation of an early-hominid archaeological site in Laetoli, Tanzania. Whilst conducting his work he unexpectedly stumbled across one of the most spectacular prehistoric discoveries ever made: a line of hominid footprints left in mud 3.6 million years ago.

Up until then, the earliest known human footprints were only tens of thousands of years old. Remarkably, Hill’s Laetoli footprint trail was nearly 30 metres. It left us with an action replay of one of the first species of prehistoric hominids who walked upright on two legs.
