Anyway I know I haven’t posted anything here in like a year but I restarted my lepacy (just started gen 4) because of my fatal flaw of getting bored when I complete a generations goals and my heirs still a child I’ve given myself permission to just age people up when I feel like it. Hi everyone! I didn’t mean to abandon this blog straight after creating it but I’ve been having some health issues and haven’t been playing the sims much. Thanks to everyone who stuck around and I hope to get back to posting soon
diehard Sims fans have their priorities backwards, like EA will announce something like “in this new expansion your sims will be able to go to the moon!!” and they’ll all be like Fuck that shit no one wants to do that. Listen to your fans… what we all want is a Salt and Pepper Shaker item so our sims can put sald and pepper on their food
The Sims 3 Smooth Patch 1.0
Yeah, you read correctly, I said Sims 3 :)
This mod makes the game’s logic threads run faster, speeding up loading of Buy/Build and CASt, smoother UI elements, smoother CAS, fixes CAS music randomly stopping. Can also speed up live mode and loading, it’s essentially a general improvement.
Steam/Disk version: SFS / Dropbox
Simply unzip the file into your “The Sims 3/Game/Bin” folder.
Origin version: SFS / Dropbox
For Origin, unzip the file into your “The Sims 3/Game/Bin” folder, and launch the game from “TS3PatchLauncher.exe” every time you want to play. It’ll be just like launching the game normally from Sims3Launcher, going through Origin and everything. If you’re bypassing the launcher by renaming your TS3.exe to Sims3Launcher.exe, it will also work just fine so don’t worry about it!
Origin Users: The launcher will attempt to boot as administrator if possible, to ensure the patch goes through.
You can configure the mod by editing the TS3Patch.txt file with notepad. I left comments in that file on how to set it up if you’re having any issues or if you think your computer is good enough to increase the speed more (or decrease it if the default is too demanding). You can also increase the “Delay” value by around 1000-5000 if the patch is failing.
The changes are most noticeable in CAS: Smoother body sliders, Sim rotation and quicker switching of clothes.

An old tweet from thepancake1 made me give this a shot, as he hadn’t released any downloads or information on how to achieve it.
It’s one thing to charge people for stupid shitposts, but Tumblr knows that gifs are one of their major attractions, they have a search feature specifically for it! How in the absolute fuck do you not see that letting people charge for the most popular posts–many of which are going to be, for example, gifs of Disney movies–is a one way ticket to the Mouse bringing out the lawsuit hammer en masse? And that it is entirely possible that it wouldn’t just be the Post Plus users, but that the entire site would be under fire for using a site that charges money to use their movies without paying any royalties or getting permission for it? Literally, how do you not see that as a nightmare that you’re bringing on yourself, tumblr?
Have you ever went to go play your game but you check simblr first then you see cc you don’t have so you say “ooo that’s cute let me download that” but then those 3-5 downloads turn into 30-50. So you say “oh that’s enough” but then your too tired to play. So your sitting there wondering if you should start your game up knowing it’s going to take forever to load.
