WAIT ive just had a Thought. AU where, when they are coming up with a noble alias for Lancelot to use so he can become a knight, they end up stumbling upon Gwaine's family crest/history whatever (yeah i know he's technically from another kingdom so this doesn't totally work, just ignore that for a sec). And they're like, "hey, the son of this one knight mysteriously vanished and no one has heard from him in years, he probably won't mind if we steal his identity". So now Lancelot is going by the name Gwaine, and everyone totally buys it, which means Lancelot gets to stay in Camelot and join Arthur and Merlin on all their adventures.

That is, until season 3, when they meet the real Gwaine. Lancelot panics, bc if there are two Gwaines running around then people will figure out what he did and he'll lose his knighthood. Luckily, Gwaine has a brilliant solution: give him Lancelot's name. So now everyone calls Lancelot "Gwaine" and they call Gwaine "Lancelot", and Gwaine and Merlin are absolutely thriving amidst all this chaos, and Lancelot is very, very confused.

Just walked in on my mom watching Merlin for the first time and was pumped she gave it a shot only for her to tell me she fast forwarded through some episodes because she just wants to see how it ends.

Now I‘ve got to suffer through the last two episodes with her CONSTANTLY asking questions about the plot because she was too lazy to actually watch it.

I‘m going to yell.

Okay but how fucking funny is it that Hunith gave Gaius literally zero indication of the shenanigans that 24/7 go down with Merlin. Like girl obviously sent letters back and forth with this man to coordinate sending her son to the sorcerer murder capital of the world and didn’t even warn him that he’d be harboring a sorcerer supreme who is fleeing home because he can’t control his abilities. Like girl 100% just banked on the fact that Merlin would be cute enough to immediately make Gaius risk it all and goddammit this wild bitch was right.

Discovering a fandom long after its original content released somehow feels like discovering an old religion believed to be dead, yet still thriving.

It's like an adventure.

Like when I started getting into Lord of the rings a year ago, or when I finished Merlin mere days ago I was bitter about not discovering them sooner, because I thought I'd missed the fandoms highs and everything left today would be crums of what it used to be, since their last content aired literally almost decades ago.

Yet when I look up fanfiction, fanarts or just the tags on tumblr I find their fandoms to be as alive the day the show finished.

It honestly feels like the closest I'll ever get to discovering a fantastical place like Atlantis or Kong Island or something like that and I think that's beautiful

I have been in love with the Zelda series for YEARS and I've always wanted to draw Link. I'd lost my motivation for drawing for quite a long time but Breath of the Wild was part of the reason why I picked it up again. So, as a tribute to that, have this drawing of Link as my first attempt at grey-scale-colouring! (I'm still figuring that one out so the execution is quite clumsy but I don't care)

Aight we watched no regrets (the levi ova) and I don't think I've ever seen her so sad omg

Like she saw Isabel's head and she was like "IS THAT HIS BUDDY" to which I said "well, that's Isabel" to which she replied "ᵒʰ ⁿᵒᵗ ᴵˢᵃᵇᵉˡ" in the tiniest voice. I mean damn, she hasn't been that emotional at any point in the main series for ANY death at all.

Kinda had to chuckle after her closing words after we finished episode two though:

"well... that was sad"

Okay okay so we finally reached the last episode and after she's ranted about how damn annoying Gabi is for like 15 minutes (lmao btw) I told her there were some extra episodes about Levi if she was interested, because she's been talking about him a LOT since Erwin last showed up. Here's the conversation that followed:

her: "Leroy? Ah, no, LEVI? Oh! YES! My favourite!!"

me: "I thought you liked Erwin the most?"

her: "Erwi- is- is he the? The titan boy? The annoying one?"

me: "lmao no that's Eren. I mean the scouts commander...?"

her: "Oh, yeah. He's good. I want the Leroy episode. I like him more. Him and Mikasa."

(and yes, she pronounces Mikasa exactly like the dudes from A Slap on Titan I can't even)

So she's been an Erwin stan from the beginning, right, like he's the only one whose name she actually remembers. And we've just reached the choosing Armin or Erwin episode. Here's a little best of of her comments during the whole ordeal:

"Ah! I knew Erwin was going to show up!" "Of course they're gonna turn him into a titan." "It's so obvious he's a titan shifter already, that's why he told Levi to give it to Armin!!!!"
