The weeks she had spent at Moonrise were what she would call uneventful. She wasn’t able to find any information about how to kill Kethric, minus the information that he is using some form of relic to keep his immortality. Where this relic was located, she hadn’t figured out yet. At least it wasn’t completely boring. She was able to have some form of authority alongside Kethric to keep some order throughout Moonrise, but there was no sign of her brother. He became merely a memory during her time spent in the shadowlands. She accepted the fact that he was gone forever. Deep down, she believed she deserved to be alone. Neither friends nor family. She was alone in this abyss of darkness, and she allowed it to consume her. Every creature that walked through the doors of the tower was at her and Kethric’s mercy, and that gave her the feeling of what power could be. She thrived off the fear people would have when they were told they had to answer her before Kethric found out anything. It was almost like a high that she did not want to come down from. As long as she could forget everything before she came all the way to this region, she was happy. She didn’t have to think about Bhaal, she didn’t have to worry about Orin, and she didn’t have to remember all her failures here. She was finally getting a taste of what it was like to be like her brother. He was the right hand man for everything, while she always came in second, the last resort if he failed. However, she would be better than him. She wouldn’t let the power get to her head. She would do this the way she was trained to do it.
Wendigo and General Thorm were in the throne room. There were goblins there that failed to bring a 'true soul' here, and along with them, just not following orders. The goblins were pleading, trying to make there case, as Wendigo stood there at attention, waiting for her next command for what she needed to do. Standing there by where General Thorm was sitting on his throne, Wendigo commanded the three goblins before her to speak about how they failed to do such a simple task that was supposed to be carried out. A simple task that a child could've handled on their own.
"I did as I was told! Followed every order that was given-"
"The facts suggest otherwise. You were ordered to retrieve the artifact- you failed to do so."
Wendigo cut off the goblin that was trying to plead her case. She sounded cold, commanding like a solider. All she knew, based on the information given to her, was that these goblins failed to carry out a task given by the Kethric.
"Take that up with Minthara! She was the one who-"
"Enough!"
Wendigo stepped forward from where she was standing, still holding her place near the General. It looked like she was daring the goblin to continue speaking. It would be satisfying to see their tongues cut out of their mouths, or maybe ripping out their vocal chords would be a better punishment
"You failed to retrieve the artifact; you failed to protect your True Soul-"
"NYX!!"
A familiar voice echoed throughout the throne room. Wendigo saw a man stepping forward as she was about to continue to tear into the goblins about their failures, only to see the man stopped in his tracks by a pale elf with white hair and red eyes.
“A vampire? Way out here ?”
She thought as she looked at the group that just interrupted what was happening. She looked up at the person who spoke her name. Only one person would know it unless-
"Creed..."
She whispered under her breath. She just wanted to run up to him and hug her brother, but she didn’t understand why he called her by her birth name. Was this a trick ? Is he just playing one of his stupid games to make everyone doubt her? She was confused by everything in this moment. Who were the others he was traveling with outside of the pale elf ? Who was the human traveling with him? Were there others? She hesitated to speak, but her hesitation didn't go unnoticed as she saw Kethric rise from his throne.
"Is there a problem, Wendigo? "
She took a deep breath in, and soon enough, her facade was replaced by the cold, heartless person she was moments before. She straightened her posture and held her chin high.
"No, General."
"Good. We are too close to the ending and the new beginning. I can coddle failure no longer. Kill them. Quickly."
Kethric commanded, and with that, the goblins started getting mad. How cute they think they can take him Soon enough, with all the yelling, one of the goblins threw a harbringer at Kethric. Wendigo had to hold back a laugh because everyone who didn't know Kethric's little secret was about to witness that he couldn't be killed. Not that easily, but of course Wendigo knew the source of his power.
Once the harbringer made contact with Kethric’s chest, he fell back into his throne, but he soon got back up and ripped it out of his chest like it was nothing. He walked over to the goblin that threw the weapon at him, dropped it at his feet, and with a blink of an eye, the goblin was dead. The room fell silent for a moment before Kethric spoke up once more.
"Dispose of the rest as you see fit, or take advantage of our surprise guest. Regardless, I'm sure the results will send a clear message to the troops on the importance of discipline."
He looked over at Wendigo to make sure she understood.
"Of course. It will be handled."

Hello everyone! After some convincing, and help from friends I decided I should start sharing with you all a project I've been working on ^-^ Some things to know before getting into the story : - This will be a multi part story -Please read trigger warnings before reading -feel free to give me feedback and ideas ! Word Count : 1,605 TW: talks of ed 。゚☁︎。⋆。 ゚☾ ゚。⋆⋆。゚☁︎。⋆。 ゚☾ ゚。⋆⋆。゚☁︎。⋆。 ゚☾ ゚。⋆⋆。゚☁︎。⋆。 ゚☾ ゚。⋆⋆。゚☁︎。 pt 1. Can you keep a secret ? Life as a teenager shouldn't be that difficult, right? Just kids going to school, hanging out with their friends, or even attending parties with their peers. Kids these days have it easier than what their parents had to deal with, at least that's what almost every parent says in an argument when their kids are being brats; or if they are being disrespectful. The Rivers were what many people in the city of Phoenix considered a perfect family. Kyle River was the man of the house after marrying Melanie Johnson. He decided to follow in his Father's Footsteps by becoming a well-known lawyer for winning any case brought to him. He always gave off the appearance of being a family man just by the way he would act around kids. Always made children's smile, and laugh everywhere he went. This caught the eye of a waitress at a local Diner after witnessing Kyle help a single dad calm a saddened baby, but little did she know he's been having a small crush on her so during his last year of Law School he decided to spend most of his nights getting to know the waitress. Melanie Johnson was just a simple girl, but she can never afford to attend college to achieve her dreams. She had spent the majority of her teenage years working part-time jobs to make ends meet; but after meeting Kyle she didn't have to worry any longer about where she would get her next meal. After some time the two of them got married, and decided to start a small family. After their baby was born Melanie became a stay-at-home mom but once their child became more independent Kyle was able to get Melanie a job at the law firm he worked at as a receptionist. The couple spent hours trying to come up with a name for their baby girl, until Melanie decided to name her baby after one of her favorite trees, Aspen. Aspen trees are known to be graceful along with their delicate leaves that shake when the wind would blow. while always looking beautiful all year round. As their daughter grew up, she started to look more like her mother mostly through physical appearance with her thick, light, auburn hair, crystal blue eyes, and freckles that spotted her face.

She honestly did not want to get up, but when she read the time she knew if she didn’t get up now she would be late. So, after a few pep talks to convince herself to finally leave the comfort of her bed, she got up and dragged herself to her closet to find some clothes for the day. Her wardrobe was mostly earthy tones and muted colored sweaters and jeans ranging from skinny to boyfriend styles. Today she just went with a beige pullover, and baggy mom jeans that she would roll the bottom of the pants leg to come up to her ankles while pairing it with a pair of worn out black converse. After changing, she walked over to her full body mirror so that she could brush her hair, grunting every now and then when the brush would catch on a knot. She sighed as she looked at herself in the mirror seeing how frizzy her hair was, and not liking how it looked when it wasn’t pulled up into an updo of some kind; so she decided to put it up into a messy bun. She wasn’t one to care for looks, but she always thought if she was comfortable, why bother changing ? Well, it was the excuse she would always use, but she knew the real reason behind wanting to wear the clothes she did on a daily basis. Once she was dressed, she grabbed her backpack that always felt like it had boulders in it from all the books she had to carry around for classes, she then started heading to the front door. As soon as her hand reached for the handle she heard a familiar voice from behind her. “Aren’t you going to eat something before you hightail it out of here for the day ?” It was her dad, honestly she thought she waited long enough for both of her parents to be out of the house. She spent weeks learning what time her parents went to bed or left the house for work so she wouldn’t have to see them until she got home from school. “I’m running late dad. Margo is sick and can’t pick me up, so I kinda have to…you know” Aspen was lying, she always walked to school. She was able to get her hand on the handle and turn it before her dad voiced his plan to make her stay longer in the house. “I’ll take you to school. Now come on, sit, have breakfast.”
Her dad was being overly nice this morning. What is he up to ? she thought. She had a bad feeling in the pit of her stomach. He was never this nice unless he wanted something, and all she wanted to do was bolt straight out the door, but she tried to ignore that feeling, but she couldn’t bring herself to let her guard down. Her dad went back to the kitchen to grab a small, porcelain plate that had a couple strips of bacon and possibly two eggs, and placed the white plate on the table. Aspen looked at where her dad placed it and anxious thoughts started forming in her head again. She always had the feeling that her dad might know about her daily eating habits that just mostly consist of coffee, gum, and sometimes tea, but she hated the idea of food. It just constantly made her feel guilty every single time she accidentally ate too much, or constantly had the fear of losing control, but she had more reasons to not want to be around her dad.She took a deep breath in and exhaled before she answered her dad.
"I- okay…”
She didn’t want to say anything. She just wanted to walk out of the door, but she was more worried about what would happen if she went against her dad more than she already did. Would he tell her mom ? Would he get angry ? Question after question roamed her mind as she made her way to the table and sat in the chair that was by the plate that was placed down. The smell of the eggs flooded her nostrils, and already she felt sick to her stomach and wanted to just run away; but she just tried to not breathe through her nose. Maybe then she could at least try to make her dad happy. Her dad handed her a fork, and she tried to avoid touching her dad’s hand; but he had made it impossible to do so because when she grabbed the fork one of her fingers had brushed across his skin. She could see that he looked down at her when he felt her icy hand touch his, and that’s how he knew she wasn’t getting any better. She never once made eye contact with him because of the underlying fear that she felt that if she did look up at him he would take it as a sign that she was trying to stand up for herself, and she honestly did not want that to happen and risk a fight before school.
She looked down at her plate just using the fork to pick at the fluffy eggs that were to the left. She tensed up when she heard the chair from the other side of the table being scooted out. It was just her father moving the chair so he could sit down with his plate of food. She would glance up for a moment before her gaze went back to look at the food on the table. Almost anyone that would walk into the room could feel the tension that was in the air between Aspen and her father. The entire time she was at the table, she was trying to see if there would be an opportunity to just ditch the food, and just dart out through the door; but unfortunately it just felt like her dad could read her mind, and he wasn’t going to let her leave the table anytime soon.
“You could at least act like I'm a decent cook ya know.”
Her dad broke the silence between the two with his statement. Aspen didn’t honestly care if the food was good or not. She just didn’t want to be in this house any longer. Before Aspen responded to her dad she had two thoughts in mind. Either she was going to just ignore her dad’s stupid comment, or she was just going to put up a mask; and act like she actually tolerates him. She knew what the right response was, but she honestly wanted to just speak up and say something.
“It’s not that I’m just…not hungry” She spoke quietly. She wasn’t even at school, but she already felt anxious about every little thing. After she said that she could hear the metal fork hit the porcelain white plate that caused her flinch; and that’s when she knew she shouldn’t have said that. All she thought about was how the hell was she going to get out of this situation.

Howdy! I've finally had time to work on the next part of the story about my friend and I's tavs from BG3! This is part 4 and it is going to broken into smaller parts just because of how big I am planning this part to be. Hope you enjoy! WC:728 Previous part here!
Astarion rolled his eyes after Wendigo, or Nyx, walked away from them. Honestly, it was confusing trying to keep up with everything that has happened in the weeks he has traveled with Creed. He loved the display of power from the female wizard, but if this was the same woman Creed talked about in camp, he wasn’t amused. “You gotta be joking...that's the Nyx you've told me about? This—this person that you talked so highly about that would take a blade for you in battle?” Creed was so lost in his own thoughts that he didn’t even hear what Astarion was saying. He thought he knew who his sister was, but did his memory betray him? Was she truly gone? Creed refused to believe whatever Nyx did was just a pure display of power. She would never just kill people without a reason. “There’s something else happening here...besides the obvious—Nyx isn’t like this I-” “It’s been months since you’ve seen her. People change, darling.” Astarion interrupted Creed. Deep down, Creed knew that already. He knew people could change because he had seen it within the group he travels with, but it didn’t change the fact that this was his sister. He wanted to know why she turned so cold and heartless.
“You're right…” It was hard to admit that Astarion was right, but there was no point in arguing about it right now. They had to meet up with her at some point, finish their journey here, and continue the road to Baulder’s Gate.
They restocked on supplies and tried to avoid talking to many people, so they didn’t run the risk of blowing their cover. Then they went to meet Nyx outside, where she told them she would be. When Creed saw her, he noticed how easy it was for her to blend in with the others. She didn’t even look phased by everything going on here, and the way people would look at her with fear was rather a beautiful sight, but Creed would never admit those thoughts out loud. He had his own secrets and holes in his memories, so maybe now that he found his sister, she could give him some form of closure; maybe make him realize he’s not much different than her. Maybe once this is all over, she will be willing to put those pieces together, but there’s always a fine line between hopefulness and naivety. Before Nyx saw Creed’s party approaching her, she quickly put a dark violet fabric into her pocket. That didn’t go unnoticed by Astarion, but he wouldn’t bring it up. They were all ready to head out on their mission to help Nyx just keep up the appearance of True Souls. Creed saw how she picked up a lantern that glowed with a beautiful light. Almost like a full moon. “You’ll need this to protect all of you from the shadows.” Creed took the lantern while still trying to resist the urge to ask why they needed it, but quickly remembered that anyone who doesn’t have the Moon maiden’s blessing, or anyone who is a follower of Shar, couldn’t walk freely in the shadows. He could see how Nyx quickly gave it over. Did she feel so disgusted by how Creed changed, or was she afraid of him? This seemingly powerful woman being afraid of him was never a thought that had crossed his mind. “Where exactly are we going?”
Creed asked the question they all wanted to know. The only information they were given was that Nyx needed to find this guy named Baltazar. “There’s a Grand Mausoleum located about north-west of here; there’s an entrance to the Temple of Shar, where supposedly Baltazar last was ordered to go.” “Temple of Shar? Shadowheart would’ve had a field day if she were here…” Creed thought to himself. Shadowheart was told to stay in camp by the others until they found information about the Nightsong, but after finding Nyx, plans had to change. He can handle Shadowheart being mad at him, but working with someone who is supposedly on the enemy side could lead to some complications. Shadowheart would’ve tried to talk Creed out of even doing all of this, and maybe she would’ve been right, but he needed answers. He needed to know what happened to the sister he remembered.
“Alright… lead the way.”
