How is your story going?

good! it might take a few more days for the first chapter to be published (I am writing on quotev) because of a whole lot of writing block, but I'm pretty sure I'll get some inspiration eventually!

When I was a kid I associated with the term ‘tomboy’ a lot because I didn’t want to be seen as feminine. Gender ideals had always felt restrictive to me so my 7-year-old rationale was along the lines of ‘tomboys get to do boy stuff while also being girls, so that means if I become a tomboy I can be whatever I want!’

It probably also had something to do with being autistic and unable to relate to the other girls around me or feel included in their gendered social dynamics. The shared experiences and community of being a girl was never something I was a part of, so I sought out something else on my own.

Finding out what being Agender is was honestly really freeing. I can define my identity to myself and pick out my relationships without having to conform to or oppose gender attributes and stereotypes. I’m not a woman or a man or another specified gender, I’m an autistic artist and a bunch of other things too :D

Omg yes! Especially if one ship is considered more 'canon' than another, people will use that to bash other ships and act like theirs is the only right choice? Like. if you really hate the ship just block the tags? just respect peoples opinions, it doesn't matter what ships they like

Tbh the problem with ship wars is that everyone tries to find a moral high ground to prove their ship is superior when actually shipping should be about making two characters kiss like a kid playing with barbie dolls
