Why Papyrus should be a FireFighter

He has a heroic spirit, and is a genuinely brave person, who wouldn’t think twice about risking his life to save others.

He has a very soothing presence, and I feel like he would be able to bring a person who had experienced something upsetting or traumatising, down to earth and keep them grounded

He would be so great at rescuing cats that are stuck in trees, he’s like 8 foot tall, HES THE SIZE OF THE TREE

I feel like he would get burnt out if he became a chef, and he should keep cooking as a hobby instead of choosing it as his career

Although being a firefighter is physically and mentally challenging , I think Papyrus would rise to the challenge and succeed with flying colours because he trained under UNDYE! With her even saying, that’s he’s incredibly strong !

And mentally, he’s determined and resilient !!

Also I think he would be so good at driving the fire truck !!! HIS WHOLE VIBE IS RED, IT JUST FITS!!!

As well as that, when firefighters arrive on a scene, they need to assess the situation and come up with a solution QUICKLY and I feel like that lines up with Papyrus’ puzzle making and solving skills, AMAZINGLY !!

I also think being a firefighter aligns with his goal of being a royal guard. It’s seen as a noble service to your community, (which it is) and I do think he would enjoy kids looking up to him, and if he was told by a child that they want to be just like him when they grow up, that is something he would take great pride in

So yea , stop infantilising Papyrus AND MAKE HIM A FIREFIGHTER

(Also plz think about him having a Dalmatian puppy he raises himself to be a part of the firefighter team and the shenanigans that would ensue!)

Papyrus is most likely a young adult and this is supported by evidence in the game itself

Because I’m still stewing over people claiming that Papyrus is canonically 14 years old I’m putting together a list of things that imply Papyrus has to be AT LEAST 18, if not older.

He does not wear a striped shirt like kids do in Undertale

He’s literally driving a car at the end of the True Pacifist route

The Royal Guard would have to be seriously fucked up to even consider allowing a young teenager into its ranks

Going along with the last one, if Papyrus were only 14, why would Undyne beat around the bush pretending that cooking is training when she could just tell him he’s too young for the guard right now?

Papyrus’s UnderNet username is “CoolSkeleton95.” Numbers in usernames usually refer to birth years a good chunk of the time. If we assume that the main story of Undertale takes place in 2115, Papyrus would have been born in 2095, which makes him AT LEAST 20 years old.

Correct me if I’m wrong about this, but I believe it’s implied or stated that Papyrus keeps house? If he IS only 14, I’d have to seriously side-eye Sans for making his kid brother do all the housework.

Undertale: Half full or half empty?

Frisk: Half full.

Flowey: Half empty.

Toriel: Her experiences say half empty, but she wants to believe it's half full.

Sans: Can't decide. He wants to believe it's half full, but his mind is more compelled to think half empty. He flips it upside down. Doesn't help much. Is it full? Empty? Someone please help him... Sleeps.
