Hermit-a-day May Day 1: Impulse

I'm a little late cuse I had a final today and will continue to untill next week, but I technically finished this drawing before midnight so I'm still counting it!

It's a crime how far away Impulse and Skizz are from each other on the prompt list lol

Trying to learn how to draw backgrounds: Day 1

Not bad, I think the brush I used was too soft which makes it hard have clean distinctions from each building, similar problem with the colors/gradient map, but in terms of a background I'm pretty happy with it. It's not even close to my style, which is something I have to work on

Just as the title says, I'm working on a Mumbo animatic to the song Lifetime Achievement Award by Lemon Demon. I'm pretty busy and am running out of ideas, you if you have any please tell me 🙏

When I was concepting for my mumbo animatic (still working on it) I got sidetracked and decided to draw out his base. Despite the fact that I can't draw landscapes. Or buildings. Or water. Or any background elements. I also don't know colors....

It's not the best, and if you have any constructive criticism, I'd be happy to take it!

I finally had the time to draw my MOTW (Monster of the Week) player character! Meet Juno Thomson, Playbook The Flake

The TDLR of her character is that she is an online conspiracy theorist that goes too hard, like how in a world of supernatural beings, I'm talking about lizzard people and how all birds are drones.

The gist of the campaign is that we are a group of 2008 ghost hunting youtubers traveling in a van to film supernatural sightings.

Atlantisia Art Contest Entry

My entry for Sparkbirds' art/video contest! I think I might edit a few more things so this isn't my final submission, but I hope you like it.

I went through quite a journey editing this, so if you want to hear my tales of woe, click below

I had to use three different editing programs cuse one I downloaded just for this and did all of the layering and stuff, but as I went to export it apparently like all of the assets I used were premium despite not having any indicators whatsoever, and I didn't feel like doing the entire thing all over again, so what I decided to do was to screen recorded the playback viewfinder in the editing UI, and then dump that into a different editing program to crop and trim it. The audio got messed up but considering I had an mp3 file of it I just added that into the other editing program as well. That's not even including that artwork which had me doing multiple thumbnails, renders for the bird, trying to figure out anatomy, and a fully rendered piece with everything in separate layers. And I also did value thumbnails for some reason?? It worked out well but idk why I did it I've never done that before. I rarely thumbnail as it is. I'm writing this at 2 am, BTW, and I think I started it around like 8?

Also just a little detail that I like that no one will notice is that all of the colors are color-picked from the Atlantisia and Mayday cover art. There is some messing with values, layer modes, gradient maps, and stuff, but all of the base colors came from the albums. I'm just info-dumping at this point. I'm tired.

The Magnus Archives Show Fanart Meme

Saw this meme template (blank one below) and wanted to try do it with the Magnus Archives as it's coming back as a major hyperfixation. It took me a while to figure out who would go where, and idk if Gerry counts, but regardless am relly proud of how the art turned out!

For clarification, Jon is my favorite, I relate to Melanie (likes girls, youtube, and anger issues), Gerry has my favorite design, Basira is CRIMANLY underrated, I would get along with Tim (specifically season 1), and The Admiral is my new religion, so yeah
