Of course they're not nice humans. If you don't like dark fantasy and vampires just leave the fandom then. I like them since im 15 years old lol. So the MC is 17, okay so? I love the story, the dark themes and the great writing and character developments. The Diaboys are amazing tbh, absolute favourite vampires.
