Talking is the key here. If you wanna form a new friendship just have a chat and hope they'll like you. If not, just know not to feel that bad about it, not everyone is going to like you. So it isn't the end of the world if someone doesn't.
But if you for example don't know how to talk to someone just treat them with respect. Talk about yourself, talk about them, ask them questions about, for example, their hobbies. Don't just talk about yourself.
And if things aren't going well between you and a (new or old) friend talk it out, may e give them some space first but, talk to them. There's (almost) always a reason behind their anger/coldness.
What's a genuinely good advice that y'all followed or wanna give when it comes to forming friendships?
I'm really into the whole humans are weird trope, and I know I'm like years overdue.
Humans are distinct in our ability to throw objects, especially with the speed, strength and precision we throw them with. We are the only species on earth that can throw like that.
It's even scientifically impossible for us to be able to throw. It's not even controlled in our brains because that would be too slow. It's controlled in the muscles in our arms, we do it without even thinking about it.
Just imagine a human a pen into the trash 3 meters away, and aliens being so confused.
