I've been trying out some digital art recently
------
As we sped through the forest, I could faintly hear the shouts of my sister for help. My right eye burned, similarly to how it had earlier that day. I was scared, not for myself but for Mable.
Questions and worries flooded my brain. What if Norman really was a zombie? What if my sister was getting eaten alive at that very moment? Did I just get my sister killed by letting her go out on that date? I'm such a horrible sister. What will I tell mom, dad, and Grunkle Stan?
As we approached the clearing where the noise was coming from, my eyes widened. Dipper sputtered in confusion at what we were seeing. "The more you struggle, the more awkward this is gonna be.. just, okay, just get her arm, Steve." Shouted a little bearded man from a mossy rock. In front of him, was Mable, surrounded by more tiny men.
"Let go of me!" She retaliated, punching one of them in them face then kicking him away. He landed near some rocks where be began to throw up a rainbow. Dipper and I exited the car, standing before the small crowd.
"What the heck's going on here?" My brother asked, confused. The gnome from before hissed at us before returning to his brethren. "Guys! Norman turned out to be a bunch of gnomes and they're total jerks!"
"Gnomes..? I murmured, realizing that I was right all along as the burning in my eye subsided. Dipper checked out the page in the journal, reading aloud that they had no known weakness. "Oh, great!" Groaned Mable from her spot on the ground, where she was now tied down like that one scene in Night At the Museum.
"Let our sister go." I demanded and the gnome in front of me turned around to face us. "Oh, well. Hi! Sorry, this is all just a big misunderstanding. You see, she's going to marry all 1,000 of us and become our queen for all of eternity. Well, that is, unless you want to take her place?" He said, looking up at me. "You are a more suitable candidate, after all you are older than she is. She's only a last resort if I'm being honest and even then we'd wait till she was of age before doing anything. I mean, we aren't that creepy." I glared at him. "As much as I appreciate your honesty and the fact that you guys don't want to be pedophiles, you won't be marrying either of us."
"Yeah! You're all a bunch of butt faces!" Mabel shouted before one of her captors covered her mouth. "Listen, you don't want to mess with us gnomes. You two don't know what we're capable of. We're a powerful race so do not trifle with-" He was interrupted by Dipper easily scooping him up with a shovel and tossing him away. We ran forward, knocking away the other gnomes and cutting the bindings easily with the shovel's edge.
I picked Mable up and the three of us ran to the golf cart. "Seat belts." I reminded them before reversing and speeding out of the clearing. We could faintly hear the shouts of the gnomes behind us. "Hurry, before they catch us!" Shouted Mable and Dipper patted her on the shoulder. "I wouldn't worry about it. Did you see their little legs? Those suckers are tiny."
A roar from behind us drew the twins's attention away and their eyes widened. "(Y/n)!! DRIVE FASTER!!" I looked in the side view mirror and was shocked to see a giant sized gnome monster. "Dipper! Does that journal of yours say anything about the gnomes being able to do THAT?!"
"Checking!" He said, flipping through the pages of the book as I swerved and tried to dodge incoming gnome attacks. Unfortunately some got on the roof and tried climbing down for an attack. Mable punched one in the face, Dipper whacked one with the journal, and I slammed one into the steering wheel before throwing him away. "Nothing in here, sis! I don't think the author knew about it!" Said Dipper, finally finding the page.
I let out a yelp as a gnome that landed on the hood of the cart tried to attack me. I dodged but he attacked Dipper's face instead, my brother screaming in panic. "I'll save you. Dipper!" Exclaimed Mable as she repeatedly punched the offender in the side. He finally flew out of the cart, but took Dipper's star hat with him. "Thanks, Mable.." He said, his rolling slightly to the side, a little stunned after taking some damage meant for the gnome. "Don't mention it"
Behind us, we heard the giant grunt with effort, as well as the sound of ruffling leaves. A shadow passed over us and my eyes widened as a whole tree, complete with roots crashed onto the path ahead of us. "Hang on!" I swerved the cart and it drifted underneath the fallen tree, and spun dangerously before coming to a complete halt in front of the Mystery Shack.
Dipper leapt out of the vehicle and faced the monster with the shovel from before. I held the bat in my hands, standing beside him and in front of my sister. "Stay back!" the male twin shouted, throwing the shovel at the monster who promptly punched in down into the ground. Our eyes widened and I grabbed Dipper's shoulder, bringing him behind me too. "Where's Grunkle Stan?" He asked, holing onto his sister in fright. Indeed, he was no where to be found.
"It's the end of the line, kids." Said the head gnome, at the very top of the monster. "You, Mable's sister, marry us before we do something crazy." My right eye began to burn even more and Mable grabbed my hand, taking the bat away. "I have an idea." I somehow understood what she meant and nodded, stepping forward. "Fine, I'll do it. Just leave my family alone."
"What?! (Y/n), are you crazy? There's gotta be another way!" Panicked Dipper, taking the journal out of his vest. "Trust me. I've got it all under control." I said, smiling softly and petting his fluffy hair. He nodded sadly and he and Mable stood away from me. "She'll do it, Jeff. (Y/n) will marry you."
'His name is Jeff?'
"Hot dog!" Said the gnome happily, ordering the others to let him down. "Also, (Y/n)! That's a pretty name! I like it!" He walked in front of me, not noticing how my siblings disappeared from their original positions. Jeff held out a leather box with a shining diamond ring inside. He motioned to his mouth, indicating that he wanted me to kiss him. I felt nauseated but shook my head, offering my left hand. He slid the jewelry onto my ring finger with a smile. "Batta Bing Batta Bam! Now let's get you back into the forest, Honey."
I laughed softly. "You may now kiss the bride." The gnome stopped and looked back at me. "Well, don't mind if I do." He puckered up and I pretended to lean in, only for Mable to switch on the hidden leaf blower beside me in a pile of leaves. Jeff's eyes widened as I pointed it at him threateningly. "Woah, woah hey, what's going on here?" He said in panic as he was sucked into the leaf blower. I handed it to my sister with a smirk.
"That's for lying to me!" She announced, glaring at the captured creature who looked back at her with fear. She switched the leaf blower into reverse.
"This is for breaking my heart." The gnome yelped in pain as the suction got to him, the pressure building till it was like a balloon ready to burst.
"And this is for messing with m family!" She pointed to the gnome monster who let out a collective gasp. "Do you wanna do the honors?"
"On three!" Dipper announced, holding onto a leaver on the device. "One.. Two.. Three!!" We chanted as he shoved the lever to 'F' an Jeff went flying into the giant, making it explode into a thousand gnomes. "AHHH!! I'LL GET YOU FOR THIS!!" The leader screamed as he flew away into the forest with the remaining momentum. The result was chaos. Gnomes sat in piles, wondering who was going to give them orders and complaining about being sore. Mable used the leaf blower, making them yell and run for the forest in fear. One ended up getting caught in some trash which was picked up the local goat, Gompers.
I walked over to the creature, who's captive was screaming in panic. I held the goat in place and gently released the gnome before taking off the ring and handing it to him. "Here, take this back to Jeff. I don't need it." He nodded before running away into the brush. Looking back, I noticed Dipper and Mable heading back into the shack. I caught up to them but Mable stopped us.
"Um.. hey guys. I'm.. uh.. I'm sorry for ignoring your guys's advice. You really were just looking out for me."
"Hey don't be like that," reassured Dipper. "You totally saved our butts back there."
"I guess I'm just sad that my first boyfriend turned out to be a bunch of gnomes."
"Look on the bright side. Maybe your next boyfriend will be a vampire."
The two of them laughed. "Awkward sibling hug?" The male twin offered and she nodded. "Awkward sibling hug." They embraced, ending it off with a "pat pat" which made me smile. "Oh yeah, I almost forgot. (Y/n), thanks for almost marrying Jeff to protect us. I'm sorry for what I said before. I really thought you would accept my new boyfriend and when you didn't I was really hurt."
"It's okay, Shooting Star. I know you didn't mean it. Plus, after what all we've been through today, I think we both know we forgive each other. Just don't go expecting me to "get engaged" to any of your next summer romances. I'm not ready for that kind of commitment." Mable giggled and we headed into the shop.
"Yeesh, what happened to you three? Did you get hit by a bus or something?" Grunkle Stan laughed and we rolled our eyes, heading for the stair way. There was a moment of silence before he called out to us. "Hey wait. Uh.. we happened to accidentally get too much merch in stock so.. how about you guys pick something out for yourselves. On the house, y'know?"
"Really?" Mable and I said in shock. "What's the catch?" questioned Dipper. "The catch is pick something out before I change my mind." Replied our Grunkle Stan. Mable rushed around, looking at every single thing. Dipper walked over to a row of blue and white hats with pine trees on them. "This should do the trick." He said with a smile, looking at himself in the mirror. Mable gasped and rummaged through a box of books. "I'll chose a..." she spun around and I assumed she chose a pink one to be a diary but she opened her arms to reveal a "GRAPPLING HOOK!" she exclaimed.
Grunkle Stan, Dipper, and I all looked at each other in confusion. "Aren't you gonna pick out a doll or something?"
"GRAPPLING HOOK!" She exclaimed again, shooting it and hanging from a ceiling beam. "Fair enough." Laughed Grunkle Stan as the kids ran off to their room. I looked over toward the a case of jewelry. I walked over and noticed a beautiful necklace. I took it out of the case and hung it around my heck. It fit perfectly.
Grunkle Stan looked at me with a small smirk. "I'm surprised you picked that one out, kid. It's been in the shop for such a long time I was partially convinced no one would take it." I looked down at the charm and I smiled as I began to leave the room. "I'm not entirely sure myself why I chose it, but I did and I don't regret it. G'night Grunkle Stan."
-(3rd Person)-
Dipper lay down on his bed, writing on an empty page in the journal. Mable jumped up and down on the twin bed parallel to his, laughing at her own antics and giddy with her new tool.
'The journal told me there was no one in Gravity Falls I could trust. But when you battle a hundred gnomes with people by your side, you realize that they've probably got your back."
Outside, on the roof, sat (Y/n), her (h/c) hair flowing behind her in the breeze. An (e/c) eye scanned the horizon while the second one was hidden from the world behind a black eye patch. She waved to Grunkle Stan, who was finishing closing up shop, before climbing back through her bedroom window, shutting it behind her.
'Our Uncle told us that there was nothing strange about this town, but who knows what other secrets are waiting to be unlocked?'
I have so much respect for people who write Wilford Warfstache x reader fan fictions all the time. Like, omgosh he's such a difficult character to write for. I was requested to write a one shot for him and I've been struggling the past 5 days to come up with the right scenario. And then to put the new scene into words???
OOOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHHHHH BOY
I love the pink mustached psycho as much as the next person, but how in the world do you accurately capture his character in a written story and have it make sense???
Doppio x Reader - My Darling
It would be any day now. Trish had been handed over into the care of a gang and was now traveling with them to Rome. When they eventually arrived, they would all die by the boss's hands, even his own daughter.
Doppio knew this. He knew many things but mostly this and he hated it. He did care about Trish, he really did, but there was nothing he could do about it. She was doomed to die, along with those who swore to protect her. The boss never failed a task. He was the leader of the Italian mafia after all.
"Doppio," came a soft voice from the doorway to his study. "What's wrong? You're positively shaking." This voice belonged to (Y/n), Doppio's darling and his wife, the mother of Trish. "N-nothing." He replied, turning around to see her. "Nothing is wrong. It's just. uhh... the stress of finding a new capo. Since Polpo died, we haven't found anyone to replace him."
(Y/n) sat down, frowning. "You and I both know that's a lie. It doesn't take that much effort or time to give someone a promotion to capo. What's actually wrong? Is it Trish? Did something happen?"
Doppio couldn't tell her. He couldn't reveal to his darling wife that their only daughter was on a hit list and was doomed to die. It would break both of their hearts.
"No. Trish is fine, I promise." He took (Y/n)'s hands into his own, trying to reassure both of them that everything would turn out okay. "I'm sorry. Trish is on her way to Rome, but I just don't want you to worry about her and-"
A soft hand on his cheek stopped him.
Doppio looked his wife in the eyes as she smiled at him. "You're worried about her safety just like I am. You don't need to carry that burden alone." She hugged him, nuzzling his neck affectionately. "Trish is a strong girl. I'm sure she'll be fine. She is our daughter after all."
Doppio smiled nodding as he embraced the woman he loved. "You're right. I'm sure Trish will be - DOTRUTRUTRUTRU!" He stopped himself as he felt a call incoming. Looking around for the "phone", he found it in the form of a hardcover copy of Great Expectations.
"Hello? Boss?" Behind him, (Y/n) sighed, missing the warmth of her husband already. She understood that Doppio couldn't ignore the call of his boss, but that didn't mean it wasn't annoying and usually had bad timing.
She also understood that when she married Doppio, she also married the boss, Diavolo.
Doppio left the room, (Y/n) not able to pick up on what they were saying. This did nothing to sooth her worry about her daughter. Her husband wasn't really supposed to reveal too much information to her as it put her in danger. If Trish was in danger, Doppio wouldn't be allowed to say very much about it.
(Y/n)'s stand, Pink Floyd, appeared, consoling her user. "She's in danger. I can feel it." The Mrs. said, feeling down. Her stand said nothing, hugging (Y/n) from behind and as she leaned into the spirit's touch, Doppio returned.
"Dearest, the boss needs me to travel to Rome. I'm going to meet Trish and her companions there." Pink Floyd dissapeared and (Y/n) smiled. "I'm so glad! That means she'll be home soon." She said this but couldn't ignore the sinking feeling pooling in her stomach.
Doppio smiled happily and nodded, but it seemed fake. "I need to pack and leave in the morning. Will you help me?" (Y/n) nodded and left with him to their shared bedroom.
The next day, the lovers tearfully parted ways. (Y/n) waved goodbye as Doppio drove away, heading for the airport. "I'll tell him when he comes back." She thought, placing a hand on her stomach and walking back into the house.
Days later, there was a knock on the door. (Y/n) excitedly opened the door to reveal a pink haired woman. "Trish!" She exclaimed, hugging her daughter however, this excitement quickly faded. "Where's your father?" (Y/n) had noticed that Trish had come in a taxi that was now driving away.
The pinkette looked away, her eyes filling with tears. "I.. he.. the Boss, Diavolo.. he tried to kill us. They're both dead, mom.."
(Y/n) dropped to the ground. Her darling Doppio was gone. Tears fell, unable to be stopped. That night, (Y/n) lay in her bed, alone, yearning for the embrace of her husband. "I'll take care of them. I'll take care of your children, Darling. I promise."
As she murmured this and fell asleep, (Y/n) could've swore she felt the airy embrace of Doppio hugging her from behind just like he loved to do.
Bill Cipher x reader (2)- Creator and Demon

~(Y/n)'s POV~
As Uncle Stanley led us through the house, I couldn't help but look around at the weird stuff. It was clearly a very used living space, well worn by many years. And decorated by many curiosities. It was rather unnerving to be honest.
"Well kids, this is where you'll be staying for the summer. By the way, you can call me Grunkle Stan." Said our relative, leading us up a flight of stairs to some rooms. "This room will be for the twins," he said, pointing to a room with a large triangle shaped window and two beds. "And this room," said Grunkle Stan opening a door to a room with only one bed and a rectangle shaped window, "will be yours, uhhh..." he look at me guiltily. "Sorry, I guess I didnt get your names."
"It's fine," I said nonchalantly, "I'm (Y/n), and these are my younger siblings, Dipper and Mable Pines." Grunkle Stan smiled and nodded, "Alright then, (Y/n), this will be your room. I assumed since you're older you'd want a room to yourself." I couldn't help but smile at his generosity, "Thanks."
After separating to our different rooms and getting unpacked I suggested the idea of getting familiar with the town. Mable was all for it and Dipper shrugged. "Sure. Why not." Grunkle Stan agreed to go with us because he needed groceries anyway.
I would be lying if I said I didn't like the town. I really didn't get attached to the place all at once and with good reason. The people there were really nice but they gave me the willies. Just something about this town and its citizens was off. Like there was something huge I was missing
I would be lying if I said I didn't like the town. I really didn't get attached to the place all at once and with good reason. The people there were really nice but they gave me the willies. Just something about this town and its citizens was off. Like there was something huge I was missing... but what?
When Grunkle Stan was finally done, we headed back to the Mystery Shack. As days flew by, we learned a little bit more about our new residence. The mystery shack was a Self-Made tourist trap made by Grunkle Stan and guess who needed to earn their keep around the place. That's right, Us.
I grew increasingly bored with the same old pattern of stocking shelves, sweeping the floors, and keeping Mable away from all the boys her age that came into the shack. Dipper also was worked really hard, and Mable? Not so much. She seemed to have all the free time in the world. That's what you get for acting positive and cute all the time.
"Mable," said Dipper as he washed a jar of (hopefully) fake eyeballs, "I know you're going through your whole Boy-Crazy phase, but I think you're overdoing it with the crazy part." Mable looked away from the boy she was watching. "What?? Naww. Come on Dipper, this is our first summer away from home! It's my big chance at an epic summer romance." Dipper and I looked at her like she was crazy. "But do you HAVE to flirt with every guy you meet?" I shivered at the memories.
"Mock all you want guys," she said, shaking a finger, "but I've got a good feeling about this summer. I wouldn't be surprised if the man of my dreams walked through that door right now." As she pointed toward the door she spoke of, Grunkle Stan walked through carrying some wooden signs and let out a loud belch.
A disappointed and disgusted Mable let out a groan as Dipper and I laughed. "Aright look alive people," said Grunkle Stan, "I need someone to go and hammer these signs around the spooky part of the forest." One by one, Mable, Dipper, and I said "Not it." The handyman in the back said, "Uh, also not it" as well. "Nobody asked you Soos." Said the old man, as Soos looked up from his work. "I know, and I'm comfortable with that." He took a happy bite from his chocolate bar.
For Yugi, life was getting boring. He had recently earned himself the title of King of Games thanks to his spirit friend Yami, and his friend, Joey, was finally going to be able to pay for his sister's eye surgery. However, everyday just seemed to be the same. Wake up, go to school, see his friends, be challenged to a duel, go home, help Grandpa with the game shop, go to sleep, and repeat. There was nothing new or really fun anymore, even with the spirit around.
For (Y/n), life was getting boring. Her friends had left to go to some goody two-shoes school in another country, her mother wanted her to get a boyfriend, and no one shared or peaked her interest. She was a master of card games but no one would play with her. There was nothing to do anymore other than mess with any random chump who decided to get in her way. (Y/n) was the daughter of the Queen of Hearts and the Headless Horseman so what did that mean other than that no one would really approach her.
For both of them, there needed to be a change of pace.
-(Yugi's POV)-
"Hey Yuug! Did ya hear there's gonna be a new student coming to the school?" I looked up from my dazed state and looked at Joey in confusion. "Really?" Tristan smiled and nodded excitedly, "Yup! Apparently she's really good at card games!" I nodded, looking back down at my desk. Looks like it'll be the same old thing again.
"Alright everyone," called the teacher as he entered into the classroom, "As you all might've heard we have a new student. Please treat her nicely. Come on in and introduce yourself." I looked up in time to see a beautiful girl with (H/C) hair walk in. "Heyo everyone! The name's (Y/n) Heartman. I enjoy card games so if any of you want to play a game, I'll gladly play. Hope we can get along."
I could hardly keep my eyes off of her. She was gorgeous. "Alright, (Y/n) go take a seat in the back next to Joey. Joey raise your hand." I felt something in me tighten. My heart. Why did Joey of all people get to sit next to her? As she walked passed my desk, I was shocked when she looked at me in the eye, and winked. I could feel my face heat up and Tristan smirked at me, giving a look that could only mean one thing: "You lucked out, man."
- Time Skip -
As the bell rang, signaling the end of class, Joey started talking to (Y/n). It actually sounded like he was challenging her to a duel. "You said you'd gladly play so how about you duel my pal Yugi over there? He's the King of Games!" She seemed confused. "Who's Yugi?" I turned away quickly in my seat as Joey point me out.
The sound of a chair moving away from it's matching desk sounded in the classroom and I became stiff as a board when (Y/n) appeared in front of my desk. "Hey there! Do we have time for a quick game before our next class?" Joey shrugged. "Next class is free period since the teach's out sick. So.. yea I think so." The (H/C) female nodded. "Alright then, would you like to duel?"
I nodded nervously and Tea walked over, putting a hand on my shoulder. "You don't have to duel her if you don't want! Joey wasn't being considerate. "I can take over for you if you want." Came the voice of my spirit friend, Yami. "No. It's fine."
"I.. I kinda want to duel her on my own."
With that, she whipped out a duel monster deck and shuffled them. I did the same and simultaneously, we set up the game. Tea looked behind me and smiled, walking over beside Joey. "He's got a good starting hand. He might be able to win this quickly." I frowned, was she trying to be quiet? It wasn't working. "You never know. We've never faced her before so we don't know what her deck's like." Replied Joey and Tea rolled her eyes. "It cant be that powerful. I mean, she looks and acts like a big shot beginner."
"It's rude to talk about someone like that, especially when you know they can hear you." Came the cool voice of (Y/n) as she placed two cards face down. Tea rolled her eyes again and the game continued. "Alright, I'll place two cards face down and summon Celtic Guardian in defense mode! Your turn!"
(Y/n) drew a card and smiled. "Alright then, I'll play Full On Assault to switch your Celtic Guardian into Attack mode then summon my Queen's Knight in Attack mode. I'll attack your monster for 100 life points off of your own! Your turn."
Yugi: 1900 (Y/n): 2000
I was surprised, as were we all. Queen's Knight wasn't a very common card so the fact that she got it out and was attacking it was quite shocking. "Oh well, try this on for size! Next I'll play my Curse of Dragon to attack your Queen's Knight!"
I shouldn't have done that.
"You just activated my Trap Card!" (Y/n) flipped over one of her face down cards and smiled. "Scrap-Iron Scarecrow! Your attack is negated and I'm able to set this card face down again! I draw, and summon King's Knight. Thanks to the special ability of the King and Queen's Knights, I can also summon the Jack's Knight. Now I sacrifice all of them to summon my favorite card! I summon the Card Deck Dragon!"
"The Card Deck Dragon?!" That card was in the rarity levels alongside the Blue Eyes White Dragon and the Red Eyes Black Dragon! (Y/n) smiled. "Yup! This is my baby! Since you have more monsters in your graveyard, my monster gets its defense points raised by 500! Also, I'll attack your monster to lower your life points again, but this time by 500! And for good measure I'll play Cemetery Bomb for an additional 200 damage.
Yugi: 1200 (Y/n): 2000
"Okay.. I'll draw and summon Gaia the Fierce Knight in attack mode. Next I'll put a card face down and play the spell card Swords of Revealing Light!" Her eyes widened and she frowned. "Should've seen that coming. That was a good play, Yugi!" I blushed and hid my face behind my cards. "Th-thanks.." Why was I being so bashful? This was strange. I mean, I was sometimes like this around girls, but this was to a whole new level. "I'll end my turn there."
(Y/n) nodded and drew a card. She seemed to be planning something but couldn't put it in play because she couldn't attack. Finally, she placed a card down. "I'll play Lord of Dragons in Attack mode and end my turn." That was confusing. Why would she leave a card like that out in the open. I fortunately had a trap card that could negate her face down card, but did I really want to risk it? Sure why not?
"I'll draw and attack your Lord of Dragons with my Fierce Knight."
Yugi: 1200 (Y/n): 900
(Y/n) began to smile. "Alright then. Remind me how many turns I have left before I can attack?" I tilted my head in confusion. "Two. Why?" She smirked and drew a card, placing it into her hand and revealing a Spell card. "I play Mystical Space Typhoon and wipe away your Swords of Revealing Light. Thanks to this, I can attack your Knight with my Dragon. For a grand total of 500 life points."
Yugi: 700 (Y/n): 900
"EH? What're you tryna pull? It's only 200 life points!" Said Joey about to get in (Y/n)'s face but I stopped him. "No, Joey. She's right. I just realized it too. One of the special abilities of the Card Deck Dragon gives it a boost in power in a certain circumstance. It's what makes it so powerful"
(Y/n) nodded. "Yup! The ability is called Dealer's Advantage. If the user has more monsters in their graveyard than their opponent, then CDD gets an Attack boost of 500! If the opponent has more monsters in their graveyard, then CDD gets a Defense boost of 500. Those stats add and subtract based on how the game changes."
"No way! That's crazy!" Said Tea. "Where did you get such a powerful card from?" (Y/n) shrugged. "It was a present from my dad. I'm known as the Queen of Cards back home so when I was first getting into the game, my dad found good cards so I could build my deck. Anyway, it's your turn, Yugi."
"R-right." I drew a card and frowned. At the moment, I couldn't take down her dragon, not only that, but her face down card was the biggest problem. I would need to sacrifice my face down card to get this right. "I play Heavy Storm and take away all trap and spell cards in play." (Y/n) smiled. "Nice!" She put the card in her graveyard and looked at me expectantly. "Alright then, I'll place one card face down and summon my Dark Magician in Attack Mode!"
(Y/n)'s eyes widened. "A Dark Magician?! No way! Those cards are wicked awesome!" I blushed hard, hiding once again behind my cards. "I-it's my favorite card." She smiled kindly. "I can see why! Not only is it rare, but it's incredibly powerful! Especially when combined with the Dark Magician Girl!" I nodded excitedly. I wasn't used to people being THIS into the game like I was.
"Alright, I draw, lay down one card face down and end my turn." I blinked in surprise. I was expecting something more. "Alright. I'll draw and place down the Dark Magician Girl in Attack Mode. Finally, I play the Spell card Dark Magic Twin Burst to destroy your life points and your dragon!"
"Not so fast! I reveal my face down card! Attack and Receive! This attacks your life points directly costing you 700 Life Points!" The duel was over.
The two of us stared at each other. Technically speaking, it was a dead tie. Both attacks landed the blows to each other's life points which dropped them both down to solid zeros.
"Wait", said Joey in confusion, "Did.. did Yugi just lose?" Tea was at a loss for words. "No." was all I could say. I didn't look away from (Y/n) and I began to smile. "It was a tie. Both of us won and lost." (Y/n) looked extremely pleased and her (E/C) eyes shone brightly as she blushed happily. Just then, the tense air was broken by the school bell. During the duel, an entire free period had gone by.
Tea sighed. "We'd better get to our next classes." Joey nodded and the two of them left the classroom. As I was about to leave, after cleaning up my cards, a hand stopped me. "Yugi, I want you to have this." (Y/n) stood behind me, holding out a card.
"This card, if you chose to use it, can help you get out your magician faster." I looked at the card and then at (Y/n). "I'm honored that you would give this to me, but why are you doing it?" The girl smiled. "You deserve it. Not only that, but thanks to you, I've finally met my match! You don't realize how happy that makes me. I've never tied with or lost to anyone before."
I was shocked. "R-really?" She nodded. "Yeah. I'm glad to know that I can finally have a good match. Let's duel again sometime!" I nodded happily. "Yes! That would be awesome!" (Y/n) smiled again and began to leave the classroom but I called after her. "By the way, since neither of us lost the duel, but both of us lost, I guess you're the Queen of Games now." She looked at me an then laughed. "Maybe not of all Games. I'm happy with being the Card Queen for now. See ya around Yugi!"
With that, she was gone.
I smiled happily, clutching the card she had given me. Life had just gotten a lot more interesting.

Mable was ontop of the log located at our back. How she got there without being noticed, I don't think I will ever know. "Hey whatcha reading? Some nerd thing?" Dipper had almost dropped the journal in suprise. "Uhh... uhh... it's nothing!"
Mable giggled, "Uhh... uhh... it's nothing! Haha Haha! Come on are you really not gonna show me?" I heard a munching sound and looked to see the goat from earlier nibbling on the exposed cover of the journal. "Uhhh... let's go somewhere private.."
Back at the Mystery shack, Dipper began explaining our findings in the journal. "Get this, at a certain point, the pages just stop, like the guy who was writing it mysteriously disappeared!" Just then, the doorbell rang. "Who could that be?" I wondered outloud.
"Well, time to spill the beans," Mable knocked over an empty can of beans and giggled, "This girl's got a date. WOOT WOOT!" She fell back onto the lap of the recliner.
"WHAT??" Dipper and I exclaimed in shock. "Hold on let me get this straight.. in the thirty minutes we were gone, you managed to get yourself a boyfriend?" I said as Dipper stood there speechless. "What can I say? I guess I'm just irresistible!" Said Mable happily as the doorbell rang again.
"COMING!!" She exclaimed, running to the door as Grunkle Stan came through the door way while drinking a soda. Dipper had just climbed onto the now unoccupied recliner and started reading the journal, me looking over his shoulder. "Whatcha reading there kids?" I looked up from where I was reading about gnomes and Dipper quickly hid the journal for some reason. I rolled my eyes as his paranoia as he stuttered about reading some old man jewelry magazine.
Just then, Mable came back with a boy in a dark hoodie. "Hey family! I want you to meet my new boyfriend!" There was twigs seemingly stuck in his hood and some kind of juice on his cheek. To be honest he looked like a slob. We greeted the boy as Mable spoke up. "We met at the cemetary. He's like super deep..." I didn't approve of this relationship, this guy was sketchy as heck.
"Dipper and I were gone thirty minutes. 1) Why were you at the cemetary, Mable. And 2) no relationship is started THAT quickly. Sorry Shooting Star but I don't trust this guy at all."
Mable glared at me, "You're just jealous because I'm able to get a boyfriend faster then you're able to make friends." That stung. I rolled my eyes, "Say what you want. It won't change my mind." Her words still rang in mind though.
"What's your name?" Asked Dipper. Mable's boyfriend looked nervous at that moment. "Uhh.. Normal?" Mable giggle and clung to his arm, "He means Norman." Dipper eyed the blots of red on "Norman's" cheek. "Uhh.. is that blood?"
The substance dripped off his cheek as he looked even more nervous. "It's jam." Mable looked excited. "WHAT??? I LOVE JAM!! Look at this!!!" She looked at me specifically as she said that and I once again rolled my eyes.
"So ummm... do you wanna go and.. maybe hold hands or something?" I wanted to bang my head against a wall as Mable blushed and giggled. They quickly left, Norman accidentally ramming his face onto the door post and probably breaking a few things on his way out.
"Dipper, the journal please." I said, sticking out my hand as it was quickly passed to me. Dipper and I went upstairs and began flipping through the pages. Dipper stopped on one entry.
"Known for their pale skin and bad attitudes, these beings are constantly mistaken for teenagers! Beware Gravity Fall's nefarious ZOMBIES!!!" Exclaimed my little brother. I frowned. "That would explain the whole "meeting at a graveyard" thing, but I'm thinking either that or gnomes." I said, flipping back a few pages to the specific entry.
"Why gnomes?" Said Dipper, looking at me in confusion. "I don't know. I just get the feeling he's a gnome for some reason"
Dipper rolled his eyes, "I will bet you ten dollars that he's a zombie and not a gnome." I smirked, "I'll take you up on that, but I get ten dollars if he turns out to be a gnome." We shook on a deal.
