It's not easy being green, but it is absolutely worth it.
Haven't published in a while, but I still enjoy writing some things. As usual, tons of ideas but rarely write them down.
If Neil Gaiman and my buddies are supporting Poison Ivy...well I don't know what else to say then.
Ecosocialist praxis
It is sad to me when sometimes you figure out that people who are part of a community can sometimes be left out. Being aro, ace, or aroace is just as valid as any other aspect of being LGBTQ+. I hope that this issue is less prevalent in most community circles, but know that if you interact with me, you have a friend and ally.
Found this on Pinterest, but count this screenshot as a reblog
Definitely me. It's both a fun way to support amateur writers, and it's a great way to practice fiction writing.
I’m curious!
So, I did a thing. Please take a chance to check it out.
Want to hear more about why I love monsters and scary stuff? How does an Autistic Adventurer survive the scares at Knott's Scary Farm and Halloween Horror Nights? Check out this article I wrote on Medium to explore my personal theories on horror and scare events.
I prefer saying, "Hi," or "You're very pretty" (regardless of gender) or "I like your (insert whatever you noticed here)." Basically, I figure that I might survive if I try to befriend the monster. So far, my friends include La Llorona, the Bride of Frankenstein, a doll-eyed clown lady who wants to turn me into a lampshade, a ghost lady in a haunted lake who was outfitted by Satan himself, and a vampire bat who convinced me to eat the spider on my necklace. I make neat friends. 😊😊😊
I like haunted houses in theory BUT I have no idea how to react when the actors speak to you. They ask me a question and I just… answer it…
The scariest part of a haunted house is the unscripted social interaction.
This webcomic (Monsters and Girls by Idolomantises) is one of my favorite works in recent years, and I especially love these two characters. Sera (the angel) absolutely loves her wife, Lili (the demon). However, being an angel, she is much more nervous about being intimate with the woman she loves. And as much as Lili loves to tease her wife, she is understanding of Sera's hesitation and is willing to both help ease her into things as well as let her back off from doing anything she doesn't want to do. It's something that as an Autistic person I understand wholeheartedly. I want that personal interaction with people, but I am also hesitant about my own boundaries and directly interacting with people. I just wanted to thank Idolomantises for creating this comic and giving us such a wonderful couple who knows how to listen to each other.

It so helps that I was watching Linkara's review of Amazons Attack, when I saw this post.

To everyone who needs help and is out there fighting the good fight, Happy Pride Month! Right now, we live in a scary time. But, we cannot lose sight of how much we care for each other. We need to look out for each other more than ever, and only when we can do that can we make the world a better place.
I am reposting this for my brother, who absolutely loves Indiana Jones. He burst out laughing when I showed this to him, and I am so happy about that.

IN CONCLUSION
Indiana Jones is a femme fatale.
As an Autistic and queer person myself, I totally understand why horror and dark fantasy overlap with our own understanding of the world. It's why movies like The Shape of Water or stories like Frankenstein resonate with those of us who feel othered by the world. We empathize with the monsters because in many ways, the monsters might just need someone who understands them.
As someone with a physics education, I can one hundred percent agree that this is the true beauty about the universe. There is so much wonderful in the world that we barely understand and may never know. And you know what? That's okay!
I finally watched the final season of The Owl House, and it cemented Luz as one of my favorite Disney Heroes of all time. Growing up as an Autistic person especially with not even getting a school diagnosis until I was 13, I relate to the idea of simply wanting to be understood. The fact that feeling becomes Luz's source of power is beautiful. Thank you, @danaterrace , for giving us something so beautiful.
Function is not the key to understanding a person as a person. Empathy is. Autistic people need help by having Allistic people listen to their individual needs. When you have met one Autistic person, you really have met only one Autistic person. We don't fit into categories all that well.

This is my first attempt at one of these shipping memes. I have no idea if I did it properly or based it on much canon items. But, these are my headcanons for one of my all-time favorite Zelda ships.
Empathy is the key to accepting neurodivergence. We get nowhere by being afraid of people or choosing not to listen to them. Support comes from positions of kindness, empathy, and understanding.

I felt that, Mr. Wheaton. I felt that in my own soul.
How do I stop rolling natural 1s on all my attacks?
Buddy, if I knew the answer to this question, my whole life would be different.
I still have my Mickey Mouse plush from when I was two. And, my bookshelves are filled with comics, manga, and novels based on stuff like Disney movies. We all love what we love, and that's what makes us happy in life. No one should be judged for that.
just like.....the bizarre vitriolic hatred i see on here for autistic ppl who like "childish" things made for little kids is so frustrating and heartbreaking to me. allistics already hate us and infantilize us, so they see an autistic person who happen to like something "childish" and mock us for it.
but what really breaks my heart is seeing OTHER autistic ppl who think of themselves as being "better" than those who like "childish" things and make fun of them bc theyve been taught to hate by an ableist society. doesnt it get exhausting. doesnt it hurt inside to be full of the lies and hatred neurotypicals taught you. doesnt it hurt to take out that hatred on your fellow autistic ppl, to mock them for something that allistics already mock them for. why. why do you do this. who did this to you.
Another great of history that I didn't know about. I mean, someone had to create those icons. And, I'm glad that Susan Kare is getting the love she deserves.

My favorite Heartslabyul moment is from Ghost Wedding. During Riddle's Vignette, he triumphantly fights against the ghosts. I love this moment because Riddle shows how awesome he is as well ends on an awesome line, "Because I am the King of Heartslabyul!"

ABA is a policy that I definitely do not support. I have beaten myself up some days because I don’t feel “normal.” It still takes talking with my friends and family to realize that I am not supposed to be “normal.” I’m just supposed to be me. I am lucky to know several people who are willing to help me grow and develop my independence and skills rather than try to make me fit the mold.
Applied behavior analysis (ABA) is a therapy that helps kids with autism learn skills and lessen problematic behavior like hurting themselves. There are several different forms of ABA. All are based on the idea that reinforcing certain behaviors will lead kids to repeat those behaviors. Studies have shown that ABA is effective, but some parents and autistic self-advocates do not support its use.
One criticism of ABA is that the earliest version of it used punishments as well as rewards. Punishments are no longer used in ABA, but critics think it is still too hard on kids because it is so repetitive. Supporters argue that modern ABA is often much less repetitive and that practitioners are trained to make learning fun and interesting for the child.
Another criticism is that ABA is too focused on eliminating behaviors instead of building skills. Some practitioners agree that this can be a problem. They emphasize that therapy needs to focus on what kids should be doing, rather than what they shouldn’t be doing.
Finally, some autistic self-advocates say that ABA tries to make kids with autism fit neurotypical standards. They argue that autistic kids have different needs, so they shouldn’t be taught to look and act like neurotypical kids. Some of these advocates says that speech and language therapy is a more helpful way for autistic kids to build skills and independence.

I found this author while looking around on Tumblr. As someone who fairly recently has begun going through my own questioning phase and dealt with similar self-loathing issues, this resonated a lot with me. I highly recommend giving Mari Costa a read and a like.
old autobio from back in 2018. ive changed a lot, but this comic resonated with a lot of folks at the time
A notification on my other account. Please check out what is going on over there. I've got some cool stuff to show and say about being Autistic and traveling theme parks there
Tomorrow at noon, I will premiere the first trailer for my brand new YouTube channel. Please check it out. I am so excited about what we are doing on this channel.
Today's Board Game With My Dad: Marvel Zombies, Heroes Resistance.
We barely survived fighting against the hordes on this one. Actually had to reshuffle the Zombie Deck because so many zombies spawned on us (including every Zombie Hero). Luckily, Spider-Man, Vision, Wasp, and Hulk lived to see another day.
I got so excited when CMON announced this game from their Zombicide line-up. Maybe some day, I can get the full Marvel Zombies base game as well as the expansions (Clash of the Sinister Six and Guardians of the Galaxy seem the coolest). Hopefully, I can share more board game stuff in the future.
This is a post that I put on a blog that is the start of something new for me. I don't have much on there now, but I hope to help it grow.
My best friend sent this to me, and it is a good reminder of why I am creating this diary. I have been going to theme parks since I was a baby, and I grew up with these characters and experiences as a big part of my life. Autistic kids become Autistic adults, and we need to remember that as time goes on.
Libraries deserve a lot of love. Where I live, my library isn't just a good place to relax and study, but they also run several of the community events near where I live. I can't easily afford to go to Comic Con, so they basically run a Comic Con that is a free event near mine. It is a genuinely important place for me and the people around me.
So, something cool. My Dad has been working on a film for the past five years or so. And, it looks like he's posted the trailer on his Tumblr. You can check it out here.
A new teaser for the movie we've worked so hard on. Marbles and Bullets. We could use your help! Tell people about the movie! Let people know that you want to see it. Be a voice that helps us be heard!
