Can you prove non binary people don't exist? With facts not just your opinion

*cracks knuckles* Alrighty here we go.So, to start off with, I can’t definitively prove anything. I can’t prove with 100% accuracy the existence or non-existence of non-binary people or even binary transsexuals for that matter. But the difference is that we have plenty scientific research evidence for one, and not the other. We have studies upon studies showing differences in brain structures between the sexes. And thats not even getting transsexuals involved. Men and women have observable differences in the way their brains are structured, as well as having differences in the amounts and location in the brain of grey and white matter. Here are some links to get you started:http://mobile.the-scientist.com/article/44096/sex-differences-in-the-brainhttp://dana.org/News/Details.aspx?id=43520#_edn1https://www.pennmedicine.org/news/news-releases/2013/december/brain-connectivity-study-reveahttps://www.scientificamerican.com/article/girl-brain-boy-brain/https://www.theguardian.com/science/neurophilosophy/2013/oct/06/male-brain-versus-female-brainThe brain, of course, begins development while the fetus is still living inside the mothers womb, and during pregnancy, the fetus is presented with sex hormones to help it develop the way it needs to. If the fetus receives male sex hormones, it develops male brain patterns and structures. If no male sex hormones are received, the brain defaults to female. Now, how does this apply to transsexuals and non-binary people? The current data out on the matter of transsexuals is that we have the brain sex that is opposite to the sex of our body, likely caused by either the release of sex hormones when not appropriate (female fetus receiving testosterone in the womb), or the non-release of sex hormones when needed (male fetus not recieving testosterone in the womb). This difference in brain sex to body sex most likely causes the brain confusion and distress, as the brain is not equipped to deal with the sexed parts of the opposite sex. This confusion and distress results in what we call sex or gender dysphoria (AKA, the discomfort/disconnect/distress that one experiences towards the sex of their body.)The reason why I do not believe in non-binary genders is because (with our current knowledge on the subject) it is virtually impossible to have a ‘non-binary’ brain. Tumblr user myragewillendworlds has made numerous excellent posts explaining why a non-binary brain could not exist, so I’ll leave a few here for you to peruse.http://myragewillendworlds.tumblr.com/post/26153676338/why-there-almost-certainly-is-no-non-binary-brainhttp://myragewillendworlds.tumblr.com/post/51667990214/the-possibility-of-agender-bigender-and-somewherehttp://myragewillendworlds.tumblr.com/post/158981691389/sources-first-known-use-of-transgender———-Now, I don’t know what your exact views on what gender is are, so I’ll include a few extra things to debunk any arguments early. If you are someone who thinks gender is whatever you identify yourself as, or that to be transgender, you just have to identify as such, then think about this.I am technically a transsexual man. I was born with and still have a female body, but I experience a disconnect and a discomfort with my sex, and so I have chosen to undergo transition as a means to relieve myself of my sex dysphoria. Despite this, I do not identify as transsexual or transgender or trans or anything like that. When ever possible, I try to forget that I am a transsexual, and I only ever say that I am in situations where I feel it appropriate, which is rarely. I never call myself trans, and I don’t consider myself trans. If anything, I identify as a cis man. So with that said, does that make me not trans? Since I do not identify as trans, does that make me not trans, despite being a transsexual? If you are someone who thinks that gender is a social construct, then think about this.If gender is a social construct, then how do we have transgender people? By saying gender is a social construct (i.e. Gender is fake and so you can be any gender you want, not just male and female) then you are implying that you can simply chose to be trans, which is a horrible mindset that we are trying to work against. Now, you may be mistaking gender for gender roles. Gender roles, while some have a basis in biology, are largely a social construct, and are ‘fake’. I am all for people being gender non-conforming, but you don’t need to call yourself ‘non-binary’ just because you are a girl who likes wearing ‘mens’ clothing, or a guy who like wearing ‘women’ clothing. If you are someone who thinks “non-binary people exist because they say they are non-binary”, then think about this.If I say I am a dragon, does that mean dragons now exist?——–That is all I can explain for now, though I have many more thoughts about closely related topics that I may explain if the need arises. I will also ask you a question in turn, and add that I think it is silly to ask “prove something does not exist.” YOU should be trying to prove that something does exist, not trying to prove how it does not. Thats like me saying “prove to me that God does not exist.” or “prove to me that dragons do not exist.” Can you prove non-binary people do exist? With facts, not just your opinion.

there's actually less chance of infection if you spit on it, from what I know. (Though I may be wrong)

shit i can't not laugh at this

Straight men have no idea of how uncomfortable they make women, to a point where women are automatically on guard whenever they meet a new guy. I know this firsthand because every time I meet a girl and she finds out I’m gay, I can visibly watch her guard drop; her body language changes to complete relief. It’s pretty astounding to observe.

Granted, I’m sure if a girl is homophobic it’s a different story, but you get my point.

Knowing this site, I'm gonna get oh-so-much hate for this but

That's a.. really stupid view you have there, by definition, any fear is a psychological vulnerability.

Look up MK Ultra in wikipedia and you'll see how those kinds of things can be used; phobias, traumas.

Also look up room 101 while you're at it, it's from a dystopian novel by George Orwell, but a great example of how any fear is a vulnerabilty

If you're dismissing what I said as an opinion, please read back on what I said, and note that I've only used logic and evidence to support my points. It's as objective as a computer calculating 1+1 could get, other than for my opinion on your subjective statement.

Now, that was only the warm-up, your comment has honestly been the stroke that pulled the camel's back for today, not your fault, but hey.

Its small, but the overwhelming ignorance of it really ticks me off, I know it's not a recent repost, I know it's not the first, second or third time I've seen it while scrolling through OP's post notes, but lucky you, you finally get to see your own problems to become a better person.

First of all

"no one asked for your opinion"

Echo chamber definition, by urban dictionary:

"an insular communication space where everyone agrees with the information and no outside input is allowed"

Yeah, and no one asked for different opinions in the USSR, or in Nazi America, no one asks for different opinions in North Korea either.

Do you see where I'm going?

as much as the person you were referring to is kinda wrong, to actually advance mentally as a human being you need to challenge your own beliefs, completely, you need to seek out oposing opinions more than you seek out people of the same opinions, 'cause it ain't gonna help you get better in any way, to find out reasons as to why the other believes this or that.

Proving yourself wrong should always be a main objective, because by doing so, you are correcting flaws, you can improve yourself.

And that's not my opinion, it's a fact, it's quasi-exactly how evolution and "survival of the fittest" works

I'm not gonna deal with any more of the shit in that repost, because it'd be quite a big waste of time, so, have a nice day.

As much as I see where youare coming from, I don't think that making comments on their appearence is inhenrently bad, at least through compliments.

I can say a girl looks good in someway, hell even 'hot', and it doesn't necessarily mean I'm trying to hit on them, I'd just be stating that they look good, attractive, or whatever.

Obviously, it doesn't mean that some men won't use it in an attempt to hit on a girl, but it really isn't something to be uncomfortable about from the start unless the first 10 words make it clear as day

Otherwise, only thing women need to do (and some men, surprisingly!) is be more observant and analytic of the person, and think about both possibilities and what the one happening is more similar to.

In regards to those acting in those kinds of ways, yeah, that's a whole other story, people doing that kinda stuff should really think about if that's the smartest way to find someone.

And as for telling no, sorry to point this out to you, but that's an extremely bland statement, there's nothing wrong in trying to say no before anything else, is there?

Just because there was one guy like that, doesn't mean that all are like that, I've seen multiple girls do the exactly the same kind of thing to their boyfriends, both in media, and a few of my real life friends.

Speaking off, this is completely unrelated, but it made me recall that, whenever there's been a girl who's been y'know, raped, everyone seems to scream out about it and whatnot and feel bad for her, which is good, of course people should worry and care for rape victims, it must be quite a traumatizing exeperience

However, when the same happens to a man, no one really cares or listens, here on tumblr, they assume the man had done something for it and deserved it, there is obvious evidence online that courts are more biased towards women in general.

hell, did you know it is literally legal for a women to sue a man for child support even after raping them?

As Much As I See Where Youare Coming From, I Don't Think That Making Comments On Their Appearence Is
As Much As I See Where Youare Coming From, I Don't Think That Making Comments On Their Appearence Is

This site is full of people who always cry out sexism while always saying that all men are bad and justifying hate towards them, the irony. Where did all of this "equality" go to?

Anyways, I've beaten about the bush for too long, at least you said that not all men are like that, next step up is to recognise and say that the majority of men aren't like that.

Same, honestly-

but for whom?

the men? or the prejudiced women?
