Summary: Months after that encounter with Lord Garmadon, the ninja are basking in their post-hero complacency, when Lord Garmadon’s son Lloyd shows up to pick up where his father left off.

The one that is the most striking is Zuko, yes his scar is the biggest difference, but what I’m getting at here is well the difference in lightning and the expression, the first image is bright and warm shining above, he’s smiling and happy, the second image, it’s dark and dreary as fire light illuminates his features from below, highlighting his scowl and wroth.

U know when avatar does that thing where it flashes back to a childhood memory of a character and then focuses on their face and fades back in on them at the same angle but older and changed....... gets me every time

First character that I’ve drawn that isn’t my own, finally got around to some fanart.

Jestero post-season 4.

Considering he got electrocuted and had lightning coursing through him for the majority of season 3-4 it’s a fair assumption that Jestero would have scars.

Jestero is quite a tragic character, he just can’t catch a break, he was just a pawn a means for Monstrox to escape his prison and to be used as a host. Used as a pawn again to get what he wanted. It was also planned that in season 5 he’d be used as a puppet by Monstrox once again.

I can’t believe it’s been 6 years now.

Hard to believe it’s been a whole year since the GF finale… Couldn’t resist to draw the ultimate heartbreaking moment of the show. What really gets me in this scene is the contrast between visual and emotional mood: the sunny, peaceful landscape makes the sorrow of the Pines family even more tangible.
