Some time ago, I said that Cosette's birthday was on 18th February, and that it was a reference to a historical fact, right?

Well, in case you wanted to know, then search for 18th February 1784 on google (that date's definitely not someone's false birthdate aha). You might found someone's portrait 😳 (definitely not someone familiar to all of you aha)

Look, I've read the Hannibal novels as well but can book fans please stop purposefully finding posts by the series fans to derail it and stuff? Like, we get it, the books and the series have different "endgame" ships but.. the term "ship and let ship" exists for a damn reason. And I know that it sucks, the way different aspects of Clarice's character gets split to multiple characters, but A) it was because of copyright issues, and B) you should've directed the anger at the producer instead of the fandom. Also why tf do you guys want to harass the shippers of a mlm ship so bad it's starting to feel a bit iffy.

Here's the explanation of Louisette's novel title:

I read somewhere that sunflowers symbolizes friendship, and in the late 19th century, a lot of mlm men (in this context, men-loving-men, not multi level marketing) wore green carnation in the lapel of their coats as a subtle hint that they love other men. The two main characters ( the widower and the confidant ) were both male, so that's why she chose that title. Also, in these short stories, people were much more accepting.
