Welcome to the real world Chapter 4

Twst characters x reader

So as I promised,, I said I would upload chapter 4 after the comic I drew. I was busy yesterday and hoping to finish last night but my friends told me to join them for a game of among us. It was super fun and I enjoyed it a lot. I don’t play much games so when I do I get adrenaline running causing me to stay up late. Hopefully I’ll get rest tonight since campus is tomorrow. 

Anyway, I hope you’ll enjoy my writing!

Chapter 4

The light dimmed, soon disappearing and leaving the chamber to look as it was before. Students and teachers, stood on their spot, reminiscing about the one who just left. Some decided to turn their heels to head out, while others stayed a bit longer.

Once everyone came to terms that their precious friend had finally left, they follow suit, not noticing a twinkle of light coming from the mirror before it expanded.

“What the— Everyone, get back!”

Professor Crewel ordered, as the light never ceased. Soon the room was covered in white, causing everyone to shield their eyes when it became too much. However, not too long, and the light decreased, becoming weaker, and weaker as seconds went by, until everything came back to normal.

Once the staff uncovered their eyes, they examined the room, immediately noticing that students were missing.

“Oh, no…”

‘A dream?’

You wondered, opening your eyes slowly to find blue hues staring into your own. You both blinked in sync, once, twice until realisation hit you. Pushing off whatever was on you, you shrieked, jumping to your feet and taking quick steps back as the figure groaned in pain.

“Owww—”

“Grim!”

“Are you alright?!”

Two voices caught your attention, causing you to watch as familiar figures came running to aid the small creature who sat up dazed.

“Fnyaa, what the hell?”

A cat with blue flamed ears shook with eyes closed, rubbing its head in confusion before opening its eyes and having them land on you.

“ H-Hey human! That hurts, you know?”

You were shocked. Not taking note of your surroundings, you ended up tripping, but that didn’t stop you from moving. You backwardly crawled away from the three, only to once again, hit your back on something. Upwardly moving your head, your eyes widened when you saw two large males with identical features, smiling darkly down at you.

“Oya? Someone is awake~.”

The one said as the other bent down, pulling you up and turning you around to face them.

'Neh~ Jade! Isn’t this the one Azul mentioned that knew who we are! Hey, Hey! Do you know who I am?“

One of them excitedly asked while picking you up. The male gave a sharp, toothy grin, watching you struggle to get out of his grip.

"Hey, stop moving around and answer my question! Or I might end up squeezing you!”

You froze in place, eyes widening as you didn’t dare to make a move for if he was who you thought he was, then you knew that he was dead serious.

“I-I uh, Floyd Leech?”

His grin grew wider as he spun around with you, holding you close to his chest.

“Aha, she knows! She knows!”

He babbled as you pressed your hands against him, pushing him while he suffocated your face to his chest.

“That’s enough Floyd, put her down.”

A different voice called, making the male drop you. Landing on the floor, you were, once again, met with pain. You wanted to rub your sore behind, but a hand came into view, holding out for you to take it.

“Do take my hand.”

A charming voice said, making you look up at the owner with silvery hair. He had a captivating smile, though, his eyes were closed, almost like he was hiding something which made you feel wary. You took the hand nonetheless, and he helped to your feet.

“Floyd that was very rude of you, you shouldn’t do that to a lady.”

The silver-head lightly scolded but Floyd just rubbed the back of his head, still grinning at you. Though he nodded in acknowledgement, it was clear that he didn’t care.

“Right, right Azul~.”

You puffed out your cheeks to his half-assed response, turning to Azul and noticing something behind him.

“Ah, so you’ve noticed the others.”

He moved out of your view, allowing you to perceive everyone in the room, Dorm leaders and more were observing you, some whispering and others just downright staring. You could feel your nerves coming back as your legs began to shake, uncertainty overcoming you as you didn’t know whether to say hi or something.

“Your awake!”

An excited voice yelled as a tan-skinned male with short white hair came into view. He happily moved towards you, taking your hands in his and with sparkling eyes, he opened his mouth.

“You’re the one that knew our names! That’s amazing! I want to know how did you do it? We’ve never met, did we? Ah, but if we did, I’m sorry for not recalling! I am very, bad with—”

“We’ve never met her, Kalim.”

Another tanned male came over, pulling the happy male away from you.

“Is that so?”

He turned his head to the other then back to you,

“Then how do you know us?”

He launched forward again, coming face to face with your own.

“Well… I-uh.”

You began but was interrupted.

“Are you perhaps a witch?”

One asked,

“No, I’m…”

“She can’t be a witch. I don’t smell any magic on her”

Another said,

“True but I—”

“Then maybe she’s as talented as a seer!”

“There’s no way she is—”

“CAN I JUST TALK?!”

You yelled, puffing out your cheeks in frustration. Everyone stared at you in shock, making you feel timid again, but you continue to speak.

“I am in no way a seer or witch!”

You began, walking towards the front of the room so you could see everyone.

“And as you said, I have no ounce of magic on me that’ll give me insight on who you all are.”

“Then how do you know?”

You thought for a moment, wondering if you should tell them the truth. You scanned the room where everyone was looking at you, awaiting your answer.

“Well. That’s because…”

Almost all were laughing at you, and those who weren’t were trying to hide theirs through awkward coughs.

“Ahahahahaha A game? You know us because of that?”

Floyd laughed, finding it so hilarious when you confidently told them that they were from a Disney game.

“Your so funny Fugu-chan!”

“It’s true! You’re all from a game! and who the hell are you calling FUGU?!”

Red covered your puffed cheeks from both frustration and embarrassment.

“Well, you puffing your cheeks so much that you remind me of a blowfish, and that’s why I’m calling you Fugu-chan!”

You wanted to disagree, but you knew it was true. Releasing the air from your cheeks, you ended up pouting instead.

“I apologise on behalf of my brother.”

Jade said chuckling,

“He shows his affection by giving out sea-based pet names.”

You crossed your arms, silently whispering an “I know that…”

“But if what you say is true.”

You turned to a short male with pink highlights in his hair,

“Then surely you have proof?”

An idea popped into your head, and you reached down into your pockets.

“I do actually!”

You beamed, fishing out your phone and finding images of the characters in your gallery.

“See? Take a look! These are fan-arts and some official arts, but they look exactly like you guys, don’t you think?”

You stretched your arms out to Lilia, handing him the device.

“Impressive, they actually, do.”

“Hey, let me see!”

Some came looking over his shoulder, pointing at the screen.

“That’s me over there! That one looks like me!”

“Your right, I didn’t think we’d be this well known.”

Surprisingly, they were taking this very well, swiping on your phone for more evidence before wanting to look at your more private folders, to which you snatched the phone away.

“So you see, I’m not lying!, There are cosplayers, stories and loads of fanworks of you all!”

“Well, she has shown us evidence, so it’s safe to say that she is telling the truth.”

“I agree, but if so, how did we manage to get here? Is this not their world?”

You cocked your head to the side,

“ 'Their world?’ ”

You asked but not receiving an answer.

“Indeed, if this is not their world then we must’ve transported somewhere else.”

Vil concluded causing everyone to agree.

“But if we happen to just, be game characters, isn’t it kind, of depressing?”

The blue-flamed male softly asked to no one but himself, receiving a confused look from his robotic brother.

“Its nothing…”

“Anyway, we have to find our way back, I’m sure that the headmaster is looking for away, but that doesn’t mean we should sit around and do nothing.”

“How annoying.”

The lion yawned, taking a seat on a closed coffin.

“But I suppose your right.”

“Well then, what is our plan of action.”

The green-olive haired male asked, pushing up his glasses.

“First off, we are going to need to explore this place, and the one who can show us around would be her.”

You froze when all heads turned your way, the sudden attention giving you chills.

“Wait… What?!”
