One of my fav artists said that they find it relaxing to kinda just not think and draw without a clue on where it’s going so I wanted to give it a shot. And hey they were right. It was kind of relaxing to just dump characters in a spot 

Inside The Black

Hey Ninjas, here's the first Chap of a dark story I'm writing on Fanfictionnet.

WARNING: THIS SHIT IS DEEP AND CONTAINS DISTURBING, GORY THEMES. IT IS NOT FOR SOFT NATURES.

The first thing that greeted him when he gain consciousness was pain.

Pure agony ran across his veins, as if, small pins had replace his very blood. And those pointy metals grated angrily across his cells.

He couldn't stop the pained moan that involuntarily escaped his lips as his sufferings only increased in intensity as he become more and more aware of his surroundings. By the First Spinjutsu Master, everything hurts. Even breathing! He couldn't inhale the tiniest amount of oxygen without his chest literally burning.

It felt like it took hours, but he had finally gotten used enough to the torture to be able to assess his surroundings (it helped that the agony subsided a little)

First thing first, he needed to open his eyes. A task that was proven to be way harder than it should.

His eyelids felt like they were glued shut and had some invisible weight to them. It was a struggle to open them and with all his efforts, he only managed to slightly split them apart.

The world was blurry at best and there was practically no light source. Any normal person would have been able to see as effectively as a bat but Cole was a ninja, trained in the way of ninjutsu, savior of Ninjago and had been in more fights than he cares to count. A barely visible and blurry world was nothing new to him. Although... The world had never been this dark before, nor this... cold.

Where was he?

Memories of the previous events flashes before his eyes. He remember the Oni invasion... Garmadon's plan... then the distressed signal... and Gale Gossip scolding him for saving her?... and the Bounty's reactors and... he felt?

How was he still alive? A fall from that height should have instantly kill a man. Not that he was complaining but you know, how was he not dead?

Something moved!

And pain flared all across his severely abused body, a painful reminder that he didn't make it out alive unscathed.

He watched calmly (that's a lie, he was freaking worst than Jay on the inside but freaking out on the outside was not an option) from the corner of his eyes as those clouds thingies (Oh he remember that thing had grab his foot before) flew carelessly around. It didn't seemed interested in him, maybe it thought he was dead? Whatever the case, it was working to his advantage.

He patiently waited until the black thing was far enough from him before he moved. No matter how hurt he was, he obviously couldn't stay here.

Now he needed to solve how he is supposed to actually get out of here.

What a minute, how bad was his injuries?

His head pounded like he'd been hit by a truck at full speed (not completely wrong seeing as he could've have hit something while falling and he didn't exactly land on a pile of cushions either) Maybe he a concussion?

His chest wasn't faring any better, each breath he took sent waves of fire all over his body. Maybe it wasn't too farfetched to say that he had broken rips? Also, the fact that he felt like his chest was full could mean there was blood in his lungs.

Damn, he wasn't even halfway done with his self examination and it already looked so bad. He wasn't sure he wanted to keep going at this point. But he didn't really have a choice did he?

If he takes the easy way and stays here, it would only be a matter of time before the cloud things discovers he's actually still alive and who knows what will happen to him then?

But who is to say that escaping here would increase his chances of living? If anything, it was riskier to try and get out. No matter how sneaky he will be, with his current physical condition, he was bound to mess up and attract attention.

Argh! These options were terrible! One was just a waiting game and they other a 'risk it all' game. Oh well, if he's doomed either way, better be screwed while fighting until the very end, because Ninjas never quits!

Okay back to the matters at hand, he was able to move his left fingers and, although painful, was able to fully command his arm. He couldn't say the same about the other one, he could still feel his right member but it was completely unresponsive. Dislocated? He couldn't say for sure since he could barely glanced at the injury.

His back hurts as well. It cried in agony and it felt... wrong... kind of like the shoulder he suspect is dislocated and should he be worried or glad that he couldn't feel anything down from his waist? He couldn't feel, nevertheless, move anything at all. It was as if he was completely disconnected from his lower body.

'Alright, calm down Cole. What if you can't feel your legs? It's nothing to worry about!... Hopefully... I did fall from- No! Don't think of that. Focus on getting out of here!'

He couldn't see much laying on his back. Taking a deep breath and grinning his teeth when his chest ached, Cole twisted his body over so he was laying on his stomach.

He was unable to stifle the agonizing scream that resonated all across the disturbing silent area. Tears formed and fell without his permission as his whole body cried with pained.

The pain that flared almost send him unconscious and as much as he wanted to, he forced himself to stay awake.

'He needed to get out of here and the others must be worried about him' was what he kept repeating to himself to keep himself going.

The red pool underneath him was growing rapidly and so was the pain but he kept pushing. Using his broken but functional left hand, the raven would pull and dragged himself across the titled floor. One advantage of bleeding out so much was that it made sliding slightly easier.

The heavy pain panting inevitably attracted the attention of the black clouds thingies but Cole, so focused on his slowly progressing escape, didn't noticed the threat until too late.

The black smoke stopped right in front of the obviously suffering boy for a minute or so before spinning on itself and expanding, slowly twisting and contorting into a humanoid shape before getting more and more opaque and becoming am Oni. The devilish creature looked down at the boy with a grin so wide and filled with evil glee.

Fear possessed the earth master as he felt something grabbed his hand and a movement of head revealed that it was the being he had been trying to escape from. He could feel his heart pounding like crazy and adrenaline filled every cells of his body

The Oni, unconcerned about the agony the raven was evidently going through, violently pulled him upwards to eye level. The raven screamed at the rough treatment, causing the creature to grin even wider. It was clear that the creature enjoyed the pain the raven is showing... monsters.

The Oni species were very tall creatures, easily reaching the 2 meters only few humans could. So it was no wonder that Cole being lifted to the shape-shifter's head meant that the raven was dangling into thin air. The blood traveled his body, until it reached the tip of his shoes and dripped on the growing red floor.

The monster contemplated the earth ninja, taking in the severely bruised face with blood stains from the varied cuts and scratches and his one normal eye had redden from crying. But what really intrigued the Oni was the paranormal eye and scar right above. Both glow with a sick green shade, and he wonder if that was the reason how the human was not a stone yet.

"What a strange human you be" He spoke, his voice deep and filled with malice. "You have not become stone yet. Could it be caused by your undead capabilities?"

Cole was as clueless as the Oni on his ability to withstand the darkness, but what he did know what that he was trapped. He could only hang like a useless ragdoll because his right arm and legs refused to budged no matter how much he willed them to move.

"But this is better" Cole wasn't liking where this was going "I am growing bored"

Dread and fear filled the raven as demonic purple eyes locked in with his own wide petrified bi-colored ones and he could swear he heard his heart stop at his captor's next words.

"Let's have fun"

Look, it doesn't matter whether you enjoyed the ending or not, I believe we can all agree that Marco was done dirty af. Why wasn't he shown among his fallen comrades in the last chapter? Why wasn't he smiling at Jean and Connie with Sasha? He was the most important piece in Jean's development yet they don't even get a last goodbye? Why didn't we get an angsty moment between him and his killers, Reiner and Annie, looking at him with regret just for him to smile at them and tell them it's ok, he forgives them, like an angel that he was?

All I'm saying is, MAPPA please I'm begging you fix this mistake. Draw my boy next to Sasha, let him smile at his friends one last time. He deserves it
