As the traveller looks out over the land, Gathering his breath, A pair of giants silently materialise out of the wet swirling mist, Towering over their surroundings, Their dominant stature awes the traveller, causing him to gasp in awe, They have stood silently there for many years, guarding the lands secrets with their inflexible features, Respecting this the traveller continues his travels, Forever remembering this moment in time when he saw the twin mountains with his own two eyes

As I sit here pondering,
Thinking about the chaos,
How we get so easily sucked into the vortex it creates,
Civilisation teeters on the thin line between violence and peace,
Occasionally slipping,
We must ever be so careful,
That we don't collapse inwards like a black hole,
Peace must prevail in order for us to survive!!

Written after 1st nude modelling for art @ The Stable, Hubert St, Woolloongabba. Curtain Call As the robe slowly opens, like curtains at a show, Everyone looks on, anticipating as it slides to the floor in a heap around her ankles, They cannot help but marvel at the natural beauty that has been presented before their eyes, Time to draw, to put on paper what they see, She settles into her pose and allows the budding artists to study her curves, interpreting her, As her chest expands with each breath, she relaxes more and more, The sounds of pencils gently scratching on paper fill the soothingly lit room, Everyone's focus on transforming her curves into lines on paper, Time to finish, to see what the budding Picassos have created, Each drawing a unique marvellous piece of artwork, Delighting eyes with details of natural beauty. There is a vacuum, one that has you pondering, frustrating the person that contemplates the question, and what does manage to escape from the vacuum bubbles up to surface and explodes outwards like a geyser, leaving everyone reeling in its wake, shocked by the ferocity and the emotion it leaves behind.
The vacuum beckons again with a crooked finger, come hither, follow me, you want to refuse, but at the same time you're curious like a cat so you follow, to explore, to answer the questions you have.
The vacuum never stops, never disappears, and it only shrinks to the smallest shape possible, until it's allowed to grow again.
What is the vacuum you ask, the vacuum one can only speculate on what, who and how it exists,
It only causes questions, never answers. It never pauses nor speeds up, it is a constant ache that you can only disguise as something else, hiding in the background lurking.
It can only be suppressed, never defeated. The only way to overcome it,to stay on top, is self awareness, to take control of one's self.
