It is imperative that we never forget this tragedy and ensure that our children are educated about our history. By doing so, we can strive to prevent similar occurrences in the future.

Her eyes were the color of sewage water and her hair smelled like Clorox. Her clothes were sometimes tattered and grease would build up around her nose on her face. But I loved this woman. To me her eyes were little drops of chocolate and her hair smelled like freshly cleaned sheets. Her clothes were just vintage and her face glistened like an oasis. I loved this woman and her sewage water eyes.

I'm so tired of this life where you cannot be happy for too long because of others and you cannot be sad for too long because of others. So removing people from the equation altogether would make a lot of sense but it would remove sadness as well as happiness...it would take away any emotion humans are capable of feeling. And if everything is removed what is the point of this life? Not like with this constant back and forth between happiness and sadness there's any point to life.
But you have to live, they keep saying, so I'm trying.
I remember when I was a child

I did. I wanted my independence so bad and when I got it
I ran wild and abused it and myself.
Its quite ironic
because little did I know eventually.....
