Fourth in a series I of comics about protesting safety tips I made with @this.is.ysabel . This one is about the dangers of police surveillance and how to avoid it if possible. Keep being safe when you go out. Don’t get snatched!
And so women [in Wakanda] are allowed to realize their full potential … we’re all very specific, very individual, very powerful in our own ways and therefore, very effective and influential. - Lupita Nyong’o

“The simple fact is that people who achieve excellence in their fields didn’t just have a dream. They got up at 4:00 am to practice on parallel bars or had to forgo other desirable activities and paths in order to get in six hours of violin practice a day, or stayed off several million absurd writing advice blogs with their overheated little cliques that dispense useless regurgitated maxims and empty praise and decide to actually confront their own thoughts on a page. Or they read Beowulf and Dante carefully and deeply when they didn’t see any point, since all they were interested in was Sylvia Plath, because someone of more experience and wisdom told them to do so. I don’t know whether we’re overly lazy, stupid, or childish these days. But the idea of preparing oneself for excellence has somehow disappeared. So – my advice to dreamers: Don’t just follow your dreams. Earn them. Do what it takes to achieve it. Work for it. Don’t just sit there and dream because if you do, it will never, ever be yours.”

Trump is the worst excuse for a human being, and any one that wants to vote for him is no better.
The mayor of Philadelphia didn’t mince words when asked about Donald Trump’s recent remarks on Muslims.
coffee: always frantic, has a crammed schedule, never stops consuming caffeine, will agree to go to a party even if they have a six a.m. shift the next day

sweatshirt: is trying as hard as they possibly can, has to study and work hard for their grades, constantly stressing, has social anxiety, tries to do every extra curricular under the sun
aesthetique: probably vegetarian or vegan, has a “mom jean” 80′s aesthetic, glorifies local cafes, wants to live in Europe, always wants to cut their hair
gothique: black clothes only, still stans my chemical romance, uses sarcasm as a defense mechanism, desperately wants some tattoos, likes the black lipstick look but too shy to do it
In school we learn that mistakes are bad, and we are punished for making them. Yet, if you look at the way humans are designed to learn, we learn by making mistakes. We learn to walk by falling down. If we never fell down, we would never walk.

Seriously though, I keep switching majors, and I finally just decided to double major and to try and get a minor in the other area I'm interested in. I need options
INTP: I tend to live in the future and put most of my energy on the big picture. But it’s not really “the big picture”. It’s like multiple fucking galaxies and alternate universes. It makes it so hard to make decisions because I want to keep my options open. I can see everything from a different angle and I don’t want to miss out on anything. It’s really annoying because I find it hard to live in the moment. If I do make a decision I can’t enjoy the pressure that’s been lifted off me because I’m so worried about the outcome and if I should have gone another way. It’s terrible -_-
“It takes courage to grow up and become who you really are.”
— E.E. Cummings
This is both amazing and profoundly irritating - the exact writing equivalent of that thing artists do - you know, how they’ll mess up anything that’s on expensive paper and planned in every single detail but get them doodling during a boring lesson and suddenly they’re Michel-bloody-angelo.
Photos from the Saturn system, taken by the Cassini Spacecraft in November and December 2015. From top; crescent Tethys, Enceladus behind Dione, small moons Epimetheus, Prometheus, and Atlas, and an alignment of Enceladus and Tethys. What magnificent worlds!
