I am not alone....)
I've been working off and on on this Hancock fan-art piece for a while when I've had the time/energy. HERE is the thread of the work in progress shots.
It ain't perfect, but it's done - and that is more important! I know there are plenty of others out there who struggle with self-worth, negative inner critics placed there by others, and the perfectionism defenses that can force you to freeze or hide rather than participate or share anything you do out of fear.
So here is to sharing despite the fears, continuing on building better boundaries against fussing with details (despite wanting to), learning to stop when something 'feels' done enough, taking the win of feeling enjoyment of learning new things, and feeling proud about some parts of the piece! Thank you all for taking a look, your support, and some pretty fun tags I've read along the way. :D
New sketches with a Codsworth!)
I have a hunch that Piper and Codsworth would be the very friends, who laugh about and without :)
He's definitely not okay. You can't live 200 years alone and then be okay.
Crawling through Fort Hagen with my hunting rifle and a deep desire to not get lost for another 45 minutes because I thought I saw a desk fan a couple rooms ago, and behind me I hear Codsworth's little engine puttering as he drifts past a couple more 200 year old dead soldiers in a pile of overturned desks and debris. Then I hear, in this creaking creepyass maze:
"They say to die for one's country is the greatest sacrifice. It's the ones left behind that bear the biggest burden, I should think."
a) this game may not be Deep but the absolute ATMOSPHERE of some of these moments is incredible and b) Codsworth honey are you okay because c) I do not think that you are lmao.
The biggest one is "Hear me out!" in my life lately. I'm generally surprised that there's not enough content and spikes on it. Well, how is that? :(

WHERE IS MY FLIRTATION WITH THE CODSWORTH?! 😭
Why is there not an option to flirt with ALL vendors or ANY NPC in fo4? KLEO I get bc cmon what a woman. But there are others. Like the Bobrov brothers, Arturo, the vault tec rep ghoul, Daisy, Valentine or Ellie even, literally anyone you can have a conversation with should be flirtable (not necessarily romancable bc Kleo isn't but you can flirt with her). Sun! Sun is another one. Not Cricket tho I mean unless other would it's okay personally wouldn't. Currie.... Wait idk never gotten very far with her to actually tell if it is or isn't possible. Fucking Trevor even, I know some ppl love their pathetic sad men that evolve into somewhat confident men.
Actually ANYONE you can have a conversation with in fo4 should have a flirt option even if they are not significant to any mission or game plot, or even if they are technically the antagonists or villains(i know some are Kellogg Stan's or wetf it's called) if you can talk to them you can flirt with them even if it's morally reprehensible. It's a game and it's fun...
(Also I know many who play it go on crazy murder sprees and choose the bad options because their lives don't allow for such unhingedness and gives them some way ro vent their frustrations with life. So this isn't that bad comparatively. harmless fun all round anyway)

Not sure if this will interest anyone, but have a WIP pic of a vault dweller figure.
Base body is a modified WWE doll with improved joint movement.
I made the vault jumpsuit from a plain bodysuit with craft ribbon bits glued on.
Still needs some improvised wasteland armour, some paint, a head sculpt and a 3D-printed pipboy.

considering (some)ghouls, gen2 synths, and robots don't need to breathe, do you think Hancock, Codsworth, and Nick would ever team up to get Cass some freshly caught seafood? like if she mentions missing fish and chips or something? i'm imagining shenanigans as they run into those giant squids from the tabletop.
Idk about the Commonwealth being the best seafood buffet. I always just end up thinking of those dolphish on the shores 💀

It's so delicious. The aroma is simply gorgeous, and the taste of the broth makes you fall into another reality.

DEEPLY funny to me that Codsworth, who hates stealing and can't even drink alcohol, gave me a "Codsworth liked that" when I stole Drinkin' Buddy for myself with zero justification and sent him to live in Sanctuary instead of delivering him to the hotel.
Codsworth just wants more robot friends. :3

A tourist in his own city
In college, I was asked to draw a drawing on the theme "My city" in a graph for a test paper. They said I can draw anything and anyone, even "Virtual worlds" and then it started... Everything worked out by itself. I will post this art on my Instagram and mark Freeman's "parents". I really love this job and I'll get enough of it, they'll like it too.
P.S. Well-deserved 10/10 for the job) The teacher liked it too) :D
I finally remembered to just look up what's on the side of the Mr. Handy boxes instead of squinting trying to read the in-game model, and I have several questions lmao. I love this stupid setting.
Just finished my synth Codsworth redesign, so here!!

I'll probably change a few things as I continue to draw him, but yeah, this is the base idea. Here's a few facts about this design under the cut:
•Seein as he doesn't have weapons built into him anymore, he wields a Mr. Handy buzz blade and a flamer as his main weapons, though they can obviously be swapped out for others.
•His base outfit is a combination of different colored male formal wear from New Vegas and a far more clean version of the metal armor from 4. I actually considered havin him wear robot armor over top of the suit, but I thought it wouldn't look as good as the regular metal armor. Also gave him a bowler hat since he can actually wear one in game.
• Despite bein a fully lifelike synth that could pass as human, he does have prototype synth eyes, and parts of his body are damaged, exposin some of the metal. Most visible in the blank reference below.
