my blog’s theme is me. a compilation of every single thing i love. every interest. every musing. and everything in between.
⊹・ starting from december 21, tumblr is expanding its list of banned tags on its ios apps to comply with app store’s (new?) guidelines. ⊹・no official list has been released detailing all the tags that have been banned. however, @bannedtags has compiled a list of known banned tags, which is linked at the bottom of this post.
⊹・sadly in the mix are tags such as #mine, #my stuff, and #mine*, all which are commonly used among the editing community, as well as some tracking tags such as #bbelcher. ⊹・for content creators who use such tags, this means that their posts (and any reblogs of such posts) will be unavailable to be viewed on the ios apps from anyone’s dashboards. ⊹・however, the posts are still viewable if you go to one’s blog directly or if post notifications for a certain blog is turned on.
⊹・if you are a content creator using one of these newly banned tags, rather than using mass post editor to delete & add tags, tag replacer is a far easier tool to use. ⊹・a popular tag used in the editing community that has not been affected (yet) is #*, which you may consider using instead.

You might have thought card sharks and loan sharks were named after the predatory fish, but apparently there’s a decent chance it’s the other way around from an old Dutch word meaning “person that takes unfair advantage of other people”. Before that they were known in English as a haye or dogfish, which means sometime in the ~1400s enough English sailors started saying “don’t get in the water, it’s infested with those jerks”
the mutuals sound like this
we only see three colours the rest are made up by our brains
our eyes feel like windows to the outside world, and we think we see the physical world as it is. but we can only see 0.0035% of the electromagnetic spectrum, so basically we see nothing but hallucinations and we are trapped inside our brain.
You walk along the path as you have many times before, the cracked concrete familiar beneath your feet.On one side of you is the cliff; the cliff is familiar too. Numerous cracks run up the pale face; they greet you as you pass them by, an old friend. You counted them, once. Sometimes moss spills out of the rifts caused by time and bad weather, bringing life to the otherwise empty stone. Scraggly plants cling to it's crumbling surface. On your other side there are long stretches of grass, punctuated by trees. In the distance you see the figure of someone with a dog that bounds faithfully alongside them. You smile and continue walking. The sky above you is cloudy and grey. The weak sunlight permeates the air around you and lights your way. It's cold. You wish you bought gloves. You hear chirping above you, and when you look up, you see them. Peering over the nest at you, the chicks ruffle their downy grey feathers and call for their mother. You continue to walk onward. You can see the old abandoned railway, upon its throne of pebbles and stones. No train has run along that track in decades, it lays silent now. When you finally arrive it is a welcome sight; the walk here had tired your bones and you need to rest. You are relieved to see the familiar grainy wood framed by the cold black metal. A brass plaque bears her name.
You lay down the bouquet you carried here and you sit down and remember. You watch and are content.
