I’ve always found the idea of Red getting like a little crush on Varian to be really heckin’ cute. He’d probably be completely oblivious to it, but I still think it would make for some adorable interactions.

MAKE NEW LAYER ABOVE SKIN LAYER, RIGHT CLICK, MAKE CLIPPING LAYER–

PICK SICK AS HECK ROUNDED TEXTURE BRUSH (that i got from Sam Nielson, who got it from Jason Kim!)

PAINT THAT MAGIC IN (don’t forget the ear tips and elbows!)

SET LAYER STYLE TO MULTIPLY, ADJUST LAYER OPACITY

(don’t forget the hairybabies!)

And that’s the most common way I do blushes! Simple, quick, gives some texture!!!

Not into the ship, but I do get annoyed with people policing my fanart, so have some petty sketches in response. 😂 🤷🏾‍♀️

Alchemist’s Log, Entry #120: New Plan “I think I may finally be getting close to a solution.

According to the ancient text I’ve been translating, the rocks are somehow connected to the Sundrop Flower of legend and may even be susceptible to its power. Royal records hold that the king destroyed the flower not long after using it to heal the queen, but I’m certain the it’s been securely hidden away somewhere within the castle walls. Even so, retrieving it is not going to be easy… The truth serum I created should be enough to gather the necessary information to locate the flower, but I’m going to need Rapunzel’s help - or more accurately, her cooperation - to get inside.

Getting close to the princess has been a challenge ever since somebody (not sure who, but definitely somebody within the castle) started a rumor that I, supposedly, “attacked” her on the night of the storm. A rumor that the king obviously has no interest in correcting. Guess I shouldn’t be surprised…

Luckily, the princess’s birthday is just a few days away, which makes this the perfect opportunity to get her attention. But I’ll have to be extremely cautious. No room for missteps this late in the game. 

Just to be sure everything goes smoothly, I’ve written Rapunzel a note that will hopefully lead her to exactly where she needs to be.  Now all that’s left to do is deliver it and wait…”

Woops almost forgot to post this. Varian managed to capture the current captain of Corona, Cassandra, just what is he planning? (Headbutt him Cass, do it for the kingdom)

Alchemist’s Log, Entry #103: Weird Rocks “I’ve discovered some strange-looking rocks near the border of the village. They’re black with a metallic sort of shine and unnervingly sharp. They also appear to grow in clusters, like crystals. I’ve never seen anything like them before… But the strangest thing about these rocks is that they just sprouted up out of nowhere! And they haven’t ceased growing yet. Each spike continues to grow, indefinitely.

So far, I haven’t been able to collect any valuable data about these rocks, but I’m going to keep trying. If more spikes like these begin to grow regularly, they could become a big problem for Old Corona.”
