Chapter 7 is up! Summary:  Kaede shows Kagome where to go where she WON'T get attacked by demons. Inuyasha does some errands for Totosai and finds something rather interesting.

I’ve always thought of how tragic Kaede’s childhood was, she lost her sister and Inuyasha all at the same time and had to grow up quickly to become the next village miko. Thinking about how she was probably lonely with her sister gone. And man I also think about how Inuyasha would always sit by her when she’s weeding or just sits in with her in her hut like that eats away at my feelings man.  Please do NOT repost on any other social media without my say so. 

My first thought upon seeing this was that Kagome, like me, also has a pair of cowboy boots she’s only worn once. Did I also recently buy a big yellow backpack and think of her? Maybe...

One of the biggest reasons I decided to read the manga even though I've seen the anime a thousand times is because I wanted to see how the modern world was drawn. Look how cute kagome's outfit is here - a reward after all that intense emotional and physical action 💚

I updated my story!

Thanks to everyone who read Chapter 1!  I had to build up courage to start writing and then to share this story online. I told myself, that even if no one reads it,  this is something I’d like to do for myself. The nice folks reading, commenting, and leaving kudos have been such a wonderful, really encouraging and sweet bonus that I did not expect! Thank you so much!

Hi there! Since I missed my personal goal of posting every other week, I just wanted to say that I have been visiting family and haven’t found time to write. Story is not on hiatus :) stay tuned for chapter 5!

Found this really well done cosplay video that I think captures the camaraderie of characters. It’s funny because the video makes me realize how much of the series is like a camping trip with friends.

Summary: Kagome starts preparing for her plan to find work at the Tower. Inuyasha makes some preparations of his own.

Chapter 12 is up! One reason for the long delay - moving all my worldly possessions from one location to another. Another reason for the long delay - the words coming out of my fingertips mutinied, would not do what I wanted, and had to be negotiated with in order to reach a mutually acceptable solution.

It’s a crime this wasn’t in the anime.

Miroku is just like "can yall please put your romantic drama on hold for like 2 seconds, we almost all died here."
