I'd like to talk about my friend Mahmoud Abu Hamam, who currently needs your help.
Mahmoud is an engineering student whose studies were cut short when he lost everything and was thrust into a nightmare. On Oct. 7th, Israel launched their genocidal attack on Gaza, and Mahmoud has been evacuating from one place to another for the last 9 months.
Since the beginning of the war, Mahmoud has been documenting his experience while simultaneously experiencing profound losses.
Below is a video Mahmoud recorded on Oct. 7th at the very beginning of the genocide.
You can see below a photo that Mahmoud has taken of the hardships he's faced, documenting the water scarcity faced by every person in Gaza now.

My elderly mother has suffered a stroke in her eye which resulted in internal bleeding and she is in dire need of urgent medical attention and surgery.
