I find it so interesting how Ogata is able to accept death so quickly. Ogata does not live for any other reason then to prove non-existent people wrong and him right. He's a bit of a coward and fights dirty because he has a goal, to become leader of the 7th. But if he's given another way to die in a satisfied enough manner, he will take it. When he knew Sugimoto was going to kill him the moment he caught up, his decision to try and get himself killed by Asirpa's hand seemed to come so easily. Like he literally just said one 'poor me nothing goes my way' line then instantly went into his death monologue that was about the guilty conscious he definitely didn't have. He fought in the war just to be closer to his family, not in a good way. He plays a dangerous game while trying to take the safest routes, but when it comes down to it, all he wants is reassurance in his delusional world view whether he dies sooner or later doesn't matter too much to him. He wouldn't prefer to die before he can reach his endgame, but it's all a means to an end for personal reassurance.
It didn't take long for Reach to fall: our enemy was ruthless. Efficient. But they weren't nearly fast enough. For you had already passed the torch. And because of you, we found Halo, unlocked its secrets, shattered our enemy's resolve. Our victory — your victory — was so close, I wish you could have lived to see it. But you belong to Reach. Your body, your armor — all burned and turned to glass. Everything… except your courage. That, you gave to us. And with it, we can rebuild. - Dr. Catherine Halsey, in remembrance of the battle of reach, July 24-August 30 2552

Can't stop thinking about Ogata and Inkarmat with a Kaz an Nina dynamic. They hardly interacted in the original series but as designated fox and cat I kinda wish they had. Kaz and Nina have something akin to a sibling dynamic where they aggressively annoy each other. They could have been annoying let them be annoying.
And I haven't actually watched the SaB show but I have seen clips from season 2 where Nina gets a flash of Kaz'a past when she touches his hand. Now imagine that but Inkarmat and Ogata. Where Inkarmats probably trying to use her ability to heal him (because Ogata doesn't really have anything that makes him panic like that) or just mad at him which is also understandable, and catches a glimpse of a figure just barely in her vision. She flinches but nobody is there when she turns.
The crew doesn't have a member that gets called Wraith like the crows (sorry Koito no scary nickname for you), there is an honorary seventh that one believes might actually be a wraith.
I can see your father in you.
I kept this idea for a long time and I’m still incredibly happy, that so many people like this artwork. I got a very huge feedback and a lot of warm comments, that made my heart aggressively melt T__T
Honestly, I feel a little embarrassed when I see every joyful comment, but it make me so happy during the whole day. Thank you❤️
