War & Economy

"War & Economy" is my first big project. It's the game about two city-states at the war with each other. Nobody knows the reason for this war. For their rulers, it's just very exciting game. And you act in the roles of these rulers. But nobody thinks about habitants of these city-states...

I was inspired to create this game by marble wars, in particular the MIKAN channel. I watched them and cheered on teams. I got upset if my team lost. I thought my team lost because i can't control it. I decided to create a game is similar to marble wars but it's played by players this game, not random chance...

Hi!

Added an interface tab in the settings menu. There are checkboxes for large interface and blocking end turn button. Also moved there are the tool deselection checkboxes and the default menu radio buttons deleted

And yes, now the end turn button has a timer that shows the remaining time

Also, the pause menu finally pauses animations

Added auto layout and translations into simplified and traditional chinese. Thanks @freeve4-makes-games (translator)

Now it's available on itch.io. Pre-beta because i'm going to release a beta version on Google Play/Steam in the future

The old logo looked a little asymmetrical, so i added a gradient to hide that:

Now air defense system can repel enemy attacks but only if victim has force.

Do you mind if I use the keyboard to select a tool/attack and end turn?

Added background for entry field errors. Also name entry field has become taller and now they can accommodate the letters j, g, q, y (yes now you can tell q from g 🥳)

And now entry field don't disappear in release bundles (yes this problem wasn't only on Android)

I started developing my game. At the moment I have created the non-working interface.

Now if you launch the game through web-browser you'll see this window. And there will also be no exit button.

I also changed credits and save button icon. Now "who goes first?" and "... won; ... lost" windows will adjust to players' names sizes.

(yes i know there is a bug right on the video but i'm too lazy to fix it)

It's pre-beta 2.0 pre-1 (it means i'm going to be releasing pre-beta 2.0 this week!) and i'll post it in my discord server within the next hour (yes this phrase has already taken root)

PS: i'm so happy now because i finally managed to steal gridroad and i'll play it tomorrow (or later) :-})
