It’s hard to believe GF came out that long ago. Of course it’s different for me because I just watched it 1 or 2 years ago and not when it aired on TV. I’m a little disappointed in myself by that fact

Soo the OG Pines twins are now even older than they were before. If Stan and Ford were 60 or so in the show, then they’d be about 72 now. I decided to draw them younger because look how cute they were ☺️

I don’t mean to brag but I really love the way Ford’s glasses look

You may notice the hearing aid in Stanley’s ear, there’s actually a reason for that! Stan canonically wears hearing aids in the series. It was probably just a joke to make fun of how old he is because they’re only mentioned once and never again. BUT I decided to roll with it!

My older cousin and his twin (RIP Charlie, he died a couple days after he was born) were born prematurely, which isn’t uncommon for twins. So it can be assumed that Stan and Ford were also born early. Since my cousin was born so soon, his hearing didn’t develop properly and he’s been deaf his entire life.

So, I headcanon that Stan was born deaf or hard of hearing. That’s why I draw him with a hearing aid! I don’t know if it’s accurate to his time period, but I still think it looks pretty good.

Wooo it’s OC time 🎉

This is Echo, a character from this world/story idea I have!

So in this world, one of the main species is a dragon. Dragons can flux between two main forms; animalistic form and elven (humanoid) form. They’re objectively the most powerful of the species because they have no magical limits and can learn/be born with as many of the 7 types of magic: water, fire, earth, air, telekinetic, oracle, and light.

These drawings are the headshot and fullbody of Echo’s elven form. I haven’t drawn their animalistic form yet because I have a hard time drawing animals 🫠

Echo is a non-binary tundra dragon who specializes in water magic. They’re also learning air and light. I’m debating shipping them with the main character and narrator, Castor, or giving them a love interest who isn’t in the main group 🤔

I love Echo a lot and had fun designing them! What do you think?? I’m happy to answer any questions about my story :D

This is an old piece I found in one of my mini notebooks, I actually haven’t drawn Hazbin Hotel stuff in a while maybe I will again

I have an unhealthy obsession with giving characters ears and noses even when they don’t canonically have them

So I’ve been thinking about Sunrise on the Reaping, how it’s gonna play out. You know what would be really depressing?

Haymitch Abernathy, “first” victor from District 12. Winner of the fiftieth Hunger Games and the second Quarter Quell. A poor boy from the Seam who defeated twice the number of tributes. The unlikely champion.

He’d used the Capitol’s arena against itself. He endured extreme pain and injury. He had to witness his beloved Maysilee die right before his eyes. Watched as an ax cut through a girl’s head. Remember the countless young lives he took. The horrors that could have driven him to insanity.

After being announced as the victor and being taken from the arena, he received medical attention before having to sit through countless interviews being watched by everyone in Panem. Haymitch put on a smile, saying exactly what the Capitol wanted him to. The entire time he hid his emotions, not letting anyone see through him.

All Haymitch wanted was to go home. To see his family. He caught a glimpse of them waving and cheering as he stood before the District, but the Peacekeepers wouldn’t let him go to them. His mother, who he could always confide in. His father, who never expected him to say anything but would always listen. His siblings, who he could open up to and show his weaknesses to without being judged. His pet, because he found that being around animals was healing.

He was finally allowed to return to his little home on the edge of the Seam, facing the woods. This was where he grew up. He knew the house to be noisy and warm with fire from the coals harvested by his own father. Haymitch was impatient to step through the door and be greeted by his family, surely proud of him.

But something was different.

Silence. The house was cold, empty, and dark. There was no sign of struggle; all the furniture was standing up, but nothing seemed to be in its normal place. An uncut loaf of bread rested on the kitchen countertop. Everything was clean and perfect. Perfect, except for the lingering smell of blood. Haymitch immediately dropped his things, his victor’s crown clattering to the floor. He felt tears streaming down his face. He took a step forward.

Lying on the dining room table was an ax, and a glass vase holding a singular white rose.

Yeah I write sometimes. Haymitch is my favorite character so obviously I’m going to dump more trauma than necessary on him. It’s how I show affection 🫶

I am not exaggerating when I tell you I screamed and immediately started working on fanart when I heard Sunrise on the Reaping was coming out, I’ve been waiting for this for idfk 4 years?? Which isn’t very long but I’m quite impatient

Sorry I was gone for a while :P

To start my blog, I’ve been introducing all the fandoms that I’m in. Today is the WebToon and YouTube pilot series Ramshackle! Stone is my favorite character so I couldn’t resist drawing him 🙃

I didn’t change much of his design, just made his hair a bit more blue like how it is in the WebToon and gave him heterochromia - one brown eye and one blueish eye.

I also headcanon him as gay and aromantic

I don’t know if this is a thing people do on this website because I’m new and still have no idea how Tumblr works but here we go-

Hi! My name is Luella and I’m a (kind of?) self-taught traditional and digital artist! One of my friends has been pestering me for a long time to start my own art blog on Tumblr so I finally decided to go for it! So I dug up this sketch in my journal and finished it digitally in order to introduce myself!

So this is a drawing of my persona Swan! I draw a lot so you’ll probably see a ton of stuff with her in it lmao. She uses she/her pronouns and is an unnamed species that I’ve been working on!

There are two versions of the drawing. In one, Swan is holding the aroace flag and agender flag because that is my gender and sexuality! I also identify with librafeminine, oriented aroace and omnisexual which is the second version. I just find it easier to use agender and aroace because they’re more commonly known :)

So that’s my little introduction! I can’t wait to show more of my art with everyone! 💛

Shows you should save physically immediately

Over the Garden Wall -- It's being pulled from HBO Max on August 31 and knowing HBO, there's a chance it'll be pulled sooner. *I have now made a Google Drive of all the episodes of OTGW. Please, please, please, PLEASE, save these on a physical device.

The Owl House -- Disney has tried to bury this show many times (giving it a weird release schedule, cutting the budget, etc) and has even cancelled the show. Also, Disney+ is going to nuke their catalogue soon and I doubt TOH will survive*I have now also saved all the episodes of TOH. Click here for the posts with all of the episodes

Amphibia -- I know less about the behind the scenes BS than TOH but Amphibia was screwed over by Disney mainly by poor promotion. Also since one of the protagonist is openly bisexual*, like TOH, I really can't imagine this would survive.*Amphibia has also been saved. Go here for the post with all the episodes.

Steven Universe -- Cartoon Network cancelled Steven Universe and gave it a weird release schedule, it has also just been pulled from HBO Max.

Gravity Falls -- Once again, Disney+ is going to nuke their catalogue at some point in the future and between Wendy being canonically bi, Sheriff Blubs and Deputy Durland being in a relationship, and Alex Hirsch (being the amazing man that he is) constantly calling Disney out on their BS, I imagine that Disney would be more than willing to nuke Gravity Falls. *I’ve also saved Gravity Falls now go to the main post here to see all the episodes.

and most importantly

Every single show, book, game, fanfiction, movie, etc you've ever loved

We now know that at any moment's notice, streaming services can and will just nuke their catalogue without hesitation. If it's digital, it can be removed and there's a likely chance you'll never see it again.

So, please take some time to save anything you love on an external device. It could be a box set (it can be official or fan-made one), a USB, or anything.

If you have a physical copy of something, it's yours forever and no one can take that away from you.

*Edit because I’ve seen some confusion about this. Read this again, it’s “one of the protagonists” not “the protagonist.” Sasha is the one who’s bi, Anne’s sexuality hasn’t been confirmed.

Also in addition to this, people have reblogged this to say Steven Universe is still on HBO. Since I don’t have HBO, I’ve been going off of what people have been saying and I’ve seen it mentioned that HBO was taking off SU. You should still save it though.

Everything We Know About 'Good Omens' Season 3

So sick of the new trend of hating on artists.

No one is forcing you to listen to certain music. No one is forcing you to share your opinion.You aren’t getting paid to share your thoughts.

If you don’t like the music, or the artist, or the artist’s message, then DON’T INTERACT WITH THEM. You can block. You can un-recommend their channel. You can just scroll when you see their music or videos.

Hating on artists is not “cool” or “edgy”. It’s just annoying. Leave people alone, because in the end? Your opinion doesn’t matter that much in the grand scheme of things. Social media is toxic as it is. Why not spread positivity?

TLDR: Artists are just doing what they love. They don’t need your negativity, so just stop interacting with them if you don’t like their music.

I know the question of who was responsible for almost killing Adam is a contentious one around these parts, but I think it bears pointing out that at the end of the day, despite all the arguing back and forth about it Crowley and Aziraphale were both on the same page about going through with it regardless of which of them was holding the gun, and it was the humans who actually prevented it from happening.

Even Shadwell, who has almost zero redeeming qualities throughout this entire story, immediately balked at being told to shoot a child, and then Madame Tracy forcibly prevented Aziraphale from going through with it. They both knew that they were on their way to kill the Antichrist, and Shadwell at least had enough information to have possibly pieced together that it was the child Newt had gone to Tadfield to find—but when push came to shove, Aziraphale and Crowley were prepared to go through with it despite their misgivings and the humans weren't.

I don't know that I'm saying this makes A&C bad, or the humans better (again, Shadwell is overwhelmingly a terrible person apart from this one moment), but it's certainly one of those moments that highlights how different they are. Despite six thousand years of living among humanity, their perspective is still fundamentally non-human.
