it’s always so disappointing to see AI art on my dashboard. like, come on. I thought we all agreed to keep AI out of fandom??

Futuristic scifi AU, with a love potion, forced proximity and fake dating. Such a beautiful build, and so much yearning. And the podfic is SO PROFFESSIONAL. This fic feels so addictive, and it genuinely has ALL of my favourite tropes

I still think about this fic to this day. IT'S AMAZING. Such a genius blend of canon and modern era.

and I finished the Loaded March series by footloose earlier this year, which was excellent and definitely worth the time inverstment

This week my nostalgic brainwaves took me here, of all places

The awkward smile/unsure expression Merlin does after repressed Arthur punches him on the shoulder, because he doesn’t know how to communicate feelings (just kiss and make up).

The way Arthur says: “You can’t address me like that!” to Merlin in the pilot. The suppressed laughter, the delighted surprise at his audacity, the hint of fondness already there.

You can tell that apart from the possible exception of Morgana, no one has spoken to him so freely in his life.

thinking about all the times Merlin had to go through something deeply traumatic and Arthur had no idea, and Merlin just had to laugh it off and make up a lie

I YEARN for more scenes where Arthur actually notices something's wrong and tries to comfort Merlin (even if he doesn't know the full truth)

Like, I just watched S2E09 and this scene at the end:

Arthur: something's been upsetting you, hasn't it?

and then he tries to cheer him up, and smiles at him like this:

I just need more of this! soft arthur comforting sad merlin

fanfics are one of the best things that humanity has come up with. i fucking love reading stories about my favorite characters from people who have the same brainrot as me

real. my merthur WIP is full of plot holes but that one scene SLAPS
