So I was going to make a silly post about how much I love their gossipy silly friendship and then I overthought it so now I'm making it your problem too.
Just think. All those years at Hexside, Willow failing every class, Gus the child prodigy but in an undervalued track. Being told constantly by adults that they weren't good enough unless they aspired to be in the Emperor's Coven, with all the ruthless individualism and backstabbing that entails. They were brought up in a society where their worth was measured by how much they could serve an emperor, a system, which was designed to take everything it could and give nothing back. and they weren't perfect: look at how they idolize the emperor's coven in season 1.
And yet. And yet and yet. Gus still stuck with Willow while she was being bullied by the most popular kids in school, not to mention the teachers! Willow wasn't scared when Gus' illusions got out of control, and taught him how to quieten down his mind!! When Gus ran away from home, when he was terrified of telling his own dad he got a failing grade, Willow was the one to go and find him!!!
And then! When Willow brought Luz to school in secret for the first time, Gus was the only one she trusted enough to tell! They're the ones who incited the crowd to protest until the emperor set Luz and Eda free! They forgave Amity and befriended Hunter. They're the backbone of the Hexsquad as we know it. Despite the odds being stacked against them, together they managed to carve out this space for silliness and joy and decency.
Hunter said that he never thought there'd be a place for him in a world like this. Luz ran away from the human realm because it felt so hostile to her. Amity was trapped under the constant expectations of Lilith and her parents. But all along, Willow and Gus were quietly preparing a space for them, to come when they were ready

every single bit of willow content in this ep was also so so so so so so so so so fucking good. like there's so much media where one of the side characters is confident and friendly and sweet and supportive and by all accounts emotionally adjusted and they're never given any ROOM to be complicated or messy or unhappy. or if they ARE given a Mess Moment, it's usually in the form of them snapping and lashing out at everyone for never caring about them the way they care about everyone else (as if the other characters are at fault for their inability to ask for help). so. deconstructing that archetype with willow, who IS genuinely so confident and self-assured and sweet and friendly and supportive, by having her slowly collapse and have a nervous breakdown from the stress of always needing to perfectly play her archetypal Adjusted Normal Support Friend role.... fuck me UP i NEVER thought we'd get such good fucking willow content with how little runtime there was left, ESPECIALLY because i usually have to do the complex heavy lifting with similar characters myself. like i'm not used to seeing this kind of arc illustrated so viscerally in the actual canon. yes!!! yes!!! yes yes yes yes yes!!! fuck!!!! explore the heights and stakes of these 'quieter' more introverted issues with the same drama and messiness and narrative weight that all the more-typically-befuckened characters get!!! LET'S FUCKING GO!!!!! WILLOW FUCKING PARK!!!!!!!!!!
this scene murdered me. Caleb doesn’t say a word, hardly moved other than looking down slightly. He doesn’t have to. Everything he could say is unnecessary.

TW Child abuse/manipulation general Belos shenanigans. No spoilers past 3x01, please don’t add spoilers for 3x02 to this post.
Sometimes I think about how Belos targets kids and why, because he knows that kids are still developing and don’t always understand right from wrong, and also it seems like he just likes being around kids more because he feels like he can control them. He’s very aware of what’ll upset Luz, what’ll make her mad, and what to say to her to get what he wants. He’s even more in tune with Hunter, he kind of trains Hunter on certain words like “replacement” that set him off. Hunter’s backstory that he gives in Hunting Palismen is probably almost word for word what Belos taught him to say (he always highlights how Belos gives him the staff which would be important to him as a half-witch but Belos also highlights that himself which feels… interesting, as well as the fact that it sounds rehearsed a bit, because Hunter trails off and then he remembers where to go next with “And then Belos found me”), and Belos definitely taught Hunter to respond to physical violence specifically from him with the freeze reaction which is fucking awful (ex. Eclipse Lake, Hunting Palismen- Belos makes a sudden movement and in both of these Hunter goes silent and still, and then in King’s Tide, Hunter freezes up and goes silent when Belos addresses him). Finally, the Collector he has less control over but it kind of seems like the Collector looks up to him and Belos uses that against him. The Collector gave Belos secret magic, and helped him create the Grimwalkers, in exchange in a lot of ways for Belos’ friendship. Belos and the Collector even pinky swore that Belos would let him out, and Belos abuses that and uses his position of having something the Collector wants to force him to help him.
I don’t have anything to say about Darius because we haven’t seen them interact directly or alone and we don’t know much about their relationship other than their vague past when Darius was likely a minor so. Yeah. Probably won’t get elaboration on that at this point but this is a History.

I can't fanthom to explain you in full how much of a significant moment this is in animation
You don't show blood in animated films, it's like almost a taboo thing. You can show characters getting beat up and bruised but never bleeding. It defies all corporate beliefs of making it a "kids movie". Even GDT's Pinocchio which has fucking nazis in it and guns shooting people never showed blood in it. It's just that sacred of a thing in animation that studios never cross.
But Puss in Boots, they showed it. Not only that, you get a fucking close up on it. Do you know how rare that is? The people who made it probably fought every tooth and nail to get this moment approved, because this is unprecedented in this industry. You don't show actual blood bleeding I cant stress how much this is such a nono in this industry.
But for this moment it's perfect, the inevitability of death in Puss in Boot's eyes, the amount of risk the studio took to get this moment in the film approved, shows how much DreamWorks really cares and wants this movie to not just be another haha kids film but for the adults watching it, the people who have seen the world and fear death, those with anxiety, get panic attacks, unsure about life the universe, getting married, being a family. These aren't ideas catered to kids.
Everytime I've seen people be like "oh studios need to stop making boring ass animations and actually make a film about serious topics and have better animation and care about the movie" THIS IS IT FOLKS. A STUDIO LISTENED AND IT'S OUT HERE IN YOUR FACE.
So seriously go watch Puss in Boots. It's incredible and you're missing out on something beautiful if you don't.

Basicamente. Oque começou em luz acabou em luz. “Oque você quer dizer com isso?” vocês me perguntam. Simples!
O nome da protagonista é Luz Noceda, e o primeiro feitiço ela foi de luz.
Talvez tenha sido apenas um Easter egg da Dana. Mas ainda assim gosto de pensar que isso foi uma alusão de que a luz (tanto a personagem como o poder) e a coisa mais importante para todo o desenrolar do desenho.
E só isso mesmo. Não tenho argumentos o suficiente. Aqui onde eu vivo não tem ninguém que assiste essa série. Tinha que compartilhar isso com alguém além de mim mesma.

Huntlow Week 2022
Day 2 Flower Crown
“Do you want one too? “
“What?”
Hunter blinked at Willow confused.
“A flower crown.” She said with a gentle smile. “It is just that you have been looking at me making them for a while now... I thought you might want one.”
Hunter's cheeks burned a little. He was so enchanted by Willow’s process that he didn't even notice that he was starting this much.
“Yes, please.” He managed to say it with his heart pounding in his chest.
She gently used her fingers to brush his head before starting the flower crown. And Hunter closed his eyes to let him sink into this wonderful feeling. She was always so careful and lovely with him. Just like when she cut his hair in the bathroom.
The plant witch could make the crown in seconds with just a flick of her wrists. But she wanted to take her sweet time. Bonding with him through this whole process.
Once she had finished, she handed him a small mirror. He hesitated before he looked at his reflection. He knew that Willow’s work would be perfect, but he probably was ruining everything with his face, with the gap in his teeth and his scars.
However, the look on Willow’s face silently encouragement made him finally glance at his face.
The ugly scars his uncle left him were still there, but this time they were not the focus. His Captain’s gift to him was. The way she had arranged the flowers in his head was breathtaking. Made him feel good in his own skin again.
“I look beautiful... Thank you, Willow.”
“You are welcome, Hunter.” She said smiling, happy to make him smile as well.

Thinking and watching thanks to them again has made me so aware of just how fucking chaotic Willow is— she’s so down for bullshit. She stuck a pitchfork into a random persons ass! She stole her bat costume and gave the clerk a single snail like that would have bought anything on the Iles??
When she and Hunter get together she’s going to be so fucking chaotic and tease him like crazy. Like she would be the person to blow a raspberry while kissing her boyfriend. She totally pokes his ass while walking up the stairs. She’s definitely the “bite you” girlfriend but like it actually hurts. Indents and everything. She would lick his ear randomly just to fuck with him.
Willow as Evalyn?
TOH SPOILERS (?)
The ripped dress, the tail?? The overall witch costume? I may be overthinking but what if Willow is being portrayed as Evalyn, the witch who Caleb fell in love with

Listen, if the final Belos fight is indeed 2v1 with Hunter and Willow? All I'm saying is if midway through the fight we start getting flashback scenes of Caleb and Evelyn vs Philip with that smooth animation and just the most gorgeous shot-for-shot fades between the two fights, like with Hunter flickering back and forth with Caleb, or a closeup of Willow's hand casting a spell circle and her hand turning into Evelyn's, I swear to god that would go so hard and I would lose my entire ✨GODDAMN MIND✨

The flowers in Willow's scrapbook are Asters!
Here are some examples of pressed Asters, for further comparison;
On their own, Asters represent patience, love and wisdom. But Asters, much like roses, have unique meanings based on the color of the flower as well. And Pink Asters specifically signify kindness, sensitivity, and romantic love.
I also noticed that Hunter's pillow has a leaf pattern on it as well, which appear to be ferns;
I was halfway through typing out a breakdown on discord about how ferns symbolize healing and protection, (and, as I have since discovered, can also symbolize dreams/"I dream of you") when no less then four people started screaming about this scene;
