If you don't mind me asking what was said in the right between tobias and his father?

Lucas said that the minute Tobias decided to walk out his doors, he was dead to him. He’d never be able to see his siblings again. He claimed that Tobias would just end up crawling back to his doorstep.

Tobias told Lucas that he would grow up to have his own family, and that he would never be able to see it. He talked (yelled) a lot about his childhood, saying that if Lucas would have been there for him, maybe things wouldn’t have to be this way.

Did Carmelo ever have a crush on Rudy in your AU? If so what caused him to stop and move onto Tobias?

yes, he did! He realized that his feelings for Rudy would end up nowhere, and eventually started to lose interest. He also knew that being with Rudolph would be terrible for him. They weren’t a good match, even as just friends.

what would Tobias do a play about?, him roping in Carmelo is really cute!

He usually does them about fairy tales, or makes up his own stories! His favorite is Hansel and Gretel. Carmelo always “complains” when he is roped in, but is actually veeeery into it. They get so happy and giddy while putting on their little plays, they just start giggling and holding each other in the middle of it.

Does Emilio ever stop stalking Tobias?

Not really. He calms down, but is still somewhat present in his life when they are adults.

So did Rudy ever get rid of those snuff films or do those just not exist in your au, or are they not real snuff films at all. it’d be pretty bad if he kept them because I heard it’s illegal to have them in your possession and it’s considered obstruction of evidence.

He buries them when he starts going to therapy. He stopped watching them the start of senior year, but couldn’t get himself to part with them.

Don't remember if you answered this already, but I think you said that tobi and Carmelo go on dates, what kind of dates do they go on like picnics, movies, etc.

They go on a buuunch of different ones! Tobias’s favorites are where they are both alone and peaceful, while Carmelo’s favorites are where they try new things together. They’ve been to aquariums, movies, museums, parks, festivals, amusement parks, etc. Another one of their favorites is when they’ll pick a dish to make and cook together.

What finalized Tobias’s decision to run away? Was it a particular event or did he just decide to do it on a whim?

He had always dreamed about it. Since he started getting closer to Carmelo, he felt stronger and like he could stand up for himself. So, he did! He just walked up to Lucas and told him he was leaving. It started a long fight, but in the end, Tobias was able to leave. A lot of hurtful things were said to one another during the fight, stuff that neither of them would be able to forget.

Do Tobias and Carmelo get married? If they do which last names do each other take?

They do!!! They have a small wedding :)

How does Tobias feel about plays in your AU? We know canonically he likes them because of his childhood. I also think he would enjoy musicals and be a theater kid.

HE LOVES THEM. Tobias is a huuuuuuge nerd when it comes to that stuff. Carmelo’s mom actually bought him a bunch of cheap costumes for him to play with, along with some hand puppets. He always makes Carmelo watch his little performances he puts on, and if he is lucky, he’ll get Carmelo to join with him! Everyone always encourages him to sign up for a school play, but he declines.

How hard was it for Tobias to part with the doll that Emilio gave him? Did he ever have meltdowns over it?

It was pretty hard. Every time he would think about it, he would feel reaaaaaaally shitty and sad. He loved that doll, but hated who it was from. He didn’t have a meltdown over it, but he did cry after he told Luther he didn’t want it. It was a happy cry, he was happy for himself to finally get rid of it.

WAIT SO LUCAS BURNED THE DOLL TOO WITH LIKE ALL OF TOBIS BELONGINGS??? or did he like miss it somehow or think it wasnt from tobias????

He was veryyyyyy close to burning it as well, but Luther kept it. He told Lucas that maybe he could return it and get some money for it, so Lucas gave it to him. One day, while Tobi and Luther are hanging out together, the doll gets brought up. Tobias is asked if he wanted it, and he replies with no. It makes Tobias realize how far he has come, makes him proud of himself for turning down something that he knows will hurt him. The doll gets thrown out, and Tobias is happy with it being completely gone.

In this AU does Emilio still give Tobias the doll? If he does, how does Carmelo feel about it? Does Tobias keep it?

Yes, he does! Pretty much everything that has happened in Ghost Eyes so far is relevant to this AU, except for the fact that it’s more modern.

Carmelo isn’t aware of it. He never finds out about it, actually.

Tobias kept it for a longgggg time. He kept it until the day he left home, since he left everything behind. It was something that he wanted to part with for so long, but couldn’t get himself to throw it out. He is glad it got left behind.

Do Carmelo and Mattias ever meet? What do they think of each other?

Yes, they do! Mattias is very grateful that Carmelo kept Tobias safe. Carmelo is grateful that Tobias had Mattias by his side while they were growing up. They are both peaceful with each other.

Does Rudy ever get therapy or any sort of help?

A little after he graduates high school! But while he is in school, no, he does not. He starts to get very unstable towards the end of his senior year, but he snaps back to reality and seeks the help he needs.

What does Lucas do with Tobias’s belongings?

He burns them. Literally everything.

Who’s your favourite character to draw? This is not limited to ghost eyes, I mean just in general!

What’s your favourite and least favourite thing about ghost eyes?

I love the characters/character design. I like that the characters are severely flawed and shitty and like …. Bad. I’m a sucker for extremely fucked up characters/media ^_^

I dislike a lot of things about Ghost Eyes!!! it’s my favorite comic everrrr BUT godddddd …. Some stuff is just so bad . the fandom is a little wild , but that’s to be expected. The beginning of the comic is so cringy it makes me want to KMS . Mr Edburt as a whole… sexualization of characters … how people treat Rudy …. it’s just a lil crazy .

Tobias’s best coping mechanism is probably age regressing ? It’s one of the only ways that he deals with his trauma in a positive way. It is also something that brings him closer to Carmelo.

His worst is, like I said previously , putting himself in danger for validation. It is verrrrrry bad for him, and he knows it. He is very ashamed of it as well.

Rudy feeling good about himself albeit it, just torturing Emilio, makes me happy for himself. Emilio tried really hard, being Carmelo’s friend and to avoid being his victim, all of that to go crashing down. (I’m Not saying, he is getting bullied by carm or Rudy) just seeing his whole perfect plan ruined.

I have two questions, what are your overall feeling’s on Emilio in the aqua marine au and canon

And second question being. Emilio feeling paranoid and feeling deserving of what’s coming to him due to the regret about what happened to Tobias. Howeverby all the taunting from Rudy, does he feel like Rudy is bulllying him?

My thoughts on canon Emilio aren’t too great, same for Aquamarine Emilio. I think that Emilio’s actions got swept under the rug WAAAAY too quick, and is just a really odd way to depict sexual assault. I understand that victims can feel somewhat closer to the abuser after the assault occurs, but I think it was depicted in a way that is just too… Like. Comfortable? Tobias is very comfortable with Emilio, which is kinda like… I don’t understand that. That’s why I try to depict Tobias’s attachment to Emilio in Aquamarine Au as something that is harmful, and uncomfortable, and more accurate to how victims feel about their abusers. Aquamarine Tobias hates Emilio, but can’t help but feel like he needs the abuse to happen again to gain validation. Since being hurt is the only thing he has known, and his first “intimate” experience was painful, he craves it. I feel like this is a more accurate representation of SA instead of like… Tobias being all goody goody with Emilio. Aquamarine Tobias is HEAVILY based on my own thoughts and experiences and feelings. Anyway, I think I went on a little rant that was likeeeee not what the question asked … I’m not a fan of Emilio , and i try to make Aquamarine Emilio face consequences of his actions ^_^

Emilio does feel bullied, yes. I don’t think bullied is the right word actually … I think it’s more like. Harassed? He knows that he deserves it, but can’t help but feel extremely hurt by all of it. It is very overwhelming for him.

What would you say is Tobias’s best? On the flip side, what is his worst?

Tobias’s best is when he is with Carmelo, or when he feels truly safe and happy. This could be when they are alone together, when he is bonding with Carm’s mother, when he doesn’t have any bad urges or thoughts. The bar is pretty low for him .

His worst is probably when he is breaking down and seeking bad things for validation. That is not fun for aaaanyone …

He looooves to do little crafts. Paper stars, paper snowflakes, pop-up cards, etc. he gifts them to friends and family.

He has always wanted to dye his hair, but his parents told him that it would DESTROY his hair, and be way too much work. He loves the idea of it though.

he rips out his eyelashes when he is stressed, and has trouble with picking at his skin (especially around his fingernails)

Aquamarine AU Rudy:

(aquamarine AU is like … modern? I don’t know if I’ve ever said this , but yeah)

Being a dick to Emilio makes him feel better about himself. Like. It gives him a huge ego boost.

he’s very smiley and giggly during classes. Even just walking in the halls, he is very happy.

They do! They become good friends. Tobias is very fond of Greg, actually. Carmelo is chill with him.

Could you go more into detail on how Rudy feels about Tobias? Does he hate him after the failed apology during the school trip?

Yeah , of course ^_^ Rudy doesn’t haaaate him, But he isn’t fond of him. He does truly care for Tobias, and wishes that he gets the help he needs, but Rudy knows that being around Tobias would be a terrible idea for both of them. Rudolph cannot handle Tobias, he cannot handle a relationship that is so full of hate and instability. So yeah, Rudolph doesn’t hate him, he just doesn’t want to put himself through something that will hurt him again.
