A little too much-Newt x reader x leta

Hey guys. The original first part of the Newt x reader x leta thing got deleted and since being the awesome person who does not keep backup, i have re written this piece. So, guys here goes nothing

Also, the plot here differs with what i had written in the first one :3 hope you dont mind.I did not plan on doing that, but i am really really sorrryyyy. :3 :3 :3

You were wrapped cosily in your blankets when you felt a soft tug at the corners and pulled the sheets right back into yourself with another tug.

Sighing, newt continued,”Love, you really need to get up now, like seriously please do please?”, you just grunted in reply.

“Darling, the occamies are giving birth today” This made you shoot right from your rather too comfy bed and within fifteen minutes you were in the case with your one and only, Newt.

The whole day was tiring and crazy yet seeing that happy smile on newt’s face just after the occamies gave birth, made the day a little more bearable. Gosh, you loved him.

Finally, you retreated to your room after dinner. With Newt resting his head on your lap while you just slowly ran your fingers through his thick, soft curls. Much to your dismay, the bell rang to detroy this perfect little moment. Wondering who that might be, you got from the bed thinking when Newt said-

“ Dont worry love i’ll get that”, you smiled in reply. Perks of dating a Hufflepuff, you smirked at this thought of yours.

Newt stood there, in shock, disbelief and maybe a twinge of happiness when he saw Leta Lestrange (Thats her name rightt?!), after all these years standing at his doorstep a stuttering, sobbing mess who still looked stunningly beautiful. Quickly brushing these thoughts away. He asked her to come inside and gave her a blanket with tea.

“What Happened?, Newt asked, voice filled with concern.

“My boyfriend, he left me. For good, i moved out , i do-dont kno-ow wh-ere to go or wha-”, Leta replied, letting all of her tears flow out.

“Shhh... Its okay. I’m always here. Always”, he replied soothingly and added

“Let’s get you warmed up” a he motioned for her to follow him. Just then, you came to the hall wondering why Newt was taking so much time when you saw her. Leta in close proximity with your boyfriend for the past three years. You shook your head in utter disbelief. This is not real.

“What is she doing here?”

“(Y/N), not now please”, without saying another word he quietly left.

Its been thre weeks since she had been here, at your home. You refused to accept this ridiculousness. Interrupting your train of thoughts, you saw Newt walking to you, without Leta by his side.

“Broke up with your girlfriend?”, you spat at him. You said, releasing all of your anger in this one sentence.

“What? I dont understand Darlin-”

“Darling? Oh, so you finally realised my existence huh? After three fricking weeks you realised my existence,I thought I mattered to you Newt, Hell three weeks earlier i would’ve sworn on my bloody life that you care about me, that you would care if  i eat or sleep or die.Now, i am not so sure if I should stay. Not like you care, or i have a reason”

“THAT’S IT! (Y/N) You have not right to say that. You know I love you, i spent three years of my life with you.I live with you. Is that not reason to stay?”, he said looking hurt

“Is it really? Because the way I see it. The second, that bitch Leta walks in. You seem to forget all about me? Is that how it really is? Am I just a backup Plan for you? The one who always ends up picking up your broken pieces every time anyone hurt you, even if i end up getting hurt, but now you’re too occupied to notice. Me, having to stand up for you, to stand by you all these years, yet this is what you do Newt?  Bring that exact person back into your life, who broke your heart and soul ages ago, to simply break your trust again?”, you continued seething at him

“You cannot talk about her like that (Y/N) let alone anyone else. Can you just respect my choices, for once? She is an old close friend. I cant just ask her to leave, your being paranoid (Y/N), She is going to stay as long as I like, as long as she likes.”, he shot back at you. This was the biggest argument you had ever broken into.

“And you definitely cannot leave”

“Watch me”, you got your bags which you had packed ages ago. It happened. Something you never dreamed of happening. Ever

“Ugh, boring. John, we’re leaving. This was a suicide, there’s gonna be a note somewhere, actually check the journal she used to write, you’ll find something there. Lestrade, we’re done here”, Sherlock said, as if it were the most obvious thing in the world

“Oh my my, the day has come hasn’t it? Sherlock Holmes, makes a wrong deduction, the headlines for tomorrow's newspaper I suppose” you said, smirking at the current situation

John’s eyes lit up. And the expression on Sherlock’s face was, without a doubt, priceless.

“Draco!”, you heard someone scream with a pathetically shrill voice.

“Poor bloke” you said to yourself as you internally laughed, you kept making your way through the train finding a spot to sit it in. You found it. Finally. You slid the door as you walked inside “Mind if I sit here?”

“Get lost mudblood”

“Excuse me? Let me repeat I am (y/n) (l/n) mind if i sit here?” you said stressing on your last name,your parents were the ministers right arm so you were the most respectable pure blood families,even more than the Malfoys

“Oh sorry, surely you can sit”,said a platinum haired boy, looking quite distraught. “I am Malfoy.Draco Malfoy” you nodded. You got lost in your amazing playlist a second later. The train jerked suddenly and you heard the awfully egoistic boy say “What kind of pureblood is she ! hasn’t she got any manners, bloody idiot sitting with a muggle device doing god knows what! I believe she is lying, Crabbe shove her outside i cant stare at her face any longer-“ you cut him off and said“I know i am pretty malfoy, but you don’t need to stare and yes stop being jealous malfoy, I know muggle devices cant be handled by you”, you said getting up to leave, clearly seeing the boy annoyed you added “ oh and tell Narcy i said hi, she’ll tell all that you need to know” you smirked and left leaving the boy dumbstruck.

It was your fifth year and you were quite busy to say at least. The ball was coming up and being the bossy slytherin prefect you were you took things in charge. The Yule ball had to be perfect.

Malfoy was acting rather sweet with you that time. And you found that rather odd, probably lucius’s orders, you thought. You were doing with the decorations, with the help of your wand of course.You decorated the great hall perfectly on the Saturday before the ball then bewitched it to be invisible. Charms were your speciality, interrupting ou thoughts as you worked Draco came in an said “ Need any help” “ I believe i can manage.Your the one who needs help, don’t worry i will be there when you attempt to use a muggle device and fail misreably” “Malfoys-“ “Malfoys don’t fail, am i correct?” you said mimicking him. Its not that you were always bullying people around, but annoying Draco was exceptionally fun. Just then you heard his  clattering on the floor, he had turned around and walked away angry yet sophisticated, guys got style you thought. Finally tired,you left the great hall, which was fantastically decorated by the way. You made your way to the dungeons when you remembered that you were supposed to meet Dumbledore, you turned around quickly, bashing into someone.”Gods. i am awfully sorry! I didn’t mean to- ahh” you screamt lightly as tried to get up, you realised it was a broken ankle.Wow. So lucky i am. “ Wait,I’ll help (y/n)” “Draco? I am fine. I’ll get something from Madam Pomfrey,  I guess Dumbledore would have to wait” Malfoy smirked “ What?!!” “You’re trying to stand with a broken ankle and your thinking about Dumbledore. Now just shut up and don’t you dare say a word or I’ll drop you i swear on merlin I will” “What do you mean by I’ll drop you-“ you were cut off as the tall leany yet muscular boy picked you up, bridal style.When did he become so caring?. You immediately blushed at the thought and as you felt his toned abs brush lightly against your hips. Hella fit guy,now that i think f it…. he is quite dashing- stop thinking this much (y/n) you reprimanded yourself and wrapped your arms around his neck for support. “Do you have any idea (y/n) how heavy you are?This is much more work than i thought it to be” You replied “Dont you dare honey, a bat bogey hex would be the death of you. And i know you wouldn’t after all its the one and only (y/n) in your arms” He turned slightly pink but brushed it off with a smirk and said “Sorry love but i am gonna put you down now.” And you realised you reached all the way to the infirmary in his arms.And you’ve gotta admit, no matter how much of an arse hole he was, this side of draco was infinitely better and you absolutely loved it.
