(Despite having posted 96% of these previously, I just had to put them together in a new little compilation because it never...NEVER gets old. I had so many more I wanted to include, too, but I already couldn’t even fit all the GIFS for the moments I did use, so...part 2? Yeeeeaahhh. Almost definitely.)

I think it’s interesting how one of Dean’s favorite memories is when he’s alone with Sam and they’re, well.

Making fireworks.

Don’t get me wrong, I think it’s so sweet that they were out there, together, celebrating 4th of july and allowing themselves to just be careless kids for once, but I also can’t help thinking that the entire scene with the two of them, the atmosphere, the line “dad would never let us” and of course the fireworks really invite the mind to wander and imagine what that scene might symbolize.

I mean, it’s not for nothing that the concept of fireworks often is used as a metaphor for romantic and/or sexual culmination, and. I don’t know. In all its sweetness, the scene, for me at least, carries some quite sensual undertones.  

another fun fact: there’s a deleted scene in s10 where demon!dean offers his blood for sam to drink if sam agrees to untie him - “we both know how much you used to like it, ain’t that right, sammy?” 

When they were kids, a woman at the park once smiled and told Dean that Sammy was likely to live forever, because as long as Dean was around Death would be afraid to touch him.

Oh if only she knew

J2 being goofy together and also just generally enjoying each other’s company without ever tiring of it.
