She was going to deny his help but giving it a thought, the club needed extra hands with handing the precaution sheets to the stands’ owners. She could do so herself but there were still some documents she needed to look up and check how everything was going with the decorations and what the students needed.
So before she could deny his help -again-, she did a sign to the guy to follow her to the student council room so she could hand him some work.
Sliding the door to the left, she entered the room and gave a nod to the club members, acknowledging their presence in the room, walking to her desk.
“Here” She gave him the precaution sheets before explaining “You need to hand these precaution sheets to the members of the stands, not necessary all of the, just two. If you need more, you can come back and grab them from my desk. Another thing, ask them if they are in need of something for their stand, write them in here” She then gave him a notebook with her name on it “And leave it in my desk. That’s all”
“Thank you for you help,…” She paused, now reacting that she didn’t ask for his name before giving him work. Chie waited for him to introduce himself.
The boy followed the girl to her desk. Then he listened attentively to the explanations of the president. He grabbed the sheets and then grabbed the notebook the president gave him. At a glance he could see the girl's name. That reminded him that he had not yet introduced himself to the girl. He knew that it was rude of him not to have said his name even if he had offered her help, but it all happened so fast that he could not think of it.
"Umh ... my name is Raku." He showed a face of shame for not having introduced himself before. "Raku Ichijou" He said again this time giving his name and surname.
He continued with the leaves and the notebook is his hands. Then he bent to say goodbye.
"I will do my best and hope to be of great help." He walked toward the door of the student council room.
Then he turned to look at the President from the door. "When I'm done, I'll be back to see if you still need my help." The cheerful boy smiled.

The president glanced at the boy before looking down to the band aid, not really needing it because the pain will go away quickly when she is busy with work, she will be distracted and she won’t feel it and she was going to say she didn’t need it but closed her mouth, remembering that one of the club member told her to just accept help even if she feels she didn’t need it.
She grabbed the band aid without saying anything and bowed like a way to say thank you. It was a nice gesture, to say at least, Chie really appreciate it even though her face didn’t show it.
“Thank you… Shouldn’t you be helping in preparing for the cultural festival?”
The boy smiled to see that the girl accepted his help. He liked to help others, although sometimes he did not consider how the person he was helping was feeling.
"I was taking a break when we both crashed. This year many people will come and there is still a lot of work to do and very little time. The truth is that I'm nervous ..." Said the boy answered the question of the president.
Raku could feel the others' worries just by looking into their eyes. He knew that he had annoyed the president by making her delay in her tasks. He felt guilty.
"President, if there is anything I can help you with, please let me know." He bowed apologetically.

She was walking quickly to the halls of the school. She just came out of class to have lunch but that the least of her worries. Coming closer the cultural festival, she was even busier than ever with all the paperwork and accepting or denying stands, assort decorations.
Chie was getting tired and distracted, even to the point to crash with another student while she was reading some documents her vice president gave her before running to the gym and finish decorating the place.
“I apologise. I didn’t see where I was going” She knelt to grab her documents and get back to the student council room and do more work, as always. “Again, I apologise for this accident”
Raku was walking towards a soda machine when someone suddenly crash his back.
"Ouch ..." He turned and saw a girl on the floor.
Quickly the girl got up and picked up the papers from the floor. Before the girl continued on her way, the boy walked toward her.
"Hey, are you okay?" The boy saw the girl's red forehead because of the blow.
"I'm sorry ... I was in the middle of your path and it looks like you were in a hurry ..." The boy placed his hand on his head ashamed.
Then the boy took a band aid from his backpack and offered it to the girl. "You can use this if you want. I'm from the basketball club and I often get small injuries."
