SPIN-OFFS!
Let’s start with the one everyone knows about since our last #Kickstarter
It’s Monster Camp.
Monster Camp is the closest to Monster Prom. It is also a dating sim with 4 ROs (potentially 6 through stretch goals). The ROs are yet to be decided, we will let KS backers vote from a pool of options!
There are 2 main stages: instead of high school and cafeteria, you have Camp and campfire.
Campfire introduces 3 really cool new mechanics. We might show them soon.
Fun fact: not Vera nor Valerie are intended to appear in the Camp game (they’re both in another one).
Also, no more shop. But we bring a new mechanic instead that is close yet different.
You need to conquer the heart of your fellow camp friends. The locations are 5: The Woods, The Lake, The Haunted Manor, The Camp Dome, and the Monster Scouts HQ.
Are you ready?
A wand made from the wood of a fruit tree. When spells are cast, the smell of the tree’s blossom or fruit (ripe or rotten) often lingers.
A necklace of silver rings - a small sapphire is set in an engraved, eye-like, pendant hanging off it.
A sturdy staff of twisted iron.
A lump of black, amorphous goo. When spells are cast, it flows around your hand without falling off.
Part of the root of a tree, snapped off quickly to become a wand.
A glove, elaborately embroidered with sparkling thread taken from another plane. The embroidery is itself encrypted arcane research. (There’s also a few small beads of coloured glass. Those are just for aesthetic.)
A geode, mounted on a stone rod.
A wand carved out of driftwood, that still smells of salt and seaweed.
A bejeweled hairpin.
A brightly coloured rod, with a ribbon attached to one end. Sometimes the ribbon blows when there’s no breeze.
A small, collapsible eyeglass, each lens made from a different gemstone.
A diadem of bone, seemingly growth to fit your head perfectly.
A singed-looking wand that may smell like lightning or charcoal, after a spell is cast.
A bracelet (or hair-tie) of grasses from multiple planes, all woven together.
A signet ring, with a faded crest.
An ersatz eye, always using its enchantments to give you sight - focusing on this helps you focus your own magic.
A spur of bone, in the shape of a wand.
Two contrasting bands, that seem to repel each other slightly - when pressed together, you feel the weave of magic alter (ever so slightly).
A blunt wooden knife.
A rod of glass that seems to have drifting starlight trapped within it.
A short length of semi-sentient, extra-planar rope - it’ll shift for your comfort, but otherwise stays wrapped along your forearm.
An unremarkable copper locket, but with a tiny token of a trip to another plane hidden within.
A monocle with a lens of uncut gemstone, grown by a skilled alchemist.
A black wand with white ends.
A large toothpick
A golden medallion depicting the sun, with small rubies in each sunbeam.
An object so unremarkable, no-one can quite remember what it was when they aren’t looking at it.
Slytherins have a precise technique and they make the audience feel all the emotion on stage. They are the most competitives in the company and every dancer knows that they kill with their technique and passion. They were just born for the big roles and they totally rock it. They don’t like to admit, but their lifes wouldn’t be as good without ballet.
Gryffindors are more emotion than technique. Their movements aren’t 100% right, but the emotion they transmit always compensate. They are the ones who won’t be scared of getting a big role. We can’t forget that they are the ones who are always injured as they secretly never stop until get it right.
Ravenclaws have more than a precise technique. They spend hours and hours rehearsing until every single one of their steps are in the perfect position and timing. They are the ones who can make the sequence better, by adding a little of their touch on it. As much as they have a perfect execution it just lacks connection with their partners and emotion. If they don’t get a big role, it’s better to stay away or they might throw a pointe shoe on you.
Hufflepuffs are entirely passion. They are the ones who were born to dance, as they dance on the stage the audience is crying with joy or sorrow. You can feel how much they enjoy dancing just by looking at them. They are very easily to be partners with and they have chemistry with everyone, especially slytherins.
