finishing a good book is always bittersweet; you're so excited to get to end, to find out what happens, to get closure, but at the same time, you're losing something that feels like a part of you. something that has occupied your life for days, maybe weeks on end, something that has caused your heart to swell and break. you no longer have that comfort, but part of the story will always affect you, find its way deep into your soul, your everyday life.
can you imagine Annabeth having a non-magical yankees hat but sometimes when she’s going too fast she forgets to check which one she’s grabbed so her and Percy are going out for a day and he’s like “are you ready?!” and she pops out of the room like “Ready!” and he’s looking around kinda confused and she’s all “I did it again, didn’t I?” “we gotta get you a Mets hat” “ew no I’ll stay invisible thanks”
It’s 2 am and I’m bawling bc I just finished The Song of Achilles. I thought I was prepared. I knew what was going to happen.
…I was not prepared.
voila - the Henry POV chapter
I did my best, everyone. I hope you can read it alright... if not, I'll try scanning the pages tomorrow.
jason grace deserved better.
So I was rereading Heroes of Olympus and I realized how underrated Nico has been throughout the series. I love Percy and Annabeth so much and they've been through hell and back - literally- but Nico has been through the same. Maybe that's why he hates physical contact. Maybe he's been tortured so badly that every touch from a person takes him back to the horrors of Tartarus. He didn't have any support, he didn't have any Bob or Damasen or Small Bob. He didn't have a person with him through any of that. He was utterly alone.
And that's why Nico deserves the world.

like "ur cute," "no ur cute," isn't that hard
it doesn't have to be:
"finally the flesh reflects the madness within,"
"well, you'd know all about the madness within wouldn't you remus?"
