Jason has like just arrived back to Gotham, caused chaos in the underbelly due to well, 8 heads in a duffle bag, and is just starting his takeover of Crime Alley. It's going good, great even! And then he busts some sort of gang or smuggling ring run by people in white suits and there's... holy shit why do these four toddlers have Lazarus eyes?!

Is that a lab?! And Lazarus waters?! Jason might be a bit mad but he's not an asshole, he's not going to just leave these kids here to the streets. He can't just take them to the Batclan either, and as much as he begrudgingly trusts Talia, he sure as fuck doesn't trust Ras. Who knows what he'd do to four... what are they, pit-kids?

Now he's juggling his whole revenge-thing, running a criminal empire, taking over Gotham's underbelly, and being a single dad. At least the goonion seems to be down for helping, seeing as he's making Crime Alley safer...? .... Fuck he needs some proper sleep

okay but guys, hear me out, tensura au where everything is the same, except rimuru can’t control the age of his different forms past his actual age.

meaning that, when he first gains his human form he’s maybe three or four months old, so his human form looks like

and if he wanted to, he could make himself look younger, but not older.

his brain still functions at its regular level, he just can’t really move much, or speak or all that other fun stuff

now this obviously makes things a little more complicated because it means he won’t be able to use his human form much at all for a few years yet.

but since he can taste in his human form, he does use it so that he can eat with the others, and can you just imagine a googly-eyed Rigurd feeding bby Rimuru and reminiscing about the days his sons used to be so tiny.

or like Benimaru just chilling at the head of the table with 6-month-old Rimuru lounging in his lap.

imagine there’s an important meeting with the leaders of different nations, and 3-year-old Rimuru is sitting there at the table, finger-painting, and the other leaders are kinda weirded out because whose baby is that and why is he here, but they don’t really pay attention to him, discussing Important Business™ with Rigurd. and then Rigurd looks towards the child and asks, “What do you think, Rimuru-sama?” and all the other nations leaders nearly shit themselves when Rimuru replies in a clear, intelligent voice, and in full sentences.

and of course, consider the fact that different species age at different rates! at 3 months old, his Tempest Wolf form would look like

and can you imagine how that would affect his dynamic with Ranga.

because on the one hand this is his master who can more than take care of himself, but on the other hand, he looks like a cub, and Ranga’s instincts are telling him he must protecc!!!

Well, Mermay is almost done buuut, Aquatic batfam is always lovely. So which would you be fine hearing me ramble about-slash-work on the Oneshots lol

Eel Mer-   Eeels. Long wriggly friends. Now with apposable thumbs! And Bruce's growing adoption problem- and a slight family curse but shhh.

Merfolk-   I mean, fish! A mixture of modern and fantasy with the merfolk of Gotham waters being cryptids compared to the rest of the seas. The bats think it's hilarious.

Octopus Mer-   Octopi are fun. And you ever see the videos of octopus continuously escaping their tanks? Imagine if the octopi were vigilantes with weapons. Yeaah...

Crabtaur-  Lazarus crabs? Lazarus crabs! And a curse to them all that they have to work around in their day to day lives.

Nudibranch-   Sea Slugs? Indeed. And a lot of them poisonous and using the poisons in their work- along with messing with each other.

Mershark-   Sharks! Includes Flashpoint-esque Thomas being a murder grandpa and past AlfredxMarthaxThomas, along with Bruce being less murderous

Kraken-   Squids. Think giant merfolk but well, giant squids. Fantasy-esque AU with Gotham being the largest population of pirates & crime on the seas.

Sea Dragon- Sea serpents mixed with seahorses and a bit more. Includes the kids being bio-kids via blood ritual and a couple galas. Also some shapeshifting.

I'm just obsessed with the idea of the chaotic Bloodmoon twin being a literal demon (Bloody, calling the other Harvest for the sake of reading coherency)

That one clip where Bloody sounds so sure that he's the original Bloodmoon and Harvest sounds less sure.

The fact that Eclipse is surprised that there are two of them instead of just one

They're just a little blood demon that needs sacrifices to live!

I also just find the idea of Eclipse screwing up so badly that he managed to accidentally summon a demon hilarious
