Rick seeing Morty’s life as something more important/more valuable then his own is something that made me admire the show even in it’s worse moments.

Rick is a self made god, a black hole of destruction, the peak of mankind and they’re accomplishments, and he would risk all of that for a silly high school kid who doesn’t know basic multiplication.

People who say Rick and Morty is a edgy nihilistic cringe fest of a show obviously never watched it because love is such a reoccurring theme.

but like who started the idea that fanfiction writers are somehow bothered by enthusiasm for their work???? cause i see posts all the time like “do writers really want to talk with us about their fics?
