Three years ago, my dog went viral on Imgur and Reddit, thanks to this picture I took right after she’d yanked down a post from the front of our house with her bare strength.
But like the image above says, this is not a good post.
That dog above, the one that made so many people laugh, her name is Eva, and she’s my 7-year-old lab. She was just diagnosed with canine lymphoma.
Without chemo, she only has 3 months left with us. But her oncologist has given her a good prognosis with chemotherapy. She could live to see her 9th, 10th, and even 11th birthday.
Which means more years of this happy, ridiculous puppy.
The price to extend her life? $8500.
I nearly died when I saw the number. I’m paying off 4 student loans right now, and my parents are in insurmountable debt. I thought, this is it, we’re screwed. In between crying spells and anxiety attacks, I realized what my choices were: give up and let Eva go in the next 3 months, or crowdfund my ass off.
Internet: you’ve done it before, now I’m begging you, do it again. Spread Eva like wildfire. She deserves a second chance. She deserves the extra time, and all the fun and happiness she’ll have in that time.
Here is the link to her gofundme.
Any amount you can donate will help tremendously. Please, help Eva.

How to draw semi-realistic eyes.
important things for new or young digital artists to remember:
don’t shade colors with black
don’t overuse the airbrush tool, especially when it comes to shading
layers have different settings, explore them!
if your lines are wiggly when you draw, check your brush stability settings
if you find your lineart is looking too stiff/not like your sketch, try cleaning up the sketch instead of lining it. it helps keep fluidity and the feel of your original drawing
crop your pictures, don’t leave a ton of empty space unless you add some kind of background
make sure your canvas is set to at least 300dpi
draw on a large canvas ( i draw on a 3000x3000px canvas) it will be easier to line your work and everything will look much smoother even if you shrink it down
.jpeg files save space, but this file type may compress your art and sacrifice quality. when I post art I always use .png
This is a very selfish thing to do and I’m sure it’ll get like 0 attention, but I need help.
October 04th 2015, is was diagnosed with a very deadly high grade stage 4 appendix cancer. Studies show that even with treatment I have about 3% chance of beating this. for the most part chemo is doing a very good job shrinking the tumors, but the chemo will never be enough and eventually my body will build up a tolerance to it. In attempt to prolong my life for as long as possible, the surgeons want to open me up and try to remove everything that way. Unfortunately it’s a pretty spendy procedure, and my dad won’t put me on his insurance because he doesn’t want want anything to do with our family anymore, and my mom hasn’t been able to find a decent paying job for months and months, no matter how hard she tries. The hospital won’t do the surgery unless we have some sort of proof that we can pay the bills afterwards. If we don’t get the money, and I don’t get the surgery I have 2-3 months left to live. If you have any extra money it would mean the absolute world to me if you could donate to my gofundme.
If you can’t donate then please please please reblog so that theres at least a chance this post might be able to reach someone who can.
Most of the time I wouldn’t post anything involving me asking for money, but when I’m this close to death I’m becoming a bit more desperate. If you do donate thank you and know that I truly do appreciate it more than anything.
