Finally I’ve gotten a good understanding of how different brushes handle different textures. I am quite proud of this one, I think it looks really good, and looks rather realistic in textures. Mourning Abe Shinzo

Today we mourn former PM Abe Shinzo who was assassinated during a speech in Nara, Japan.  As a Japanese individual, I find myself shocked and appalled that this sort of thing could happen. Please take a moment to mourn for Japan’s loss of an individual, who kept the country unified and moving forwards.

Karuta time!

Once again it’s time for the next set of Karuta Cards from Sinbad no Bouken. As always, this is an amateur translation. I’ll do them in sets by letters as they become available to me. Today is the S set.

Sa- The country Sasan's creed is guarded by land's order of knights. ササン王国教義を守る騎士団の国。

Shi- The man who will become overlord of the seven seas, Sinbad. シンドバッド七海の覇王となる男。

Su- Spartos, now small, will become one of the eight generals. スパルトス今は小さい末来の八人将。

Se- Sindria Trading Company, flying in the world. せかいに羽ばたくシンドリア商会。

So- Break-even is not everything in business. そんとくがすべてじゃないよ商売は。

I had a dream I was doing a watercolour of an image, so when I woke, I wanted to paint it. All in all, a decent result I hope. Loved the colour scheme.
