I like how mxtx was kind of toeing the line of debauchery with Wei Ying; he's good, he's just a misunderstood genius and he's not terrifying, in fact he's very pure hearted. And then she writes Hua Cheng who's just a nightmare personified. He tells people to kill themselves as a joke (he's in fact quite serious), challenges authority and destroys property, has a SM relationship with his weapon. Everyone's scared of him and there's no purity of heart there. He's legitimately criminally-inclined. He runs a gambling den btw. He's very unapologetic about it and even happily weaponizes people's prejudice against him. He IS emo and gay and antisocial. He IS obsessive over ONE guy. He IS blood thirsty. So what? That's him. That's the main character's love interest. And this IS a romance.

and if i say that wei wuxian and jiang cheng were always destined to end up the way they did then what.

even though i like jiang cheng as a character, i´m okay with him not being in wei wuxian´s life. wei wuxian deserves the happy, peaceful life he has with lan wangji without constantly being on the receiving end of jiang cheng´s negative emotions.

anyways fish husband au where li yu hatereads the disabled tyrant and his delicate concubine webnovel because he has a deaf younger sister and hates the way everyone in the novel treats prince jing and how they refuse to make accommodations for him. so he's solely holding out for the payoff of prince jing becoming a tyrant and destroying everyone who's wronged him.

so when he suddenly transmigrates to the world of the webnovel, he immediately takes the opportunity to get some sweet sweet catharsis and enters the prince's household as a concubine in order to use his knowledge of the novels to help prince jing on his path to becoming emperor

li yu doesn't really expect to fall in love with prince jing and he knows that the prince is eventually going to meet and fall in love with chu yanyu, but his good looks are the only thing he really has going for him in this world so he figures what's the harm in enjoying some good sex and some pampering from the prince? all he cares about is helping prince jing on his warpath

li yu is fluent in sign language because of his sister, so as he starts getting closer to prince jing, he starts teaching him some signs here and there - it starts off simple, with words that he uses often, things like "food", "water", "paper", and a name sign for wang xi. prince jing picks up the signs with startling ease, and as time goes on, the two of them are able to hold more and more complex conversations.

wang xi watches from the sidelines, and sees the way that his prince warms up little by little the more time he spends with li yu, and how much good it does prince jing to have someone around that he can converse with easily.

so with prince jing's blessing, wang xi enlists li yu's help to teach the rest of the jingtai household sign language as well. the servants all jump at the opportunity to be more useful to their master, and when prince jing sees how much effort his servants put into being able to communicate with him properly, he starts opening his heart more to them. he becomes fiercely protective of them, not tolerating any disrespect towards his household members, and this ends up earning him their undying loyalty.

as time goes on, the emperor begins to notice how formidable prince jing is, now that he has a way of easily and efficiently communicating with other people, and when he sees the way that prince jing inspires loyalty in his household, when he sees servants refuse to betray their master when faced with blackmail and bribery from the other princes, he realises that his ideal heir has been right under his nose this entire time.

li yu, meanwhile, is surprised at how much his presence alone has vastly altered the plot of the novel. he hadn't been expecting to fall in love with prince jing, but when he sees the way that prince jing's eyes glaze over chu yanyu during what was supposed to be the big "love at first sight" moment, li yu can't help but feel somehow vindicated. so maybe he doesn't get the catharsis of the warpath, but he's more than happy with this sweet courtship and his husband's peaceful ascension to the throne.

So I've been binge reading the tyrants beloved fish (and my god it is so good please read it) And I was thinking of how a mdzs X TBf au would go. I think it would be ironic if wwx transmigrated into a dog.. man just jumps whenever he sees his reflection lol!

I don't think this is the one you're looking for, But it is a qin su summoning jyl au, both her wnd wwx team up to take down jgy it has Wangxian and Jiang yanli/Wen qing.

Help? There's two fics where Qin Su does the soul sacrifice ritual that I've been thinking about lately but can't remember the titles of.

In one of them Qin Su brings back Jiang Yanli, but because she didn't have any particular target for revenge Qin Su is just like hanging in the back of what is now Jiang Yanli's head. Together they trick Xue Yang into performing the ritual to bring Wei Wuxian back in his body, and because Xue Yang is full of grudges it works properly and he goes and it's just Wei Wuxian in his body. I don't remember many other details apart from Xue Yang having to be talked out of putting Sect Leader Yao on his hitlist and Qin Su eventually getting a puppet body made by Wei Wuxian so she can have her own life.

In the other Qin Su ritual fic, Qin Su brings back Wei Wuxian herself (leaving a letter for him?) and he runs off to... Have adventures? Mo Xuanyu summoned Jin Zixuan back rather than Wei Wuxian and Jin Zixuan is travelling with Lan Wangji. Upon meeting Qin Su!Wei Wuxian and realising there's something between her/him and Lan Wangji, Jin Zixuan tries to be a chaperoning brother person to no one's impressment.

If anyone can help me find these fics, it would be greatly appreciated!

Everyone thinks wwx listens to goth/metal music while lwj listens to traditional/jazz music except in reality its the complete opposite.

The Lotus Pier was never burned (in the novel) – what use is a burned Supervision Office to the Wen? Besides those first three months without Wei Wuxian, he didn't rebuild anything alone. After, it's because of Wei Wuxian that the Jiang Clan continued to exist as a Great Clan and recruited plenty of disciples.

I hear your “Wei Wuxian and Lan Wangji weren’t very close in the past bc Wei Wuxian doesn’t think about him that much as time goes on,” and I raise you, Wei Wuxian deliberately suppresses any and all thoughts of the things that hurt him the most. The fact that Lan Wangji doesn’t come up as often in his internal monologue after they have their falling out indicates just how badly Lan Wangji’s rejection hurt him

Wei Wuxian never killed his father, brother, son, wife and then pretended that he had no choice. Wei Wuxian didn't slaughter a whole clan just because they were standing in his way and he saw them as annoyance. Wei Wuxian was never besties with other mass murderers (Xue Yang).

I wanted to argue that the only thing that made Jin Guangyao better than Jin Guangshan was that he had never forced himself on women... but then I remembered how Jin Guangshan died...

the thing is: lan xichen does not respect lan wangji's autonomy.

everyone always says that the twin jades is the example of the healthiest sibling relationship but it's not necessarily true. yes, lan xichen can discern lan wangji, his expressions, his feelings, he helps him in the aftermath of the first siege and wei wuxian's death. but at the end of the day he doesn't respect his choices and their consequences by laying blame on wei wuxian for his his actions and punishment.

he doesn't understand and doesn't want to understand the lan wangji did what he did not because of some kind of influence from wei wuxian or whatnot but because he wanted to do it — not only for wei wuxian but for himself as well. because he thought that was the right thing to do, because he chose to do it himself.

and lan xichen denies him these choices.

Haha so remember this from yesterday? Yeah it was just supposed to be a silly little one-time thing but now I've been face smacked with ideas for this au so now I must rant. (Also note I've never actually watched hannah montana sooo) ANYWAY.

Wwx is adopted by the jiangs who are ex-superstars , and they're like not the best caretakers... both yzy and jfm want their children to be the next "big hit" but jyl isn't really good at music, and Jiang Cheng is not doing too hot in the industry, also Wwx being a music progidy never even crosses yzy and jfms minds!

This leds to wwx starting a music account anonymously, which.. blows up! Anywho, so now the "Yilling laozou" is born.

Both jyl and jc don't know abt wwxs double life, jc because wwx thinks his secret identity being a bigger hit than his own career would break their already strained relationship.

Wn and wq are the only ones who know of his secret identity (and are also the only reason it stays a SECRET identity) Wn found out om accident which means wq was immediately informed.

In this au Wwx has a major crush on lwj (and is self-aware of it) buy when he finds out that lwj is a huge yllz fan, he's immediately like "Oh no my crush is in love with my alter ego!" And so that's the story or why yllz is constantly hitting on a unsuspecting lwj, Lwj has yet to return any feelings to yllz in fact he seems to avoid his advances... I wonder why, totally not cause he's in love with wwx not at all.

Also Jin Zixuan is a huge music rival to the yllz so when jin zixuan walks into wwxs home one day as jyls bf he almost descends (Jin zixuan has no idea to why this guy who looks oddly familiar hates him with such passionate fire) (and for anyone wondering the music rivalry is mutual)

Additionally, NHS is a HUGE Yllz Stan and is the closest person to have come to figuring out his identity
