I imagine wangxians confession scene to be the most insane piece of lore to bestow the cultivation world because its such a "Oh... that makes much more sense" so they just decide to exaggerate it like they usually do cause THAT IS SOME GOOD LORE.

Fast forward a few months, the story of the yilling laozu (Credits to the cultivation world) is a tragic tale of love and healing where Lan wangji and Wei wuxian were both secretly in love but could not come out because of the fear of guaranteed backlash and so they'd become bitter exs yet, still madly in love that is until wei wuxian died. Coming back after 13 miserable years they'd decided love wins.

Wangxian are amused.

Except.... he can't cook like even when his food isn't spicy its absolutely atrocious as in him and xie Lian could be cooking partners in crime.

He practically terrorizes everyone in gusu, the kitchen workers send warnings across cloud reccess whenever Wwx enters the kitchen.

The only one who willingly eats his food is lan wangji

Lan wangji raised Wen Yuan to be an upstanding and courteous Lan, but I think if Wei Ying raised him instead, he'd be exactly the same. People would go "what a sweet boy how is he the son of the yiling laozhu!?" And Wei Ying would yell about birthing a-yuan himself and scandalize everyone listening and wen yuan would be standing there sighing because he just smoothed things over

She sees Lan Wangji and somehow determines that he is the exact sort of boy Wei Wuxian would fall in love with. So she insists that he attend their dumb summer school and stay there the whole time. Because if he falls in love, she can make him Lan Qiren's problem

Madam Yu: You are going to Cloud Recesses and don't come back until you've had a gay awakening

Very very specific mdzs fic search! But do any of u guys have fics where an mdzs character (any of them honestly) somehow time travels to an alt dimension that takes place in modern times? (Or the opposite where the modern version of the character time travels to canon verse) smth along those lines! ("Transmigration fics" are also smth I need heheh)

I've seen a handful of fics that follow this plot but they're never completed and I need enrichment!

It makes me frustrated to no ends the slander is also always coming from Jc and lxc stans (nothing wrong with the 2 characters I like them) but both lxc and jc are arguably more in the wrong than lwj and wwx will ever be.

Lxc ignored all the signs all the injustice around him despite his aura of rightenous which ended bad for him.

Jc is more complicated considering his past with wwx but it's very annoying how jc fans act like wwx owes jc anything, "oh wwx would not confront jc blah blah" Oh gee I wonder why not like the man isn't FAMOUS for hunting down demonic cultivators for 13 years just because he thought wwx was alive. Wwx never told jc anything abt the core transfer because Jc would than feel like he owed everything to wwx etc in the end it wasn't even wwx who revealed it it was wen ning.

Honestly sick and tired of mdzs (or mxtx fans in general) having a knack for blaming wwx on many of his "bad" actions like hello? Did we read the same novel?? The sects are corrupt frankly even if wwx hadn't accidentally killed jin zixuan that day they would've still went after him... While wwx may not be a white sheep most of his "bad" actions were always either A) justified or B) An accident.

Even before demonic cultivation wwx was being constantly oppressed because of who his parents were, even the jiangs yes even jc. (Except maybe yanli) He was a brother a inventor a genius when convenient and a murderer a servant a devil when useless.

Going back to what I was saying earlier what exactly did you guys expect wwx 2 do when being ambushed? Or when seeing innocent ppl being murdered?

Was he supposed to stand and look pretty as hords of Jins attacked him? Was he supposed to stand by the sidelines as he watched the sects he sacrificed everything for slaughter 100s of innocents?

Also I blame nothing of yanlis death on wwx, yanli willingly came up to a bloody battlefield and willingly gave herself up in place of her brother.
