My newest project! I’m making myself a patch to commemorate the time a total stranger said I had "Ren Faire Energy".
Some positive brush pen lettering!
ID under the cut:
[ID: two pictures of calligraphy in a fun, bouncy font. The first reads “sunshine” in bright yellow lettering with a thin black outline. The word is all lowercase, and the dot over the i is a small sun. A yellow Faber-Castell marker is positioned under the words.
The second picture is of calligraphy in a similar style, this one in light blue ink and reading “have hope”. Accents have been added in much darker turquoise ink, down the left hand side of each letter, and the words are surrounded by small paisley-shaped doodles. END ID]

hi! may i ask how you put your embroidered patches on clothing? do you glue or stitch them on? your works are lovely btw 😊
Thank you! I usually glue my patches on, so I don't have to worry about hiding more stitches in the patch. Sometimes I'll reinforce it with thread, but the glue has been holding fine so far.
A quick calligraphy doodle for my new D&D character: rootin’ tootin’, crossbow-shootin’, traveling occultist Equia Collins!
Flourishing with Posca markers!
ID under the cut:
[ID: two pictures of brightly colored calligraphy. The first says “Equia” in orange ink. The capital E is elaborately flourished, and the rest of the word is decorated as well. The second picture shows three calligraphy pieces: “Anikka” in dark blue and purple, “Nitya” in light green and light blue, and “Lucy” in light and dark green. The last two are decorated with paisley patterns in their accent colors. END ID]
When we did our poetry unit in creative writing, I often didn’t know what to write about... so I wrote about writing. Honestly, I’m pretty proud of it!
ID under the cut:
[ID: two images of the same poem in fancy, cursive-like calligraphy. The poem reads:
Some poets write verse ‘til they’re giddy
some think a haiku just sounds pretty
to broadcast my voice
my weapon of choice
is the limerick: simple and witty.
In the first image, the words have been embellished to vary the line weight. It bears more resemblance to traditional calligraphy. The words ‘voice’ and ‘weapon’ are colored with blue instead of black to make them stand out. The second image is the same poem without these embellishments. END ID]
I took a calligraphy class! Still not great at these but I'm having so much fun with my subtle adventure zone quotes.
My friend lent me some 'magic markers' and I used them to make this!
The markers included a colorless marker that made the other inks change color and a little marker airbrush thing that you just had to blow into to make it work.
